GGuest UserStayed here alone to watch the Bundesliga table tennis match with Fan Zhendong. Many fans coming for the matches stay here, as do a lot of local Germans, because the location is super convenient, right near the train station. Breakfast is included. The room is indeed very small; there's no desk or anything. There are just two small bedside tables to put your phone on and charge it. Basic toiletries and slippers aren't provided – is that how it is in Germany? What I disliked most about my stay was the lack of a main light; the room was really dark. I had to adjust the direction of the bedside spotlights to make the room a bit brighter. Everything else was great. I also didn't encounter the issue some people mentioned about not being allowed to store luggage; I stored my bags on both arrival and departure mornings. The front desk staff were very friendly. I'd choose this place again next time I come for a match.
PPapornKThe hotel is situated in a relatively remote area, and I selected it primarily because it offers a car charger and is priced reasonably at around 100€ per night, including breakfast.
I have found the hotel to be exceptionally clean, and the staff members are quite welcoming and attentive.
The room is spacious enough for my needs as I only utilize it during the night. While air conditioning is not a common feature in Germany, a small fan is provided; however, it tends to be somewhat noisy. I shared this feedback with the staff.
An inside pool with sauna is also very welcoming. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time for that.
Overall, I believe it is a commendable local hotel that offers a solid experience.
GGuest UserI stay here every time I come to Saarbrücken. The privileged room I booked this time was very good and very cost-effective. Drinks and snacks are provided, the room is large and the bed is comfortable. It's a few hundred meters walk from the train station, so it's very convenient to go anywhere.
AAnonymous UserThe location is decent, about a 15-minute walk from the train station. The room is a bit small, but a great perk is getting a free transportation card for the duration of your stay. The hygiene and cleanliness are also good.
ZZhiainingmengshuThere are quite a lot of rooms in this hotel, which can be said to be the largest hotel in this town. The heating in the room is very warm. The room I live in also has a microwave, induction cooker, refrigerator, and everything. Breakfast is quite satisfactory, except for potato cakes and scrambled eggs are hot food, the rest are cold food. The front desk girls can speak English and there is no problem communicating. The cleaning staff can speak German. I like the glass windows of the hotel very much. It is the kind of typical German open window and the ventilation is great. The surrounding area is quite convenient. Go left and there are some shopping malls and small stores. Except that the breakfast is slightly monotonous, everything else is fine.
AAnonymous UserSuper friendly staff. Rooms are pretty big and in a good condition. Everything seemed luxurious. Also it was a LGBTQIA+ Friendly Hotel :). I can only recommend it
GGuest UserI recently stayed at this simple, functional hotel. The location was its biggest strength. It is just a short distance from the French border and convenient for getting into the Saarland. The hotel itself is exactly what you'd expect from a basic spot. The room is clean and comfortable with great bed. One minor element is the busy noisy road.
GGuest UserDelightful welcome - made to feel at ease. Spotless room with balcony: plenty of space. Bottle of water waiting.
The nearest thing to a niggle is that I prefer a hard mattress, but I realise that I am in a minority…
Superb breakfast - as good as any I have enjoyed.
