Immediately from Suminoe Park Station. Adjacent to Suminoe Park. Founded in 1940. The deity is the spirit of the martyrdom related to Osaka Prefecture. Memorial monuments are lined up on both sides of the torii gate. The shrine built in 1963 is reinforced concrete and roofed with copper plates. In front of it, there is a statue of a mother, "A statue of gratitude to her mother", who carried a baby on her back and pulled the hand of a small child. It's a Monpe figure, so it's probably modeled after the mother during the war. When I read the words engraved on the pedestal, I spilled tears probably because of my age.

When I went to Suminoe Park with my nephew, I went to worship on my way home. It is a shrine right next door with an impressive large torii gate on the street. The nearby Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine is also good and I go to visit, but it is good for children to have such a large shrine in the city.
