PiaoliangdehadaThe guesthouse's location is incredibly convenient. It's a 30-minute ride on the Nankai Airport Line to Tengachaya Station, followed by a straightforward 30-minute walk. Alternatively, the Yotsubashi Line's Hanazonocho Station is even closer, just under a 5-minute walk across the road and along Hanazonocho Hondori, offering direct access to Namba and Shinsaibashi. There's also Shin-Imamiya JR Station, which is a bit further, about 1.2 km or a 15-minute walk.
Check-in was a breeze; upon arrival, you simply collect your keys from the mailbox in the room to the right of the main entrance. Daily trash disposal is easy – just take your rubbish downstairs to the large bin located to the left inside the gated area. The lobby provides handy supplies like trash bags, fresh towels, and toothbrushes.
Room amenities are excellent and the space is ample, which is a big advantage of guesthouses over hotels. There's a microwave, pots, pans, and dishes, so you can buy groceries and prepare simple meals. A washing machine with detergent and a drying rack on the balcony are also provided.
Before booking, I was quite concerned about the noise issues mentioned in other reviews, and I was a bit apprehensive before my trip. I was assigned a third-floor room not facing the train line, and while it was a lower floor, I had read reviews saying rooms on the opposite side were also noisy. However, my personal experience was that there was no sound at all. Even when trains passed, the noise wasn't significant, unless you're an extremely light sleeper who needs absolute quiet. Personally, I don't see it as an issue. For those like us, staying in a room on the opposite side, we didn't hear any track noise at all. Plus, the hotel offers direct views of Abeno Harukas and Tsutenkaku, both about a 30-minute walk away. I even went up to the 9th floor to catch the sunset.
Overall, this guesthouse offers great value for money. While it's true there are some homeless people in the area to the right, it still feels very safe and doesn't affect your travel plans. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Osaka.

Tara-vel with MeThe location is a great walking distance from Shin Osaka Station. The room is big enough to accommodate our family of 5. It's like a home away from home vibe, we were able to cook our own food during the days we were not able to roam around due to heavy rain. The only thing that needs improvement is the bed. The hardest bed that my back laid down and the bed spring almost protruded and almost touched my back. Over all it is good, the only downside is the bed.

Fatiha MustaffaWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Although the space is compact, it felt surprisingly spacious for the two of us and had everything we needed.
The bed was very comfortable, and the apartment was well equipped with a washing machine, refrigerator, TV, microwave, kitchen, and cooking utensils. We especially loved the balcony, as it was perfect for drying our clothes every day.
What impressed us the most was the host's kindness and hospitality. We arrived in Osaka after a long flight, feeling exhausted and sleep-deprived, so we asked if an early check-in might be possible. The host kindly accommodated our request at no extra charge, which we truly appreciated. Being able to rest before exploring Osaka made a huge difference to our trip.
Thank you for your warm hospitality. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Osaka and would happily stay here again!

There was no TV, but it was great to have a projector.
When filling the bathtub, it was the type where you have to turn a faucet and adjust the balance of hot and cold water. I felt the water was cooler than the set temperature, so I ended up taking a lukewarm bath. I think this would be a bit tough on a cold day.
The reviews mentioned there were no pajamas, so I brought my own. It would have been even better if it said 'no loungewear' in the amenities section.

Guest UserThe hotel is clean, affordable, and fully equipped with kitchenware, a washing machine, detergent, and a hairdryer. It's quiet and a bit far from the station. Self check-in was private and hassle-free. I liked it very much and will definitely stay there again.

ZithounProjectJa Hotel Shinfukae: Review Summary
• Cleanliness: The property is exceptionally clean and well-maintained (”neat”), which is a major plus for any traveler.
• Location: Excellent proximity to the local metro station, making it very convenient for exploring Osaka's main districts like Namba or Umeda.
Important Logistics to Keep in Mind
There are two specific operational details that travelers should be prepared for:
• Check-in Time: Standard check-in starts at 4:00 PM. This is slightly later than some traditional hotels, so plan your arrival accordingly if you have heavy luggage.
• Digital Check-in: The process is entirely online. Make sure you have a charged smartphone and internet access (or the check-in details saved offline) before you arrive at the property.
Pro-Tips for Shinfukae
1. Early Arrival: Since the check-in is digital and at 4:00 PM, check if the hotel offers a luggage drop-off area. If not, the nearby metro station likely has coin lockers where you can store your bags while you grab a bite nearby.
2. The Local Area: Shinfukae is a more residential, quiet part of Osaka. It’s a great place to experience a ”local” vibe away from the neon lights of Dotonbori, with some authentic izakayas tucked away in the side streets.
3. Transit: From Shinfukae Station (Sennichimae Line), you are only a few stops away from Tsuruhashi, which is famous for its vibrant Korean market and incredible yakiniku (BBQ).

Cuckoo15Prime location, near major station which we can go directly to the airport.
The only problem is about the noise from some machine in the room I guess. At around 3AM, there was some beep beep sounds which woke me up. Otherwise, everything is wonderful. I would definitely book this hotel again if I go to Osaka next time :D

☆negatus☆Decent location, 10 minute walk from station
Clean well cared for and good size rooms. Basic but good amenities. Microwave in foyer, fridge in room.
No parking, had trouble finding coin parking that waa close, the 711 next door has parking but crazy expensive.
Was noisy. I could hear the person above me stomping their feet and the chinese family talking loudly through the walls. Loud conversations in the hallway was also really loud from my room.
Finally self check in opens at 3pm. Nice and simple check in and out a code / qr code.
But note there are no staff prior to 3pm. So leaving your bags are at your own risk.

I am really satisfied with this room. It's spacious and can accomodate more than 4-6 people except a small toilet. It's good for budget. Elevator card is designated so that others can not stop my floor and has no security problem.
It takes 7 minutes from Shin-imamiya staion(JR) and 6 minutes from Ebyscho station. Mega DonKihote and Shinsekai takes 5-7 minutes by walking . I will stay again if I visit OSAKA.
