Absolutely stunning view. Cabin was older but very charming, we made the most of the fireplace in the room and enjoyed a view of the lake from our balcony. Bathroom was clean with everything we needed. Coffee also provided in the room which was nice. I read the beds were uncomfortable on other reviews and I’d partially agree - not the best but again not the main reason or expectation for visiting emerald lake. I will say the pillows were extremely thin and uncomfortable.  Staff were very friendly and attentive. Shuttle service was easy. Restaurant was pricey but overall good. No wifi or signal in the room is something to be aware of, but heightened the experience in my opinion. Overall, great!

It is an Ok hotel for the price. One should not expect much. It is located in Vancouver suburb, I booked it only because was planing to head to Whistler early morning. Unless you need access to something in North Vancouver, like Cypress mountain, it is in the middle of nowhere. The hotel is motel style, so the entrance to the room is from the street. The rooms are basic and a bit outdated but large enough and clean. Free breakfast is a plus!

Hotel is nice and clean, the location is central and close to anything you might need. Best bang for buck hotel I’ve stayed at with breakfast included. Beds could be softer but the pool was greats for the kids and slide was a huge hit.

Overall the location of the hotel and the room being clean; however, there were some drawbacks from our experience. One drawback was the hotel had a scheduled power outage which we never were given ample notice on. When we arrived we were asked if we got an email advising of the power outage and we advised that we received no such email. The day of the outage everything attached to the hotel was shut off except for one elevator for each tower, and all the restaurants within the facility. Had we known prior to arrival we could have may have decided to stay elsewhere for the one night. No compensation offered. The ****** remained open during the outage but restrooms had no water(very unsanitary) The food court pizza was terrible and the breakfast sandwich did not have much flavour. The buffet was average but had a nice view of the Frazer River.

I recently stayed at the Courtyard Nanaimo and had a lovely experience. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with good coffee facilities—a nice touch to start the day. The location was perfect, close to the seaside and many great restaurants, making it easy to explore the area. The only downside was that parking wasn’t free, which was a bit disappointing. There was also a payment error where my card was charged multiple times, but the hotel handled it professionally and issued a quick refund, which I appreciated. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would happily return! 4/5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (would have been 5/5 with free parking!)

It’s a beautiful hotel and is located at Downtown. The area is safe and is surrounded by a lot of restaurants and cafe. The room is spacious but the bathroom is with aglass door which means there is lower privacy. The apples they offer at the reception are very tasty!

It’s my first Best western in few decades. Pleasantly surprised by the modernity and cleanliness. Room is comfortable and compact with all the basic touches and a good layout. The free breakfast was a nice touch. Location is perfect for one night stay to get in and out from the highway.

A nice stay in the Park Inn Hotel. The rooms were clean and tidy. We had a double queen room, which was spacious and had everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located just outside the town. Breakfast was basic but set us up for the day. Water stations are available. Would stay again.

JJanineLBWe visited the hotel for our Duex Days event and overall had a pleasant experience. The valet parking was smooth and professional, and the hotel staff were generally polite and courteous. However, one aspect could be improved: flexibility at check-in. I was running a bit late, so my husband, who shares the same last name and was on the reservation, tried to check in ahead of me. Despite offering to send a photo of my ID and confirming the reservation details, the front desk staff insisted that I had to be there in person. I understand the importance of security, but a bit more flexibility or alternative verification methods would have made the process more convenient and guest-friendly. Aside from that, our stay was enjoyable, and we appreciated the service and atmosphere overall.

VVedanandI had a really great stay at Grand Park Hotel & Suites Downtown Vancouver. What stood out right away was the service. The staff were excellent, quick to respond, and very reliable whenever I needed anything. It made the whole experience feel smooth and stress-free. The facilities honestly exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. Everything felt well-maintained and comfortable, so it definitely felt like great value for money. I also have to mention the food. It was genuinely delicious, with good quality ingredients and generous portions. That was a pleasant surprise and added a lot to the overall stay. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for comfort, good service, and solid value in downtown Vancouver.

MMikki LizMy friend and I liked this place, but there are a few things that really need improvement. First, there’s basically no security. Anyone can walk into the building and access any floor without a key card, which doesn’t feel safe at all. Second, the breakfast situation was frustrating. I went up to the 25th floor for breakfast and asked the receptionist if I could bring some food back to my room. She said she didn’t know and told me to ask the kitchen. When I went in, a staff member explained the food options to me, and I asked if I could just take a small portion like some scrambled eggs and potatoes back to my room on a small plate. She said no and that everyone has to eat there. Then I just ubereats some breakfast for us. When I checked out, the receptionist asked if I got my food. I said no and I told her they didn’t allow me bring food to my room, she also suggested “Maybe next time you can bring your own plate from your room.” Honestly… seriously? 😅😅😅 Also, when I booked my room (King Studio), I specifically requested a quiet room away from the elevators. However, when I arrived, I realized my room was right next to the lifts, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the staff member named Menaka at the ground floor during check-in was very helpful and nice. Parking was $20 overnight, which is cheaper than most hotels in Canada (usually around $28–35), so that was a plus. The elevators are high-tech, but since there’s no key card restriction, anyone can access any floor. It feels like strangers could easily reach your room, which is concerning. On the bright side, the place is clean and very quiet at night. Compared to many hotels in Surrey that are close to the SkyTrain or have constant noise from traffic and police sirens, this location is much more peaceful and doesn’t have that issue.

GGuest UserThe hotel staff are very helpful. I always leave bags when I’m away skiing for the week. Checked in quickly. Rooms are big, immaculately clean, quiet and have v comfy beds. They are also nicely decorated. Got coffee machine, fridge, microwave & good wifi. Breakfast is pretty good. Got some fresh fruit, decent scrambled eggs, yoghurt and porridge if wanting more healthy options. It has a pool which is nice. Hall decor is now a bit dated and could do with being re-decorated.

Jjj1234567The hotel was very clean, and the room facilities were well-equipped, plus breakfast was included. The downside was that the elevators had issues during my stay; one was out of order, and the other was very slow. On the last day, that one also broke down, forcing some guests, including myself, to carry our luggage down the stairs.
