Tamagawa-daishi Temple

Master Tamagawa is a temple on the outskirts of Tokyo. From the outside, it's nothing special: surrounding monastery buildings, a nice garden and some Buddha statues. But when you walk in, you will find that there is something special inside. A staircase leading straight down will bring you into a dark space. After a few twists and turns, you will come to a row of Buddha statues with candles. If you continue to move forward, you will see a huge stone Buddha, about 300 small statues. Buddha statues, and 33 Guanyin statues. After reaching the exit, the bell rings to announce the end of the pilgrimage, and here we enter the world with sunshine. About a 10-minute walk from Futako-Tamagawa Station, this temple is definitely worth a visit if you're in Tokyo.
