Cute
The pond is cute. The nature surrounding it is beautiful. There are also some koi fish swimming around. It’s pretty cool to see the clouds in the reflection.
It is adjacent to the south side of Nara Park. It is very close to "Fufu Nara" where I stayed at that time, so I took a walk around Sagiike after breakfast. There is a promenade to the middle of the pond, and there is a hut-like building called Ukimido. It was a very healing place. Especially recommended for those staying in Fufu Nara.
It is located on the south side of Nara Park, close to Hihino and Kataoka Umebayashi. The pond alone is beautiful, but it has a taste, probably because it is integrated with a magnificent cypress bark-roofed hall in the form of an octagonal hall called Ukimi-do. It was a place where I wanted to take a calm and take a leisurely stroll.
There is a Ukimido in the center of the pond and it is a walking & shooting spot. It is originally an irrigation reservoir and is not an old pond. No, it was a special atmosphere for an early morning walk.
Compared to Omotesando of Kasuga Taisha, the number of people is sparse and the number of rugged deer is small, so it is perfect for taking a leisurely walk or taking pictures. There are many stone stairs and uneven roads, so heels may hurt your legs.
