Stayed here with last min booking. My rooms was too hot that time so I just open the window. For those whi want to stay here I suggest prepare small cabin lugggage instead of bring all the lugggae to the room if you got the 1st floor room. Because you need to use the stairs Anyway this hotel has a pretty decoration for the Christmas They dont provide any amenities. And you need to pay for it. As most of the Northern Europe hotel

I am so glad to stay at Thon Hotel. All the staff are very friendly, breakfast is varied and delicious. The room is clean and tidy. Most importantly, my family saw the Northern Lights right in front of the hotel. Super excited! I will definitely stay at Thon Hotel again in the future.

Das Hotel und die Ausstattung ist schon etwas älter, aber das ist wirklich kein Problem, denn: Die Zimmer sind groß, die Betten sind breit, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Frühstücksbüffet ist groß und lecker! Ein Restaurant gab es im Hotel nicht, aber fußläufig sind einige gut bewertete Restaurants erreichbar. Der Parkplatz liegt hinter den Haus. Leider gibt es dort keinen Zugang zum Hotel und man muss das Haus umrunden um hinein zu kommen

We saw the Northern Lights on our very first night, which took all the pressure off the rest of our trip – it was absolutely beautiful and magical! If you can only pick one hotel in Kirkenes, this is definitely it. It's the departure point for King Crab fishing tours, and many tourists even take a bus here just to join them.

Très correct pour le prix. Kirkenes n'étant pas bien grand, tout est accessible à pied. Pas d'ascenseur pour 3 étages mais un monte-charge très pratique pour les bagages. Au rez de chaussée, restaurant chinois très bon, le Shanghai. Pièce-cuisine à l'étage. Photo du monte charge et du jour de ma fenêtre, à 02h00 ..

The hotel is very well located, and it allows you not to take the car to go to a few courses or to the shopping centre. The staff is warm and serviceable (particularly the restaurant's room manager who was present at 31/01 in the morning). The breakfast is more than right ! The bedroom is very warm and the bathroom is warm ! The small bemol is a little heard of the room neighbors!

Location was good. Our rooms were ready early. It was quite busy so the lift was constantly busy and packed with people and suitcases so be prepared to use the steps which were fine. Hotel staff helped book us a larger taxi for the airport. The room was spacious but there were elastics and other garbage left in the bathroom from previous guests when we arrived.
