The hotel’s location was convenient, making it easy to access nearby attractions. The breakfast offered a good variety of options, though the quality could be improved slightly. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning in the future.

For a Regional area like Utsunomiya, I cannot help but rave about how amazing Candeo Hotel Utsonomiya is. Starting from the location; it’s not even 5 minutes from the station so if you have heavy suitcases; there’s barely any hassle to get to the hotel. There’s also a 7-11 right below the hotel so if you need a bite at 2-3 am, you know where to go: there’s also some amazing restaurants right below the hotel so id also say it’s super convenient. In terms of the room, the room was very well maintained with elegant design and very cozy. Room size was sufficient enough and also very comfortable. And the breakfast is just amazing. Every day different soups and just delicious salads with super fresh fruit. 6 out of 5 on the breakfast. And lastly the service, just very very helpful and extremely polite and patient. Some understood English and some understood basic but with google translate it was a piece of cake. They also helped me transfer my luggage from their hotel to the next in another city. Overall just a 5 on 5 rating for every aspect of the hotel.

It's a nice hotel. It's quiet in the bustle. The room is spacious and the back is covered with a quilt cover instead of a sheet. The breakfast buffet with Japanese food downstairs is very popular, but the front desk didn't mention that the restaurant downstairs has a supper of sea bream tea and rice. , although the portion is small and the taste is mediocre, at least the front desk told me enthusiastically when I stayed in the main building the day before. I caught up with the most beautiful autumn in Japan, which amazed my eyes and heart.

It was a very clean hotel. I stayed in a single room with a double bed, and it was spacious enough. Once you enter the room, you don't feel like you're in a container. Since we were traveling by car, it was convenient and helpful that the parking lot was right in front of us when we opened the door. This is a hotel I'd like to stay at again.

Short walk from station. Very helpful staff. English spoken. Will store luggage before check-in and after check-out. Room was clean and comfortable. A noise of machinery (perhaps the lift or the heating system??) could be irritating for light sleepers. Free breakfast (bread, egg, salad, juice, coffee) was good. Supermarket close by (microwave on hotel) or a selection of restaurants. We visited in early April and there was still snow on the ground at the lake and waterfalls -- dress accordingly!

The hotel is generally new and clean. The rooms have slightly low ceilings but are functional, and the bathroom is easy to use. It takes 9 minutes to walk from the station. However, the atmosphere along the way isn’t great due to solicitors from girls’ bars. That said, the service at the hotel is good, and the price is reasonable.

The same English-speaking staff was at the front desk and breakfast and dinner, so communication was smooth even if you didn't speak Japanese. The hotel facilities are old, but they are spotlessly clean. The tatami and duvets are very comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. The breakfast and dinner are also very rich, and the price-performance ratio of this price range hot spring hotel is unbeatable. It takes only 5 minutes to walk to the edge of the canyon and the upper reaches of the Kinu River, where I saw a little bit of cherry blossoms.

Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture is an area with really bad service, but this hotel provides the standard service of a hotel. The front desk is also very friendly. However, the young front desk staff is rude, as you would expect from a Utsunomiya local.

Location wise, it will be suggested to either drive a rental car or use taxi service around Nikko Walking is not possible at night as it’s very dark Front desk staff are very polite and helpful 👍 Rooms are clean and brightly lit, worth the price and very cosy Enjoyed the pantry with coffee machine No breakfast area but a toaster, coffee machine and some kitchen appliances are ready for use Beds are comfy

Great location, clean room, and very friendly staff. Entrance to the hotel is a bit odd as there is one escalator that sometimes goes up and sometimes goes down, but aside from that it’s great! Would stay there again.
