    A Waste of time

    There was no "tour" but we wandered around a few greenhouses. The gift shop was open, mostly selling stuff not local to the Azores (like cashmere scarves and plastic pineapples made in China. . . . )...

    Wouldn't visit another pineapple plantation

    Came here on a cruise excursion. Relatively little to see - it's just lots of pineapple plants in numerous greenhouses. The pineapple liqueur we tried was not to our liking.
