POS: very central location 50 mtr from ****** and beach; historical building with old charm; quite big but with a family atmosphere; (my) room recently renovated; pleasant bar area; quiet; considering location reasonably priced.
NEG: elavator super slow, tiny and shaky at times (7 floors); bathroom good but shower itself clumsy; staff could use some extra training > in 4 days' stay there was always something not done or missing, and worst of all in spite of plenty of mgmt messages to save energy, in 2/4 days we came back late night and aircon had been switched on (by staff, not us), on a day it was barely 20 degrees, meaning complete waste of energy, and cost.
A very Cosy hotel right in the old city centre. Staff members are so nice to put chocolate bars in my allocated room as birthday gift as I check in on my bday.
Beware there are rooms with wooden logs that may not be acceptable by some tourists. Some rooms are on G/F or underground floors which you may need some psychological preparation.
In a word, a very good hotel with professional staff and excellent location to go everywhere
The reception staff at the hotel were very warm and friendly and took the initiative to introduce me to where there was a fitness center and swimming pool, restaurant, beach, etc.
There is a spinach center on the first floor of the hotel. There is a restaurant in it.
It was a very pleasant and cozy hotel. The check-in is at the bar around the corner. The shared bathroom is used by 3 rooms on the floor which is not too bad. The location is great as well - close to the train station and about 1 km from the city centre and the area around the hotel is very nice and clean as well. Would definitely stay here again
Very nice hotel from the 30iger-Jahren. Friendly, solution-oriented and advanced staff. Top location. Beautiful large rooms. Because the age of the hotel has its pieces. Partly you can't open the nice large windows and it is very ringhorse. We were there two nights and could sleep very badly because of a large group of young athletes (a football tournament took place), who were constantly celebrating in the room. The hotel management has apologised in all its forms to us and explained that despite security operations, they could not better manage the situation. In conclusion! We very much recommend the hotel.
Nice hotel on the edge of the centre of Brugge. The room at the fourth floor was very small, on the other hand it has everything, only a little strange that you could not douche standing. You must be in the bathroom because the shower tub is stuck in the bathroom and the height above the bathroom is just a meter high.
This place is a summer resort in Belgium with an oversized casino next to it. The hotel breakfast is very good, the rooms are small, and the hotel as a whole is small and very warm. The hotel does not have a parking lot. There are parking spaces in front of the door and in the small street next to it. There is a parking fee. The fee is not paid from 20:00 to 9:00 the next day.

Very Good
GGuest UserI picked this hostel for its location and reviews online. In general, I say that it is good. There are some small things that could be improved in terms of quality and overall building maintenance like updating bunk beds and sound proofing.
As for service and amenities, I felt the staff communicated well and supplied sufficient offerings especially about what to do and where to go.
I was happy to know that they do bike rentals at an affordable price and locker storage.
Only suggestion I would have is to provide bikes that are more suitable for longer distances if you suggest riding up to the coast or visiting Netherlands. While the city cruisers bikes are suitable for strolling around on cobble stones inside of Bruges, they are not so nice for longer rides (at least for me) and can make for some heavy slow cumbersome riding. I enjoyed the cycling trip to the north and was amazed by the beauty, nature and farmland heading toward the coast but the bike really made it less comfortable. I kept aching for a simple single speed road bike the entire time 🫠.
Just food for thought😌 Otherwise, I was pretty happy with my trip to Bruges. I came by train frim Liége and felt it was worth the trip.
Thank you so much for your hard work and effort.
RRisakoThe window of the room was broken and the receptionist was willing to change the room. I appreciate that as the expected temperature was low in the following morning. We could sleep well with enough warmth! Thanks a lot!
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a safe area, about 15 minutes walking distance from the train station. It is not in a pedestrian area, there are streets around where you can leave your car for those who come by car. It is 5 minutes walking distance from the lively market of Bruges. The location is very nice. The building is a historical building, the lobby area, the breakfast area and the bar are ***et enjoyable

GGuest UserJust back from a weekend in Bruges and I can't recommend the Hotel Bryghia highly enough. It's in a great location - just far enough out of the centre to be blissfully quiet and but less than 10 mins walk from the Market Square and Belfry. Right next to a beautiful canal and bridge. It was the perfect balance of an old building but with modern facilities. The bed was so comfortable, we had the best night's sleep. We were welcomed by the very warm, friendly owner, and by some Belgian chocolates in our room! The map and local knowledge he shared were priceless. We are already planning to visit again in the Summer and will definitely book the Bryghia.

MMarcHoSpent at this nice lil cosy white place for 3 nights. It was hassle-free, clean and spacious room. Located at the heart of the Market Square but fret not about the lively place cuz it was at this quiet end corner of the street. Hence, you will have a peaceful rest. Just next to it rested the 'Adriaan Coffeebar' where they served freshly brewed coffee and pastries. Further across the street was this Argentinian steak place called 'Churrasco Argentino Steakhouse' where you will get one the best steaks imo. They have lunch set at a lower price tag but also comes with a smaller portion if you have a small stomach.
GGuest UserThe hotel itself is stunning, and the staff couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. However, the room had a couple of minor issues. The shower head wouldn’t stay centered, causing water to spill onto the bathroom floor. Additionally, the hair dryer malfunctioned, turning on and off randomly. Since I was only staying one night, I didn’t request a room change, but it was inconvenient. Despite these issues, I would stay here again because the main hotel facilities and staff were excellent.
KKiaraliuThe hotel breakfast is great. The style and texture of the hotel are excellent. Although the soundproofing of the room may not be very good, it does not have much impact. It is located near the old town and can reach the most lively places on foot. The service staff are also very nice. If you need a kettle, you can ask the service staff for it.
