How to play on your first visit to Malaysia, a bloody lesson tells us not to just play in Kuala Lumpur
How exactly to play on your first visit to Malaysia, whether to join a tour group, go on a free-and-easy trip, hire a private car or take a taxi. One article solves it all.
🗓 Itinerary:
Day 1 - Arrival, Rest
Day 2: Kuala Lumpur City
New National Palace Not recommended⭐️, can't enter, just take a look from outside
Independence Square ⭐️⭐️⭐️ recommended, great for photo ops
Batu Caves Controversial, but I think it's good⭐️⭐️
Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur Must visit, best at night⭐️⭐️⭐️
Day 3: Putrajaya — Malacca
We hired a car to Malacca that day, passing through Putrajaya
Pink Mosque Must visit⭐️⭐️⭐️
Malacca Strait Mosque Must visit⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dutch Red Square Must visit⭐️⭐️⭐️
Other attractions in Malacca are okay, these are the ones I think are must-visits
Day 4: Fireflies — Sky Mirror — Feeding Pigeons
Sky Mirror in Malaysia Highly recommended⭐️⭐️⭐️ but weather-dependent
Feeding Eagles: ⭐️ so-so, not particularly recommended
Fireflies: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ really beautiful, can't capture its beauty in photos
Blue Tears: ⭐️⭐️ luck-dependent, still recommended and can be done together with fireflies, no need for a separate strategy
🚉 Transportation Tips:
For the city day, if English is not a big problem, consider using the local app Grab, it's very convenient, accepts Alipay, cash, etc. However, if you have an Apple phone, it's troublesome as my own phone is Huawei and I can't download the local apps.
For going to the suburbs, it's recommended to hire a car, find a Chinese driver, they are quite good, and some also recommend places to eat.
📝 Note tips:
Note, usually when coming to Malaysia it's through AirAsia, be aware, check if there is a luggage allowance, if not, do not bring a suitcase, it's very expensive. Liquids over 100ml must be checked in.
Great experience. The helper+photographer provided very good services and guided us to take a lot of beautiful pictures.
This tiny island is just a sandy beach where you can't find a single tree. Just bare land with millions of tiny creatures moving on the beach. I wondered how many we killed that day by our feet. The island is by only sea creatures, tiny ones. We saw millions of tiny crabs, like 1cm big, crawling all over the beach. but i lovessss to visit sky mirror
Spectacular shots at Sky Mirror! The stunning salt flats is a hidden gem in Kuala Selangor. We indulged these unparalleled views of the sky & sea during these precious moments of low tide.
Malaysia sky mirror located at ( Kuala SELANGOR) Kuala SELANGOR Beach pretty nice unique as tourist attraction and only accessible when low tide. This beach also known as (Mirror of the sky) as the shallow waters of this secret island, which is reflects the sky in all it's going. When you reach there only available about 60 to 90 minutes time to spend on the sky mirror beach and also depan on the period of tide of the day. Love this place so much.

The Selangor River can be said to be the most perfect experience in Malay. There is no one silver leaf monkey + eagle + firefly + blue tears and the rough and rapid shower that has not been filmed. The thunder that cuts through the starry sky is an excellent configuration for parent-child travel.
The itinerary is very good, the time traffic is great, the scenery is beautiful, but the eagle is not the tourist to feed, it is a lot of eagles who fly down to eat food.
