Animals In War Memorial

Animals in War Memorial I am an animal lover, especially cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits, etc. So I am very happy to find this monument in Hyde Park. I am also very touched. In addition, there are other animal monuments in the United States and South Africa.

Russia even has a memorial to the dogs sent to space. But I remember those years living in Shanghai/Beijing, I never saw an animal monument. Even though many animals died in war.

After crossing the Serpentine Island from the Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain to the Animal Monument, the inscriptions on the monument said very well that they had no choice. The animals used to serve in the armed forces were horses, mules and dogs, who served well and loyally.
