Killarney National Park

Killarney National Park is the most famous natural park in Killarney. There are dense primeval forests and trickling streams dancing happily in the mountains. It is also a paradise for small animals and birds. It can be described as a paradise of birdsong and flowers. It is the best tourist resort in Killarney.

Muckross House

Muckross house and garden is one of the most important attractions in Killarney. It was originally a private estate of Irish nobles, but now it has become a public garden. The castle building is very magnificent, and there are also beautiful gardens. In spring and summer, flowers bloom here, the lawn is flat, and the air is very fresh. It is definitely worth a visit.

Lough Leane

Killarney National Park is located near the town of Killarney in County Kerry, Ireland. It is the first national park established in Ireland. Its predecessor was Muckross Villa, which was donated to the Irish Free State in 1932. Later, the park was greatly expanded. This national park is really too big! It is nearly 103 square kilometers (more than 100 million hectares)! It mainly revolves around a huge lake: Lough Leane. The park is rich in flora and fauna. It has the only native red deer herd in Ireland and the largest existing virgin forest. However, due to limited time, we were unable to visit the entire park in detail. We just stayed in a B&B near the national park and took a walk by the lake when the sun set, which was also an experience of this place.

Ross Castle

Ross Castle is the main building in Killarney Park. It is an old castle of Irish nobles. The whole building is very beautiful and requires a separate ticket to enter. The large garden outside the castle is even more beautiful. The lawn is as flat as a golf course. There are very few people, which is absolutely ideal for taking pictures.

Ring of Kerry

The Ring of Kerry is a circular scenic belt in County Kerry, with a total length of about 180km, which is very suitable for self-driving tours. Here you can not only see beautiful coastal scenery, but also farmhouses and ancient and elegant town scenery. It is really a must-see. It brings endless beauty and joy.
