Songgang Qingluo
Koenji Temple is a Shinshu Otani school temple located about ６ minutes walk from JR Kakogawa Station. I worshiped when I took a walk in Kakogawa in February. It is one of the 60 １ selected from my town Kakogawa. A well-shaped mountain gate directs visitors. You can freely see the precincts. The principal image is Amida Nyorai. It is said to have been founded by Nishiken Honda in 1596. In the precincts, there is a tomb and a memorial monument (a poet from the late Edo period) of Aoto Matsuoka. If you are interested in shrines and temples, why not visit them?
