Hotels With Spa in Bavaria, Germany

The breakfast service was excellent. The room was nicely decorated, clean, spacious, had a lovely balcony.

The hotel is situated in a quiet and peaceful residential area with just a 10 min walk to Nordfriedhof station and also nearby tram station. The breakfast buffer spread is great, my favorites are salmon + horseradish and croissant. Extensive selection of beverages from juices, coffee, tea and milk. The room provides nice bedding with comfortable pillows and the toilet is spacious.

The hotel room is very comfortable. The bedsheets smell hygiene and good. I love the bathroom with beautiful bathtub 🛀. They provide very comfortable bathrobes by default. Their service is excellent. Can ask for extra still water and standard stuff without charging. I would definitely wanna book the same hotel if I am in Munich. Location is just next to the main interchange train station with direct ride to Munich Airport.

The location couldn't be better. It's right across the street from the train station, and thanks to that, the convenience store access was also great. All subway lines are connected to the central station, so whether it was the exhibition hall, the airport, or deep into the old town, getting around was very convenient. The bed was very comfortable, and the water pressure and drainage were both fine. The air conditioning was a little bit of a letdown, but it wasn't a problem for use. Breakfast might get a bit tiresome if you stay for a long time, but there's a good variety, making it suitable for choosing what you like. The only minor drawback is that outside noise isn't completely blocked out.

On a side note about the city, Munich is a lovely city overall. There aren't many Chinese residents, it's quiet and pleasant, and the climate is comfortable, making it perfect for a summer trip. The most striking impression I had during this trip was how arrogant the restaurant manager was, acting superior and exhibiting that inherent European sense of superiority. It's clear he's never set foot in China and doesn't realize that our facilities are now incredibly well-developed and advanced. It's precisely because of our strong motherland that Chinese people have increasing purchasing power. I've studied and worked abroad, but now I live in China long-term. This comparison fills me with immense national pride. It's through the country's strong leadership and the diligent efforts of all its people that China has achieved such rapid development and overtaken others. I sincerely wish our motherland continued prosperity and strength.

The location is pretty good, and the room is spacious. It's not far from the exhibition center, and there are direct buses to the exhibition center and subway nearby. There's also a supermarket about 500 meters away. They provided free water on the first day, but not after that. The room wasn't cleaned daily.

This is a decent 4-star hotel located in Garmisch. It was 7 min walk from train station. There was a kebab shop and an icecream restaurant right next to and across it. Dm drug store, supermarkets and more restaurants are within minutes of walking distance. Breakfast was buffet-style. There were a couple of staffs at breakfast and they were amazing. They would ask what kind of coffee and eggs you like for the day, and their service was quick and polite. Choices of food was more than sufficient, with croissants and rolls, toaster available, smoked salmon, a wide variety of spreads, ham, cheese, fruit juices, vegetables, cereals, milk/skimmed milk/soy milk/oat milk, more than 10 types of tea……. 4-5 pm is tea-time. The sitting room was elegant and spacious, which makes you feel calm and at home, with some background soothing music. You can read the papers or choose a book from the shelf there. There was also a small pool, steam and sauna, which were all delightful and relaxing, esp if it was raining and cold on some days. My room has a balcony which faces the mountains. It was spectacular and stunning to enjoy this view at dawn and dusk. Staffs were friendly and helpful. There was one gentleman, in shirt and tie every day ( who happened to have injured his leg and wore an orthosis and crutches to work) displayed exceptional kindness and passion in his job. He offered help and a lot suggestions spontaneously whenever I asked questions and told me “it is why I am here!”

Public transport is literally 2mins walking distance. So convenient. And you dont need to headache about the luggage since this is so close to station. Room was clean, they changed room for us immediately when we found out our the water hose in bathroom has spoilt. Service was good.

For a hotel located by the lake with a relatively high rating, I naturally expected a comfortable and reasonably spacious room with a nice lake view. However, I booked a single room and was honestly very disappointed upon entering. The room was extremely small, the bed felt cramped, and the ceiling was very low due to the sloped roof which means I couldn’t even sit upright on the bed comfortably. Even worse, there was no proper view through the window at all. The window was tiny, making the room quite dark, and it didn’t face anything pleasant. The photos on the website were also quite misleading and did not match the actual room I received. For a room priced at around €150 per night, this kind of space and condition feels unreasonable. To be fair, the facilities in the whole are fairly good. There is a wellness area, a gym, and a restaurant with great food and a nice view. However, the restaurant is also quite expensive, and breakfast is not included and must be paid separately. Given the pricing, I don’t think these aspects deserve excessive praise. What really matters is the room itself. Paying €150 per night for a room of about 15 square meters, with an average ceiling height of less than 2.2 meters and a very tiny window facing other’s balcony, honestly made me feel misled. In my opinion, the room quality does not match the price at all.

We had a very good experience here at the le meridien hotel munich! We were greeted warmly by the receptionist, alex miller. I remembered him clearly because of his warm and welcoming demeanor. He gave very good restaurant recommendations ( all were very delicious - attached is the list) and went above and beyond!! Kudos to him. Perhaps the only thing missing was toileteries amenities which were not in the room, but if you request for them they will give you. Bottled water is only given 1 per day. Would definitely come back and recc people to stay here!
