Located in the southern part of Anhui Province, Ma'anshan is a national-level garden city and one of Anhui Province's five key tourist cities. It is named after a mountain on the banks of the Yangtze River which is shaped like a horse's saddle. It is one of seven steel bases located in China. Ma'anshan has a long history and rich tourism resources. In addition to attractions such as Caishiji, Taibailou and the Tomb of Li Bai, a yearly Li Bai Poetry Festival is hosted here.
