Souvenir shops are lined up in front of the gate. Immediately after entering the gate, the stone statues of the zodiac were lined up, so I searched for my stone statue of the zodiac and took a picture together.

100% the best of Busan, great for sightseeing as it is rare to see such a breathtaking architecture. however if you come here for religion, it’s not as rich as other temples

This was one of the most beautiful temples I have ever been to! The views by the sea are spectacular and there is a lot to explore. This is a perfect place to visit to learn about Korean culture and history. You can also go in any season.

This is one of the most beautiful temples I've ever been to! Take the bus and walk uphill for about 10 minutes to get here but the views are worth it! There's a restaurant at the entrance and street food stalls along the way. You can easily spend an hour here.

Wow, what a breathtaking sight! 😮 The Haedong Yonggung Temple in Busan is an absolute must-visit destination for anyone traveling to South Korea. As soon as I stepped onto the grounds, I was transported to a world of tranquility and beauty. 🌿The temple itself is a masterpiece of traditional Korean architecture, perched atop a rocky cliff overlooking the stunning East Sea. The vibrant colors and intricate designs of the buildings were a feast for the eyes. 🏯 But let's be real, the real star of the show is the incredible view! 🌊 I could have spent hours just gazing out at the vast expanse of sparkling blue water and towering rocky formations. As I wandered through the temple complex, I couldn't help but feel a sense of peace and serenity wash over me. The sound of the waves crashing against the cliffs was like nature's own symphony. 🎶 And let's not forget the adorable deer that roam freely around the grounds! They were the perfect addition to the already magical atmosphere. 🦌If you're looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and reconnect with nature, the Haedong Yonggung Temple is an absolute gem. Just don't forget your camera – you'll want to capture every moment of this breathtaking destination! 📷

A Serene Encounter with Tradition: My Journey to Haedong Yonggung Temple**As the first rays of dawn kissed the horizon, I found myself standing at the edge of a cliff, overlooking the vast expanse of the East Sea. Nestled in this breathtaking landscape is Haedong Yonggung Temple, a sacred sanctuary that defies the typical temple location in the mountains, choosing instead the rugged coast of Busan, South Korea. The journey to Haedong Yonggung Temple began with a sense of anticipation. Upon arrival, the sounds of the sea greeted me, a symphony of waves crashing against rocks, harmonizing with the distant chants of monks. The air was filled with a salty tang, mingling with the subtle scent of incense coming from the temple.Walking along the path leading to the main sanctuary, I was struck by the intricate statues and pagodas that dot the landscape. Dragons, symbols of power and protection in Korean culture, adorned the temple's balustrades, as if guarding the sacred grounds. The architecture, with its vibrant colors and ornate details, stood in stark contrast to the blue of the sky and sea, creating a mesmerizing tableau.Inside the temple, the atmosphere was one of profound peace. Devotees and tourists alike moved with a respectful hush, absorbing the spiritual ambiance. I took a moment to light a candle and offer a silent prayer, feeling a deep connection to the place and its history. The temple, founded in 1376 during the Goryeo dynasty, not only serves as a place of worship but also as a beacon of hope. Legend has it that the site was chosen by a great Buddhist teacher who sought a place of tranquility for the people. The highlight of my visit was the statue of the Sea Goddess of Mercy, perched on a rocky outcrop, gazing eternally over the ocean. It's said that she brings protection to those at sea, a comforting thought for the local fishing community.

The seaside temple in the Haeundae-Machine Zhang area of Lushan has a good view and no tickets are charged. Going down the steps, temples with sea views are really rare. It is quiet here, there are not many tourists, it is worth visiting.

Very recommended itinerary, about an hour's drive in the suburbs, you can watch the Buddhist temple by the sea, there are many tour groups will punch in!
