The hotel is located in the town of Obertraun, 5 kilometers away from the town of Hallstatt. You can walk there, take a train for 2.8 euros, and then take a ferry. You can also ride a bicycle (free of charge) or take a taxi. The hotel owner lives upstairs in the cottage. The first floor is for accommodation. It is clean and hygienic. You can cook. There is a sauna room. The bedroom can accommodate 3-4 people. The scenery is beautiful and the room owner is enthusiastic, but remember to check out at 10 o'clock the next day. Overall very good.

I really recommend this hotel. The owner is very warm and hospitable. Because the supermarket closes at 5pm, the owner saw that there was not much time and even drove me there to go shopping. The owner was about to leave at that time, and he showed me my room in person, and then introduced me to various delicious and fun projects around St. Wolfgang. It felt very warm and I would choose to stay here again next time I come.

It was a great room in the middle of the mountain. It was the most satisfying hotel for our trip. When we entered the room, everyone was stunned. The room was wide and the view of the lake was so beautiful. There was a lot of food, beer and drinks in the refrigerator. The supermarket in town bought some more, and Meimei burned dinner and breakfast the next day

AAnonymous UserThe guesthouse is brand new, and all internal doors offer mobile key access. Online check-in was available, which was particularly convenient for us traveling by car. It's also conveniently located, not far from attractions and supermarkets. My only regret is that we were assigned a ground-floor room, which felt a bit dark. Otherwise, everything was great.

GGuest UserEverything was perfect except that we had check-in at another hotel which is about 5 mins drive from where we booked. It would be nice to give us an information beforehand not surprise us by a little note on the property and told us to follow the location. There was no parking spot at all at the hotel we had to check-in. Good thing that I wasn't a solo traveller. I can't imagine how I could check-in since the check-in location is far from walking distance and there wasn't a spot to park at the check-in location.

EEUNJOOThe stopover I chose while going to Hallstatt from Vienna. I chose a residence type accommodation with a washing machine for the purpose of washing clothes for a long trip, but there was no room, and there was a small washing machine and a dryer in the laundry room. Fortunately, we were the only users, so there was no difficulty in washing, but we were troubled because we didn't know how to use the German washing machine. Maybe it's because it's not working well, so the washing and drying time is very long.
There was a 1-size electric microwave, simple cooking utensils, tableware, and cutlery in the sink of the room, and although there was a terrace, it was only a wooden dam, so I brought an iron chair table to the road.
It is quiet in the neighborhood, there are many marts around, there are gas stations and banks (travellog fees) right across the street from the hotel, and there is a free parking facility in the basement.
Because it's an unmanned system, check-in and check-out are also made of machines, and the disadvantage is that it's hard to get help because the staff can't see it.
