My stay at Hotel Continental Forum in Sibiu, Romania, was an absolute gem of an experience. 🏨 Nestled in the heart of this charming Transylvanian city, the hotel's location was a perfect blend of convenience and historic charm. The room I stayed in was the simplest so far in the trip, but the service was ok. The service at the front desk and the restaurant was very good. I just felt like something was wrong. I cried here and had an unhappy time. It was quiet, surrounded by sports fields and parks. The water in Sibiu is particularly good, sweet, and free of alkaline water.

Stayed for 2 nights in mid September 2025 in the deluxe double room. The hotel is located near the old town of Sibiu. It is within walking distance to the big and small square. Room was of a good size with a large bathtub and large shower room with toilet. Not suitable though for friends if you plan to use the bathtub, as it is not enclosed. Room has basic amenities, good wifi but no USB charging points. The shower area in the room that I stayed has slanting roof, so not good for tall person to use. No rain shower. Breakfast has much variety and was delicious. The staff were friendly especially the lady who attended to me at the reception. She was all smiles and never fail to greet and have small chats with the guests. I was also able to deposit my luggage after I checked out and returned quite late in the night to take back my luggage, as I had a night train.

Lovely historic hotel in the centre of Sibiu. Great facilities, including parking. An excellent breakfast is included. Rooms are comfortable but a little tired.

The location was decent, being close to the old town - less than 10 mins. There was a little mall across the road and a supermarket just down the road. The bed was firm and did not have a solid base so the bed was not the most comfortable. I will give them props for two towels to use after a shower. The air conditioning worked well for a hot day but a lift was out of action and a fire alarm went off for a mintue or so, but lead to nothing - that latter thing was not really anything to complain (apart from the sirens were LOUD).

Great hotel - Friendly staff and reception - Room was large and clean - Bed was really comfortable and it was a really good sleep - Near to bus stop that can take you to city centre, Promenada Mall and train station - Breakfast had a good variety - Restaurant on the top floor had great views of the Transylvanian idyll of Sibiu - A lot of facilities but did not manage to use all
