This hotel is conveniently located just 550 meters straight ahead on your left when you exit Rotterdam Central Station (as shown in image 1). There's some road construction outside the entrance, but the main entrance is clearly marked with a circle in image 2. The reception lobby is upstairs. Check-in started 10 minutes early, and there were quite a few guests already, so we had to queue. The room was clean, and the Western-style breakfast was decent. The location made getting around very easy. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. I'd definitely consider staying here again or recommending it to friends. Thank you for your hard work! Conveniently located just 15 minutes from both the train station and the main shopping district, this hotel offers an ideal base for exploring the area. It stands out as one of the better options in its category, offering comfort and excellent service. The staff are a true highlight – friendly, attentive, and responsive to all enquiries. A special mention goes to Merle, who went above and beyond to assist us with travel arrangements. Her warm and professional manner made a lasting impression. One area for improvement is the breakfast offering. Guests with dietary restrictions or those who avoid meat and eggs may find the options somewhat limited. Expanding the menu to cater to a wider range of dietary needs would enhance the overall experience. Overall, a highly recommended stay with thoughtful service and a prime location.

Friendly and very pleasant staff at the reception, also great with dogs. The location is very central, and there are many parking options available for vehicles.

I booked and paid extra for a room with one double bed for two people, but the hotel gave me a room with two single beds pushed together instead. This was not what I paid for. In addition, the rooms were extremely noisy. I could clearly hear conversations and noise from the neighboring rooms as if they were inside our room. I was unable to find any comfort or rest during my stay. I specifically requested a quiet room, but instead I was given one of the noisiest rooms in the hotel. This was very disappointing and did not meet the standards I expected from NH Atlanta Rotterdam. I am dissatisfied with my stay and would appreciate an explanation and appropriate compensation for these issues.

A great value-for-money hotel with its own indoor parking (reservation required). It's only a few minutes' drive to the city center. The two bedrooms aren't completely separate, but the night view from the window is fantastic. Recommended!

The hotel was really clean. The photos we saw of this hotel all over the internet showed it to be close to the promenade, but unfortunately it wasn't like the photos and it was a long walk from many things. The breakfast didn't have the variety that a five-star hotel should have, it was about the same as a four-star hotel and there was very little choice. The Netherlands is famous for its cheese, and considering it was a five-star hotel and in the Netherlands, there was very little choice of cheese at the hotel's breakfast. The hotel didn't have slippers, it's a good thing we had brought them with us. We went to five- and four-star hotels in several different countries and they all gave us a bottle of mineral water a day, but here, no, there was no water and we bought it ourselves from the market. And another thing that really bothered us was the extreme coldness of the room🥶, to the point where it was like winter (we were there on September 1st). The air conditioner in the room was always on and could not be turned off at all, and they themselves confirmed this, and unfortunately I got sick there🥺😮💨. One of the towels and one of the pillowcases were also dirty. If they can't be washed, they should be thrown away. This brings down the quality of a five-star hotel. The menu selection was limited, but we had a very delicious fish dinner.😋

The style of the whole hotel is very like, very new, the front desk service is very good! The hotel is located between the two cities and it is a bit difficult to take a taxi.

The James Hotel is located in the center of Rotterdam, right next to the famous Lijnbaan. There are many facilities around the hotel, which was the deciding factor for me to choose this hotel. I had a room with a King size bed, but due to the room's layout, it was very cramped to move around in. In fact, I had all the facilities I actually needed, but there were a few things that were a bit disappointing. Despite staying on the 13th floor, I unfortunately didn't have a city view but looked out onto an adjacent building across from my window. Watching TV had to be done from the bed because it couldn't be rotated towards the table with a stool. It's not ideal to watch TV from bed and eat at the same time. Spills were sometimes the result. Given my advanced age, a proper chair with a backrest would have been more pleasant than sitting on a stool. I stayed for 4 nights and accepted the minor drawbacks. Normally, I also book breakfast at the hotel, which wasn't possible at The James. Although there was a space to create this facility, you had to buy your own food (packaged) from an adjacent kiosk in this area and then take a seat at a table. The packaged food was even quite expensive, so I decided not to make use of any food in this hotel.

On the outskirts of The Hague, you need to have a car to arrive and parking is convenient. An old manor hotel, the hotel is in the forest, there is a lake in front of the hotel, great! Breakfast is also very good!

The hotel was very shitty and terrible! First bed: I book a single double although the room is single double room for sure, the bed is combine by two single beds, there was even a hole between two beds, when I told the staff about this, she just told me she can’t fix this problem, until they shift to another staff, despite that he help me to fix the problem but it already the last three days of my stay! Second shower system: the bath system is also shitty! Water either extremely hot or cold, and the staff doesn’t figure out how to fix the problem, until my last 4 days staying! Eventually I got cold after I ‘m back in the UK! Third heating: the heating should be a centralised one, but the staff didn’t figure out how to fix it or turn on it,they even give me a portable one instead, the voltage often overload because the heating, and lights in the room, and it is also one of the reasons I got cold. Last lights: the lights is very dark in the room! I’m quite disappointed my stay, the hostel should increase the training of their staff also the facilities, fix the problem of heating and shower system! I will never book this hostel again.
