Puerto Ayora

The port of Alayo is an important seaport in Galapagos Province. It is very quiet and beautiful like a paradise. You can take this as a place to stay, go to the surrounding islands, and do island hopping tours, which is convenient and comfortable, it is worth visiting.

Port Ayola is the most famous seaport city in Galapagos. It is full of freedom in South America. Although it is not a modern bustling, it has a strong South American local characteristics, lively night markets, flower beds and colorful streets, beautiful harbors. It is a very comfortable city.

The largest city in the entire Galapagos Islands. The Galapagos Islands have four inhabited islands, namely Isabella, Santa Cruz, Floriana and San Cristobal. Santa Cruz Island has the largest number of people (about 18,000), followed by Cristobal Island, Isabella Island (about 2,500) and Floriana Island (about 180). Accommodation on Santa Cruz Island is concentrated in the southern port of Puerto Ayora, which is the best place to stay and the most hotels in the islands. There are more than 80 hotels in the town, and there is a lot of choice. The main price ranges from 40 － $120, and there are more than a dozen hotels with $200+. The main restaurants are concentrated on Darwin Road (coastal road from the pier to the center of Darwin), and it is a great choice to eat the scenery facing the sea during the day. In the town of Ayora at night, the restaurant street is launched! There are banks and supermarkets on the island, and there are many travel agencies on the street that provide day trips. There are many sea lions at the pier, and the pier lights at night attract many small sharks and RAY.

Port Ayola is the most lively and bustling place in the Galapagos except Santa Cruz. The island is developed in commerce, the environment is beautiful and fresh, and the nightlife is also very colorful. You can choose to live here for a few days, go out to the sea to play around the islands, and enjoy and relax here.

Back at the Ayola port terminal, we took a half hour free activity, took a picture in front of the Galapagos sign, went to the nearby supermarket to buy a lettuce, two ice cream, and played with the sea lion lying on the bench while waiting for the boat at the dock.
