This Lunar New Year, I didn't go to the crowded Xishuangbanna, but instead went to the lesser-known small towns around Pu'er. I've been wanting to visit Jinggu for a long time, and I finally made it! Jinggu has a long history and rich cultural heritage, and is famous for its many Buddhist sites. The small tents seem very small at this moment, and the clouds at the horizon feel very close. ❤Recommended reason: The price is moderate, except for the villa type which is more expensive, but the facilities are complete, there are many types to choose from, and the cost performance is higher in the off-season. There are also the Grand Canyon, hot springs, and Mengwo Zong Buddha Temple nearby for play. 👍Most recommended: The characteristic architecture is a highlight, the red land is paired with small round forts, cacti, boulders, and this is Mars in my heart! Super large playground, bouncing clouds, climbing facilities, rainbow slides, pink beach mini Ferris wheel, children of all ages can have a lot of fun! Tent camping barbecue, open-air KTV, even just looking at the rolling mountains in the distance is a kind of healing, the lights are on at night, it is a different scenery! Be sure to book a sea of clouds room, look at the sea of clouds with the sunrise in the morning, it's just like a fairyland! 🍽Catering recommendation: The restaurant's dishes are less, it is recommended that hot pot can watch the sunset, change the hot pot, you can also choose barbecue! Mengwo Buddha Temple
Mengwo General Buddhist Temple is located in Weiyuan Town, Jinggu Dai and Yi Autonomous County, Pu'er City. Jinggu County was formerly known as "Mengwo". In Dai language, "Meng" means place, and it is also the place where Sakyamuni visited and left his footprints. "Wo" means well, which means a place with salt wells. Since the Dai people generally believe in Theravada Buddhism, numerous Buddhist temples, including Mengwo General Buddhist Temple, have also become places for local people to worship and pray. The scenery is beautiful and should be great for taking photos, but unfortunately we had a child with us… We went in the morning, and the lighting was excellent! There's a fish feeder inside, and the carp and catfish are huge, as well as black swans and a Kapibala interactive area. Since we went to the Wild Elephant Valley, we didn't go see the elephants. Highly recommended!

It's definitely worth a visit. I fed the elephants and saw a song and dance performance. It's worth mentioning that the performers were very dedicated and professional on stage. I also had an elephant meal at the scenic area. The price wasn't expensive; it cost about 200 yuan for four people. After visiting Wild Elephant Valley, you can also go to Manzhang Village to do handicrafts. A taxi from Xishuangbanna city to Wild Elephant Valley cost about 70 yuan.

The Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake scenic area is incredibly beautiful on a sunny day. The cable car station seems to be accessible only by taxi, but taxis in Dali are relatively inexpensive and convenient. Note that there's still a walk up the cable car, which some people might find a bit tiring. Overall, it's very cost-effective.
