In fact, many cities in Henan have beautiful nicknames or ancient names; for example, Hebi was anciently known as Zhaoge, and Xinxiang was known as Muye. Why is Zhumadian called Tianzhong? Ancient people believed that on the Summer Solstice, the sun's position was the "center of heaven." At this location, there was almost no shadow. Its geographical landmark is Tianzhong Mountain, located north of Runan County in Zhumadian. Additionally, the "Yu Gong" (Tribute of Yu) records: "Yu divided the world into nine provinces. Next to the first section of the magic carpet, turn left to find the Journey to the West Sculpture Garden. The path up is a bit winding, but be sure to visit the sculpture garden before taking the second section of the magic carpet. Once inside, you can see the "Little Western Heaven," where thousands of Buddhas gather. After hiking Chaya Mountain during the day, return to the city in the evening to visit the Zhumadian Royal Post Station. You must go at night; the night view is better, and there are flower boat parades along the river. You can pay to take a boat ride. The Royal Post Station is quite large, but the shops are very homogeneous—there are Hanfu shops everywhere. It would be better if it were planned with more unique features. I personally don't like crowds, so I only walked around for a while before returning to the hotel. It's hard to get a taxi at night, so I suggest not staying out too late. The scenic area isn't large; a leisurely hour is about right to appreciate the scenery. Qingchuan Pavilion and Guishan Scenic Area are directly connected by the Iron Gate Pass, which leads to the West Gate of Guishan. Climbing the mountain and enjoying the breeze and osmanthus fragrance is a wonderful experience.
