The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre, in the heart of the city centre. The coffee is very bad, unforgiving in Portugal and in a establishment of this level.
Extensive work being carried out meant noise throughout the hotel.
Every time we needed reception we had to wait for staff to return.
On the plus side, the restaurant staff were excellent.
Hotel facilities are good, the food is quite satisfactory, the service is average, the staff is generally cold, and overall the price is relatively high.
Facilities: On a hill, the environment is very good and the equipment is very good
Hygienic: very clean
Breakfast: very good
Service: The front desk is particularly enthusiastic and responsible! Great!
Because my car had a problem with google navigation, I took it to a small mountain road. At night, because of the tension and there were trees on one side, the glass on the right front was broken! The front desk helped contact the car rental company and described my situation in Portuguese! Since I had local insurance, the rental company arranged for a trailer to handle it and arranged for a taxi to take us to Porto airport to change!
It was a pleasant experience. We loved the hotel; it's not new, but the facilities are good, the pool area is very pleasant, and the view is simply breathtaking.
The staff is super friendly, helpful, and attentive.
Breakfast was included, and it was quite good.
We ended up having dinner both days during our stay, and it was a pleasant experience.
It's worth checking out and returning.
The Hotel reached the expectations it had, as I already knew the development and maintain the quality of service and facilities.
Regarding the price, the value presented by Trip was extremely competitive in relation to the other agencies for the same service conditions, and even in relation to the price that would be charged by the Hotel itself in a direct booking (which I cannot understand...).
The breakfast provided was of excellent quality and quantity.
The service was excellent, with all employees in service at the hotel in these 2 days of friendliness and efficiency far above average.
However, I was a little disappointed that the Trip agency had not yet sent me an Invoice for the amount paid. The only certainty that I have that the payment was made, was given to me by the Hotel receptionist who told me that the rooms were paid for, but that he could not issue me an Invoice as the payment had been made to the Agency - which is natural !). In this situation, the lack of an Invoice was very unpleasant because I booked and paid for 3 rooms (for us and 2 other couples friends) and until now I don't have any proof of payment to ”do the math” with them.
We loved our stay here. The hotel was right in the heart of the village. An older style boutique property with legitimate old world charm. If you are planning to visit this area, I would not hesitate to recommend this property!

AAnonymous UserPleasant stay in this hotel. It is designed in a quite modern and stylish way coming with good amenities. Breakfast was sufficient for me (as I’m usually not a big breakfast eater). All the staffs were helpful and friendly. Only the con is that I encountered their argument scenes twice in a row, in a same day… you don’t want to see or hear loud arguments by employees first in the morning at breakfast, 7am! Please be more mindful of the guest and do not show it. I didn’t feel good about it, so I cannot give full 5 stars, otherwise I liked the stay and would love to come back.
CCaGirlWe stayed 3 nights at this hotel and enjoyed our stay very much. The people at the reception were very nice and our room was clean and comfortable and had a view of the park. The hotel bar was really nice too, I had the best Irish Coffee! We didn't eat in the restaurant for dinner but we had our breakfast there every morning, they had a very nice selection of items. The hotel is in a great location in the city and Viseu is also a very nice city.
GGuest UserBeatiful house with nice comfortable rooms, a super nice living room for spending the evening . Good breakfast and a nice, clean pool. Big garden with grapes and olive trees, kiwi and qrapes on top of the parking lot. Enough parking space. Definitely worth a visit during your douro valley tour. Some nice restaurants to visit in the small towns nearby. Tasty wine from own production and very friendly owners
GGrace GraceThe hotel is beautiful, located in their own vineyard. You can also participate in their own wine tour and wine tasting. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant are of a high standard. Breakfast is included in the price and dinner is not expensive. Our group of 6 ordered the menu menu with wine pairing, and we were almost full. Two of us lived in a large wine barrel, which was fun but a bit small (especially after seeing other people ’s rooms contrasted), and there was a short walk to get back to the hotel ’s building, so if It is not recommended for children or elderly people.
GGuest UserLovely hotel and very nice welcome. Old style but very special. Dinner was a little disappointing but breakfast was excellent. We recommend to stay here as it has a very special atmosphere and is worth the experience. Beautiful lands and gardens also to be seen and walked

AAndreiaThe views from the hotel are incredible. It is located in a quiet area, with great views but is far from everything.
Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Sheets were dirty with hair.
Breakfast also. For a 4-star hotel there should have been more variety and fresh bread, because the bread didn't seem to be fresh. They should replace the food, since there were no longer any fruits and other things.
The price is excessive at the pool bar.
Otherwise, everything was impeccable. Very beautiful hotel
GGuest UserExtensive work being carried out meant noise throughout the hotel.

AAnonymous UserThe spa is excellent & staff super friendly. Easy to park and in a great location. The restaurant is definitely worth eating at in the evening and breakfast is also very good!
GGuest UserThe hotel is a 5* hotel quality. From comfort, food, cleaning and service. This is especially for the children of the reception and service in the pool. Super good water and the comfort that is located in the hotel is to be grateful.
