Located by the roadside, it's very convenient for transportation and has its own parking lot. It's about 3 kilometers from York Minster, making it ideal for those traveling by car. There's no elevator. Food and beverages are available at the hotel all day.

The location is absolutely beautiful ✨ It's right next to the train station, and all the attractions are within walking distance, which is super convenient. The staff were very polite and even let us check in early 👍 Breakfast was good and plentiful. Overall, a great experience, highly recommended!

Great hotel..great prices. Great location..downfalls are some windows don't shut and its cold with heating not always working and no hot water in some rooms

My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights. Checking in felt more tedious than it needed to be and our keys stopped working half way through the stay. We had a nice room with a comfortable bed and it was serviced, which isn't guaranteed these days. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice. The staff were attentive and helpful. I'd stay there again.

It was beautiful and comfortable! There was also a hair dryer! It's far from the center, so you either have to walk or take a bus, but there are a lot of buses, and the roads you walk on look beautiful, so I think it's a good idea.

A very convenient location located within the city centre of York. There are numerous bus stops just located within 3 mins of walking making it very easy to travel to rail station or designer outlet. Moreover, there are numerous groceries such as saintsbury, Tesco and M&S foods. 10mins walk to York minister. It comes with complementary breakfast as well and it has many varieties and delicious. From the room you can overlook the Clifford castle as well.

Deluxe room was clean but very small. Twin beds were inches apart from each other with no room to move further apart. Meals were only adequate, the main courses we had both chosen from the evening menu weren’t available, sold out by 7pm, so we had to select alternatives, which were less than inspiring. Altogether a rather disappointing experience

Harrogate is a small town, largely populated by an older demographic. The hotel itself appears to be a converted old manor house, retaining a traditional architectural style. However, the interior facilities are quite dated.

My experience from entrance to reception was excellent, making me feel instantly at ease. It was clear that all staff members were dedicated and proud of their work, consistently going out of their way to assist guests. The breakfasts were truly wonderful and delicious! I especially want to commend Steve, the breakfast chef, whose outstanding cooking was matched only by his incredibly cheerful smile.

The staff were so very nice, nothing was too much trouble, we arrived with two small dogs and they were treated like royalty, Kim and Maria behind reception and also Maria who served us in the buffet were so nice and even though Maria was off duty (from the buffet in the morning)that evening she helped Kim out when I had a problem with the tv, and they sorted a new one out straight away.   We fully intend to use the hotel again next time we are traveling that way.
