The Magellan’s Cross or Shrine is said to be the location where the Portuguese Ferdinand Magellan erected a cross to signify the propagation of the Roman Catholic faith in the Philippines and Asia.For the locals, the Cross or the Shrine has miraculous powers that could heal them even from the diseases which are considered as incurable by medical doctors.

It was an amazing experience witnessing ongoing mass and interacting with the locals.

I went there recommended by the locals, but it was small and small. I can't enter the building, and it feels like looking at the crosses and paintings standing inside from the outside.
