The tourist town is well-deserved. The narrow streets are full of tourists' cars. The main road here is still called High Street. The street is not long, and it is lined with rare and interesting small shops and country hotels on both sides. The logo of Chipping Campden stands on the roadside. There is a building in the middle of High Street that is very eye-catching. It is the landmark building of this town - The Ancient Market Hall. This hall was built in 1627. At that time, it was a market selling butter, cheese and meat products. This should be the ancestor of the modern indoor farmers' market. This building is made of honey stone, with multiple attic-like sloping roofs on the top and arches on all four sides. From a distance, it looks a bit like a temple somewhere in Asia. You would never think that it is a market building.
