Hotel is located outside of the city centre. It takes 5 mins by bus and 25 mins by walk to reach the city centre. The bus stop is nearby. Not much food options near the hotel, only there are KFC and a fish and chips shop. The hotel is clean, room is cleaned every day. Breakfast is English style with same menu every day. The breakfast is served from 7 am which is late as we had to catch coach for daytrip which starts from city centre at 7:30. Though I had booked room with breakfast from Trip.com, the receptionist was asking to book the breakfast again as it seems trip.com doesn't share the breakfast booking with hotel. So receptionist asked to show the proof of breakfast booking which was awkward. Other than this minor issues, overall experience was good.

Guest UserThe hotel is in need of updating and refurb. No free wifi. Furniture is old. That said, the check in was friendly and efficient and all the staff I came across were good to deal with. I had a meal in the bar. Food was fine and a decent size. Breakfast gave enough choice from a continental style buffet. The bedroom was away from outside noise. Just a bit of noise as other guests came and went. Tired bathroom but everything worked. For a one night stopover as a solo traveller it was fine.

Guest UserThis is a genuinely nice hotel sat right on the banks of the River Ness and a few minutes walk from the center of Inverness. Our room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast had a good range of choices and was delicious. The staff were polite and friendly and were very happy to fuss over my small child!

Really great Hotel. Cheapest around as well so don’t really get when people book cheap hotels and complain that it’s not 5* 😂. Location is amazing. The Loch is beautiful. Staff are really nice. Rooms have everything you need and are quite spacious. Food is really good although a wee bit expensive but still good sized portions.

It's quite far, and it took more than half an hour to drive to Inverness. I was very satisfied with the hotel on this trip. It was like an ancient castle. I heard that many weddings are held here. The hotel is full of beautiful lights and stills of Charlie Chaplin. I also bought a beautiful window display in the hotel. I walked along the backyard of the hotel to the town and accidentally participated in the worship of local residents.

Perfect airport hotel and very close to the terminal. I was able to check in for my flight, then return to the hotel for breakfast. Warm, comfortable, and very convenient.

This hotel was the perfect base for traveling The Isle of Skye! Check in was easy, there were lots of parking (some close, some far), coffee and breakfast had some selections, we had dinner at the hotel too and it was great. It says that there might not be warm water at all times, but we had warm water every time we showered with great water pressure! This was an affordable and easy place!

Guest UserFor what we paid for the night including Breakfast we were over the moon! Great location, staff very efficient and friendly, breakfast was lovely with great selection of cereals, fruit etc followed by full breakfast of the usual trimmings warm and tasty!
The room was on the small side but that’s what we booked and paid for so it wasn’t a surprise. Everything we needed was provided and the room was warm when we checked in. Lovely modern bathroom!
Our only “negative” was the mattress, it was very firm and may suit some people but not us. Otherwise we would have gave top marks!!
The young gentlemen in charge of breakfast during our stay were very attentive.

Guest UserThe hotel has a great location with beautiful views, including a lovely lake view, which was definitely one of the highlights of the stay.
However, the hotel itself feels quite old, and the room was small, basic, and could have been better maintained. The cleanliness and overall upkeep were average, and there were not many amenities provided. It felt more like a simple room suitable for a short one-night stay rather than somewhere I would choose for a longer visit.
The hotel does offer room upgrades, but these come at an additional cost of £25 per room per night, which is something to consider.
Overall, it was an average stay — not bad, but not particularly impressive either. The location is the strongest point, but the rooms and facilities could benefit from improvement.

My Mum and I stayed here for a night, we wanted something special and we had a lovely experience! This hotel may be old but I felt that was part of the charm, especially because you can pick up a paper at the desk which tells you all about the history of it (including how Mae West had a room there!).
The man at reception was lovely, as were the bar staff, and we had a great sleep in a cozy, nicely themed room with a great bathtub. My Mum especially appreciated the Bible being left in the bedside table as well. That may have been done by a guest but it was nice that the staff left it there nonetheless in case somebody wanted to read it. There were a number of little touches like that, and we had a garden view which was lovely.
Also the breakfast was included in our booking, and well worth it! I'd recommend this stay for anyone looking to have a nice night in the Scottish countryside!
