While the hotel was generally clean and comfortable, several aspects of the stay were disappointing—especially considering the nightly room rate. One major issue was the €22 per day charge for parking. Many comparable hotels offer complimentary parking as a standard courtesy, so this felt unnecessary.
Another inconvenience was the lack of daily replenishment of bottled water in the room. This is a small but basic amenity that many hotels provide, and its absence was noticeable.
Additionally, the room itself felt quite old and in need of some updates. It didn’t quite match the standard expected for the price.
On a positive note, the hotel is conveniently located near a Rewe supermarket, just about 2 to 3 minutes away, making it easy to grab any essentials.
Overall, these added costs, the room's condition, and the overlooked details made the stay feel less guest-friendly and not quite worth the price.
We stayed here with our baby and were very satisfied. The room offered a beautiful city view, and the facilities were complete and clean. We'll definitely choose this place again on our next visit to Stuttgart.
The hotel is located outside Bieberach and is directly connected to the thermal. This can also be used for guests of the hotel for free.
My impression of the hotel was unfortunately rather less good. The laundry cars stand on a day alone right next to my room door. At the end of the room there were 2 long black hair in the shower and washing basin. The beds seem to have come in the years and I have sleeped badly the nights.
Breakfast is super! However, I didn't find the staff super that one colleague put the gluten-fee bread on the ground just back to the others on the buffet! You should see the staff once schools.
My summary: Next time I'll sleep elsewhere
”Insider tip” for everyone who wants to live in absolute peace (as long as the other guests are mi**aching) in the most beautiful district of Stuttgart and still be able to reach the city on foot or by bus in a few minutes and doesn't need a restaurant. The wellness area is very good considering the size of the hotel, especially the sauna.
Only the ”fitness room” is a windowless little room.
The parking situation is also bad: the hotel has around 12 spaces, with more guests it gets tight. All residential streets are subject to a fee, but only on weekdays
We've now stayed here for the third time. For over three years, neither the bar nor the rather pleasant dining room has been open. Anyone expecting these amenities will currently be disappointed. The front desk is staffed by constantly changing individuals who don't appear to be hotel employees. Since this year, guests are asked via signs at breakfast to clear their own tables. All of this points to a significant staffing issue. The service is okay, but not the friendliest. I highly doubt anyone working here has any formal hospitality training. We are now aware of these circumstances. For us, it offers space, seating, a private bathroom, and a bowling alley if you want one. It's clean and quite affordable. The breakfast buffet is quite good. Furthermore, it offers special rooms for families, which we also liked. The location is suburban, which suits us. It seems to attract many travelers passing through, as it's not far from the highway, yet it's very quietly situated.
Highly recommended – modern, high-quality, and genuinely welcoming!
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, new, modern, and furnished to a very high standard – truly a place to feel at home! Everything shines, is spotlessly clean, and stylishly designed. Guests are welcomed with genuine warmth and friendliness, and the staff are incredibly kind, polite, and professional. It's evident that a lot of effort goes into ensuring guests have a wonderful stay.
Breakfast was outstanding – lovingly prepared and presented, with everything your heart could desire. A particular highlight was the perfectly prepared avocado toast with Eggs Benedict – simply divine! The coffee was also delicious and served with a friendly smile.
The location is central, yet remarkably quiet. There's a fantastic view, making it a wonderful spot to relax and unwind. The room's decor is stylish and beautifully coordinated.
We felt completely at home and will definitely be back!
– Extremely Disappointed with My Stay
I usually don’t leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience after a recent stay at Mercury Hotel. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had in years.
1. Room Condition – Far from What Was Advertised
The photos on the website looked great, but the reality was shocking. The room was small, outdated, and poorly cleaned.
2. Customer Service – Cold and Unhelpful
The front desk staff seemed disinterested and dismissive. When I ask for water they didnt give.
3. Breakfast
It was included in the stay but it was really poor.
The room was decent. The price was OK, including breakfast. There are many people staying in the hotel. It is a 15-minute drive from Heidelberg. The parking lot is free, but the price is half the price of hotels in Heidelberg. The cost performance is still very high.
The hotel is in a great location, and it should be the best hotel in Baden-Baden. It is located opposite the drinking fountain hall and **. As expected, I was not given the room type I booked at first, but after negotiation, I was given a larger room type. So if you don't speak English well, book a basic room in Europe, and don't pay extra for other room types, because they will definitely give you a worse room type. This is my experience. The hotel is very close to the central area, within a few minutes' walk. There is a Lion Hotel restaurant near the hotel that is very popular and basically full, and the boss lady serves in person. I ordered pork knuckle and grilled ribs, which tasted great. The hotel's breakfast is very good and the service is thoughtful. Baden-Baden is a relaxing and romantic resort city.

GGuest UserThe hotel is relatively old, the door is scratched, there is no exhaust fan, and it is difficult to dry clothes. It is next to the Danube River and the scenery is good. Breakfast was okay, but there were no hot drinks

GGuest UserThe room was large and very clean. The bathtub is also an unexpected joy. The indoor pool experience is great, and there is a steam room. Stayed for 7 days, very good, this price is also very good. It is convenient to eat nearby and the supermarket is very big.
MMichael54188Great location right by the train station, offering good value for money. It's a bit older, but still clean and hygienic, so no issues there. Perfect for business travelers. I even saw Lufthansa crew staying here.
GGuest UserNice hotel, very friendly staff, delicious breakfast and more than enough, one diner in the restaurant was also very good.
Sometimes the floor where we slept was a little noisy, And after our opinion the rooms were 2, 3 grades to warm.
MMichaelxuThe hotel front desk is not very friendly to yellow skin, the hotel facilities are average, the breakfast is expensive and simple, and it is not recommended to add breakfast. There are many restaurants and bars nearby, and it is convenient to eat and shop.
