It is a flower of the court noble crest of Akechi Mitsuhide.
Original Text
It is on the way to Tanishoji Temple on a group bus trip. It was open for free on this day, so I stopped by on my way home. Not only the purple of the Akechi Mitsuhide Kuge crest, but also many white and pink Kikyo were in bloom.
I visited the Taiga Drama Museum behind Kameoka Station. Kikyo no Sato in front of a temple related to Mitsuhide. Pay the entrance fee and take a walk while watching Kikyo flowers. It is a scenery that can only be seen this season.
A flower garden in front of Tanishoji Temple, which is related to Akechi Mitsuhide. It is open only to the public during the Kikyo period, and the impression that you will overlook it if you don't know it even if you pass in front of you at other times. It may be off the center of the city, so there is still a little-known feeling (although it takes about 30 ~ 40 minutes by bicycle from the station). The opening time is also specially open to the public at Tanishoji Temple, so I would like to go around as a set. (on the other hand, only Tanisho Ji Temple is not possible)
