Ogawa Festival, the essence of local community!
I went to Higashiyoshino-village in Nara prefecture to see Ogawa Festival. The village, 2 hours from Osaka by cay, is a beautiful, quiet town deep in the mountains. The festival is dedicated to Niuk...
It is an old shrine that enshrines Japan's oldest water god Okami no Kami. It was said that the beginning of the votive tablet was to present a white horse to this company. This wooden floor is the best in Japan, and I felt that the old days were shaped by prayers for rain from heaven.
I worshiped at the beginning of the three companies tour. I bought a Japanese paper red stamp for visiting the three companies here. When I was looking at a friendly and cute horse, the keeper called out and stroking it.
Chusha → Kamisha → I came in the order of Shimosha.
Original Text
22 I visited the company. This time, I went in the order of Chusha → Kamisha → Shimosha. On the way back to Osaka, I was caught in a little traffic jam around Shimoichi. Shimosha → Kamisha → The order of Chusha may be smoother, is it a choice to go farther or come back gradually? The impression as a shrine was Shimosha > Chusha > Kamisha. There is not much meaning to compare, but I always care about where the original 22 Niu Kawakami Shrine is during my visit. ...
Tanyu refers to red soil, tatsusago or mercury sulfide. Tatsusago was probably mined in the past on the Tatsusago River that flows in front of the company. After digging up Tatsusago, there is no other way to run a field. Therefore, the shrine named Niyu eventually becomes the god of water. This shrine is one of the three Niyu Kawakami shrines, and it is a high-class shrine ranked among the 22 shrines. The fact that Shinma is kept is also a historical feeling.

A place to pray for rain in silence

It is a rare shrine with black and white horses.
