Super-expected room on the way to self-driving. The hotel has its own restaurant bar, located by the sea. The room is very new, the decoration is very stylish and simple, the coffee machine, oven and refrigerator are very new. The landlord also intimately presented croissants and jams. You can enjoy the sea view from the balcony of the room. The key is that the steak and tuna steaks in the restaurant are also very delicious and highly recommended!

The staff were excellent & the room was divine. It is clearly now a family/young children-centric accommodation. The pool was great but 8 unaccompanied children in the spa (aged approx 4 to 8 years old) diving around (unable to touch the bottom) was very unsafe & uncomfortable for me. 2 parents were on phones more than 5m away. Also screaming toddlers & numerous kids on all 3 billiard tables - defying the sign saying 18 years+ only. We have school-aged kids but it was our special few days so these 2 areas could have been adults only & that would have made all the difference.

We stayed at Angourie for 3 nights, Beautiful location and convenient , close to shops and beach. The resort itself needs maintenance. The kids' indoor play area needs a good clean and also a change, and all the safety screen needs we couldn't use it as too many mosquitoes were around. We got some snacks from the restaurant ( calamari and chickens wings ) and this was a let-down for the price you would expect a minimum standard of freshly cooked food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a nice stay.

Location was good. Apartment had good size rooms beds super comfortable, no noise from neighbors all weekend. Had all we needed in apartment. The apartment does require a thorough clean though, the lounge, though comfortable was pretty stained. A great kids play ground located a short walk away. Kids loved the pool.

The environment is good, the room is large, and there are wild kangaroos if you have a chance to go there. It's worth staying for two more days. The facilities are also complete, including swimming pools, tennis courts and golf courses. Just make a reservation for dinner in advance otherwise it closes very early. The first floor is dark. Free parking is available and suitable for self-driving tours. You need to bring some food with you, as the supermarket is far away.

Recently stayed (July 2024). Check in counter can be found in Mercure Hotel, however, there was no email or sign regarding check in instructions. We had to go and ask from the pub and went back to Mercure which is a bit of a hussle. The room was huge in size but carpets need to be upgraded, it is a bit smelly. Overall, the stay was OK for an overnigth rest.

Service: All the staff were friendly and hospitable. Cleanliness: Clean and well maintained. Facilities: Poor compared to hotel grade. - The pool is too small. - Gym Facilities Are Too Poor Location: BEST The hotel is old and the facilities are worn out overall. However it was clean and well maintained The best thing about this hotel is the location. The view from our room on the harbour side was so stunning and impressive. However, the size of the room was too small and inconvenient. So overall, I'd give it about 4 out of 5 stars.

We enjoyed our stay in the cottage at the back of the property and found it to be very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to book it again and stay on our return journey from Sydney.

GGuest UserExcellent experience! W Sydney I recently stayed at W Sydney for 6 nights and the overall experience was impeccable. From the moment I arrived, the service staff was very enthusiastic and professional, taking care of every guest in detail and making everyone feel at home. The room design is very modern and has a wide view. The room I stayed in faced the night view of Darling Harbour, and it felt like I was in a painting every night. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was well soundproofed, so I had a very good rest at night. The hotel facilities are also commendable: the infinity pool on the top floor is so amazing that it is a must-visit; the gym is well equipped and the environment is clean and bright. The breakfast is rich in variety, combining Chinese and Western, the ingredients are fresh, and the service is efficient. The location is also excellent, within walking distance to Darling Harbour, Barangaroo and Pitt Street shopping areas, which is very convenient for travel and entertainment. Overall, W Sydney is a high-quality stay experience, highly recommended for travelers who value design, service quality and convenient location. I will definitely choose here next time I come to Sydney!

AAnonymous UserYHA Sydney Central is one of the most conveniently located accommodations in the city — literally steps away from Sydney Central Station. Just take the lift down from the station, cross the street, and you’re there! The hostel is modern, clean, and comes with a friendly and helpful team of staff who are always ready to offer great advice. There’s even a café inside where guests can enjoy a discount — perfect for a quick coffee or breakfast. Right in front of the hotel, you’ll also find a tram stop, making it incredibly easy to get around Sydney. The common areas are spacious and well-designed, with plenty of activities and events to join — whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, there’s always something happening. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Sydney!

GGuest UserGood location, heart of the CBD, easy to walk to the buzzy areas, also easy to get plenty of passive cigarette smoke right outside the hotel from those low-IQ anti-lung people. Museum [Train] Station is nearby which is good - 15min ride to domestic airport, bus stops nearby can take you to The Gap too. Room was spacious, functional, it's not Hilton but no complaints, cleaning staff are polite and accommodating. No toothbrush or extra soap bars but they were very kind to provide it all when requested — even at 22:00. All staff were friendly, nothing but good vibes, except the Aussie high school girl who checked us in at reception on Friday evening. She was vacant in the brain department, seemed confused about being awake and conversing at the same time. Didn't tell us where breakfast would be (but i can follow my nose), what time it ends (i eat early anyway, so was ok), where the gym is etc. When asked, she said you get discounts on drinks at 'Cidery', although that's not the breakfast place, and i don't drink anyway but she wouldn't know that because she didn't appear to be a fan of knowledge or Q&A. All she said was ”Breakfast is at 'Ember' ” — clearly i'm supposed to know this world famous restaurant named after a dying fire, what floor it's on and which TV show the chef was on. I brilliantly figured out it's 'Amber', it is across the lounge from reception on the same level, which is one level above the entrance on Pitt Street, and i should've spotted it by turning around and checking all the angles, so my bad. There is no TV show chef but the buffet is quite good, as is the machine coffee (which is also nice and hot), so you don't need to order cappuccinos which is an extra charge (If you're new to Aus, note that all cappuccinos/lattes are at least AUD 5.00 and the service is always good, partly because they're having a laugh about selling you mostly warm milk at $5 a mug. Also coffees are never hot enough no matter how many times you say 'extra hot please' because according to law, only the weather is allowed to go above 33 degrees Celsius). Don't know if the hotel had wifi, because Reception-Girl-With-Plastic-Smile never mentioned it (It's ok, my mobile data is unlimited). The only useful thing she told us was the hotel is working on building a swimming pool someday. My wife said I must've met girls like her at Cornell except for the fact that i didn't. Overall i recommend Rydges (and also Hilton), although I prefer the correct spelling of ”ridge”.

BBriFkidVery cleaned room and nice helpers. Near Macquarie Centre and metro, easy to go everywhere and shopping anytime. Nice laundry room and the fitness room. But the choice of breakfast provided by the hotel is very limited, still tastes good. We stayed for 7 nights and everything went well. This place is highly recommended. You can find many chargers in the room. Good privacy and quiet space.

RR Katy YMy family of 3 checked in early around noon. We stayed at a lovely 1 bedroom apartment on e 2nd level with a balcony which overlooks e street below. Apartment was spacious, amenities provided were sufficient though one could request for more when necessary. What we loved best was e location which was so convenient for us to check out different places of Sydney. We ended up walking to our destinations most of e time while enjoying e weather and scenery. There was ample food choices all around e hotel too. Apart from a busier and noisier street during e weekend, which usually dies down by midnight, my family and I had a great stay in Rydges.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in an excellent location in the heart of the Sydney CBD. The rooms are spacious and clean however a bit dated. Although the room was pre-paid my card was charged for a second time. I pointed this out to the front desk staff and it was quickly resolved although I wonder how often that happens. The entire hotel is in need of a refurb so not sure the rooms are worth the price however it served my purposes and was not a bad experience.

UUfoshangdelishuBeautiful room, large in size, clean bathroom, bathtub, snacks provided, drinks in the minibar are free and refilled the next day. The lobby and the exterior of the hotel are very photogenic. The surrounding restaurants are pretty good. There is a bus to the QVB at the door. It is very convenient. It is very close to the Botanic Garden and the Art Museum. It can be reached by walking. Through the Botanical Garden is Circular Quay and the Opera House. , walking is not hard either.
