Today is October 4, 2019. I just came out of Gaoyi Ancient Village and returned to the hotel near Hongjiang Ancient Mall. There is leisure time in the hotel, just to do something. When I formulated this National Day trip plan, I learned about the information of Gaoyi Ancient Village on Trip.com. I felt that there was very little information. Now I have walked around and can share a lot of what I have learned. 1. Ticket price of Gaoyi Ancient Village: 30 yuan for adults, 15 yuan for half of tickets, free tickets for people over 70 years old (photos below). Moreover, I happened to encounter free tickets for the National Day scenic spot in 2019. 2. Gaoyi Ancient Village has its own visitor center and parking lot, and it is still being built and improved (photos below). 3. Traffic situation in Gaoyi Ancient Village: I started from the hotel near Hongjiang Ancient Mall and drove more than 30 kilometers to Gaoyi Ancient Village. About 20 kilometers were on 222 provincial roads. They were all asphalt roads and the road conditions were good, but the last 10 kilometers needed to turn into a section of cement road more than 10 kilometers. This section of the road over the mountains and over the mountains, rugged, is an obvious mountain road 18 bends, self-driving friends should pay attention. According to the scenic staff, at present, another road that does not need to cross the mountain and the mountains is close to the end of the construction (Gaode map has not been collected at present), and the traffic conditions in and out of the ancient village of Gaoyi will improve in the future. 4. Eating and accommodation in Gaoyi Ancient Village: There are many homestays in the ancient village, which are very convenient for eating and lodging. 5. For tourists, what to travel inside the scenic spot? Many materials on the Internet have mentioned in this regard. Many buildings from the Ming Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty are still reserved in Gaoyi Ancient Village. From my personal experience, there are many ancient buildings, but how do local managers manage these monuments? Some ancient houses are used as clutter houses, do tourists want to see these? After the tour, I talked about some of my views and feelings in the visitor center and the staff said that they had plans to continue to develop. I sincerely hope that the scenic spot management will plan and build the scenic spot well, and keep the historical wealth left by the ancients and develop it well!
