Overall, I'm quite satisfied. The staff member (a young man) had a great attitude. He proactively informed me that if I ran out of bottled water, I could get more for free at the front desk, and even gave me a small welcome gift. It's my first time seeing a hotel provide facial tissues, and the towels were individually wrapped, which is a nice touch. I'd definitely recommend it!

The location is convenient because there is a mall across the road, and there are many street snacks to the east and north. The staff were all informative and efficient. Breakfast was fine, and the room was comfortable and quiet

I stayed here for a night on my way back to Beijing from the south after Chinese New Year, checking in on the first workday after the holiday. I chose this hotel within the ancient city because I wanted to explore it. The facilities, amenities, and service were all good. They offer free parking (though spots are tight, it's great to have parking available inside the ancient city at all!). The breakfast was also excellent, with local specialties that meant I didn't have to go out to find food. The last picture is of the Drum Tower, taken from the hotel's fourth-floor terrace – it looks like a great spot for late-night snacks in the summer. My only minor disappointment is that I booked this hotel specifically because I saw photos of the Drum Tower night view in the reviews and purposely chose a room with an unobstructed view. However, upon check-in, I found my window overlooked the back parking lot… As a quality customer who loves writing detailed reviews, I really missed the chance to give this hotel an absolutely glowing review! 😄

As the first stop on our trip, I have to say Henan's tourism efforts are truly impressive. This hotel, our first stay, far exceeded our expectations. The room was great and quite comfortable, making for a very pleasant experience. The front desk staff were all very welcoming, and even the attendant managing parking at the entrance was incredibly responsible and enthusiastically guided us on where to park and how to charge our car. There's a shopping mall nearby, and it's close to all the main attractions.
The breakfast buffet especially deserves a mention; you can find local specialties like Hu La Tang (spicy soup) and beef soup. Next time I'm in the area for a deeper dive, I'll definitely be staying here again! 😎
My last stop in Luoyang was such a pleasant surprise! The butler-style service made me feel meticulously cared for the moment I walked in.
I booked a courtyard hot spring room, and it just so happened to be snowing heavily in Luoyang. Soaking in the hot spring indoors while enjoying the snowy courtyard view was absolutely blissful!
The breakfast was a mix of buffet and à la carte. The à la carte dishes were incredibly well-prepared! I ordered the eggs Benedict and waffles, and they were super delicious! Even the fruits served with the waffles were fragrant and sweet, which really shows the hotel's high standards for quality.
Plus, the hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the station, which was a huge convenience for me traveling with luggage and a child!

My stay at Huayang this time really gave me a taste of Luoyang's hospitality – it was incredibly warm! They offered station pick-up and drop-off, complete with small gifts (for pick-up, there were warm towels for your hands, tea, and snacks in the car). The driver even shared stories about Luoyang's history, attractions, and tips on what to see and where to eat along the way (give that driver a raise! 🍗).
As soon as the car stopped at the hotel entrance, staff members were already there to help with luggage and bags, leading the way to check-in. The hospitality was just amazing! ❤️ Again, warm towels, tea, and a small gift (a hand-drawn map, phone stand, and wet wipes) were provided. The butler then escorted me to my room, explaining all the facilities, and mentioning that snacks, treats, fruits, and even late-night supper could be ordered via QR code (available every 4 hours).
The hotel's location is excellent, right across the street from Changshen International (Dazhang) and Wanda Plaza (with Freshippo). I heard they often have sales competitions.
The breakfast spread was very generous, featuring beef soup, tofu soup, Peony Swallow Vegetable dish, braised noodles, and spicy soup, among other things.
The Chinese restaurant on the second floor was also quite good 👍.
Some of the in-room equipment might be a bit dated, but the staff were always quick to resolve any issues you brought to their attention.
I'll definitely be back next time. Thank you to the Huayang staff, especially the young man at the entrance who bowed from afar.

A special thanks to Ms. Carol for letting me be one of the first to experience the room cards featuring the 'Welcoming Pine'. In China, it's generally frowned upon for someone to rest without a clear purpose, but a few days of transit rest is usually tolerated by society. I was able to steal two days away from my social obligations, arriving at the hotel just a ten-minute walk from the high-speed train exit. The breakfast selection was decent, but the different sections were a bit spread out; perhaps adding more signs would help with identification. Due to strong winds, I opted for dinner at the Banyan Pavilion restaurant, and the desserts were absolutely stunning. Any small issues I raised were always addressed thoroughly and promptly. During my stays, there were always conferences and events happening daily, so their business services must be quite robust. Overall, it's a place where you can escape and relax for a few days, exceeding expectations.

This is our second stay here with the kids, and the service is consistently excellent. The facilities are complete, clean, and tidy. The breakfast was different from last time, with a wider variety of choices. This is definitely our first choice when visiting Zhengzhou.

The room is comfortable, spacious and clean. The curtains, lights and air - conditioner are linked to Xiaodu smart devices, which is very convenient. The super king size (2 - meter - wide) big bed is really cozy. An adult and two kids can sleep comfortably on it, offering a great experience.
We arrived at 1 a.m. Parking was convenient and free. After shopping at Pangdonglai Supermarket, you can push the trolley straight to the hotel elevator. It's worth recommending.
As there was a long queue at Pangdonglai Supermarket, I called the hotel's customer service. The hotel kindly gave us a free late check - out until 2 p.m. It's really nice and definitely worth a recommendation.

There are two bath towels in the family room, but no bath towel for children. It is recommended to add a non-slip mat in the shower room. There is no footstool for children to wash their faces and brush their teeth in the toilet. The hygiene can be quite clean, but the sound insulation is not very good. At 1 o'clock in the middle of the night, I heard a girl from an unknown room arguing with others. She has no manners at all.

GGuest UserThis is a fantastic hostel! The beds are spacious, and in my four-person dorm, everyone was pretty quiet, with no long-term residents. The mattress, pillow, and duvet were all quite comfortable. The check-in service was excellent; staff members guide you to your room and introduce all the common areas. Overall, the cleanliness is good, with over a dozen stalls in the restroom and plenty of shower cubicles.
It's about an eight to ten-minute walk from the subway station. Both A1 and A2 exits of Zhouwangcheng station work, but A1 has a downward escalator, which is convenient for your return trip, and it's right across the street from A2.
Minor drawbacks: In the women's shower room at night, water tends to pool near the sinks, so you often accidentally step into a puddle. Also, the restroom might have some sewage odor coming up.
And some people actually don't flush the toilet after using it – that's just rude! 😅
GGuest UserWonderful lil place, within the city walls. Great service!!! The reception was very friendly and helpful at all times! We loved our little stay!!! Was able to do laundry which was a big plus!!! There is a aunty that is very friendly and helpful too!! Location is perfect (except you need to walk in as cab cannot take you into the city wall, but it was worth it!), otherwise day to day basis it was the best location!!! Overall we loved our stay and if we are back in Luoyang will definitely be back here to stay!!!
NNatalia FndzWe had the absolute best time here! The hosts were incredibly kind and made sure we felt truly taken care of throughout our stay. Breakfast was always delicious — and vegetarian, which was a huge plus for my husband since he doesn’t eat meat.
Before our trip, I had asked if they could help me arrange a small birthday surprise for my husband, and they went above and beyond. They got us the cutest cake, and it made the day extra special — we were so touched.
The room was spacious, spotless, and had plenty of storage, so it never felt cluttered. We also appreciated the room service and bottled water, which made everything even more comfortable. The room was so spacious we were able to practice yoga in the room at the same time!
The location couldn’t be better — just a one-minute walk to the geopark bus stop and ticket office, and equally close to snack street and local shops. Truly perfect!
Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This lovely family really goes the extra mile to care for their guests. I’ll be recommending this place to everyone I know!
Thank you so much for everything!
GGuest UserAll in all we are quite satisfied with our short stay. We haven't used any of the hotel amenities like swimming pool or restaurant, so it's impossible to comment upon them. However, we'd like to say thank you to the stuff that is available any time. It turned out that one faucet didn't work properly and we only found it out at around 11 p.m. We called service number and the problem was solved within 10 minutes. One more pleasant thing is the pillow menu) The beds are generally very comfortable (unlike in many other Chinese hotels), but you still can choose an orthopedic pillow to your liking. That was very nice! Location is good (around 15 min to the mountain park entrance and to the bus station).
Unfortunately, we are not very happy with the view. (It was a mountain view room). Yes, we saw a pagoda and the mountains, but also the construction site right below our windows. Workes started their day at around 7 a.m., which was clearly heard in our room. In addition, there's some soft music constantly playing in the corridor. Definitely not for those who are sensitive to extra sounds.

AAnonymous UserThe place is small yet so warm and aesthetic. When we first stepped in, we are greeted warmly by the owners and were given a bucket of sweet oranges.
We choose the double tatami bedroom, the place is clean and comfortable, it also has a sizeable living area with sofa and water dispenser/boiler.
The lady owner is so kind, she helped us in planning our trip to shaolin temple, hailed a taxi for us and inform the driver to make sure the driver would send us to the correct place. She really went extra miles.
We are truly blessed by our short stay here.
MM2gw3u6n3****The environment is especially good, and the night view from the terrace is fantastic. Everything else was perfect, except for the lack of activities at Yingtiangate for New Year's Eve. I really love Luoyang; I wore Hanfu and ate at Xiaojie Tianfu. It was super great! I'll definitely come again next time.
巴巴黎beautyI absolutely cannot tell you how much I loved this hotel. If you can believe it I think it might have been the highlight of our trip so far. We were picked up at the station by a car, and taken to the hotel. On arrival Feng Yi, the bellboy provided us with warm towels and tea whilst we checked in. We were on the 17th floor, facing the peony plaza. The room was spacious, and with water, tea, fruit and even bags of candies, as a personalised note welcoming us. Then as if it could get any more lovely at night we were provided with yogurt and Li tang before bed. The breakfast was wonderful and diverse.
My only point to note, and this is really something we have noticed on this trip to China, is that very few staff, including the desk staff speak English. Luckily, I was able to communicate through wechat and voice translator.
That said, I speak some Mandarin so that also helped. But the staff we attentive, kind, welcoming, warm and it was thanks to them that we had such a wonderful time in Luoyang.
GGuest UserThe service is superb. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The visitor center staff helped me solve a problem with didi driver who didn't happy because I cancel the trip (I can't accept call because I use foreign card. But I sent him many messages and he didn't reply any of my messages and also the car didn't move, which made me cancel the trip).
Now about the room and the theme park. The room is exactly like I chose from the picture, very chinese ancient style, with courtyard and wooden back door (like you see in cdramas). It feels like you really stay in ancient time.
The theme park program were fun. The big theater show was really cool with many acrobatic moves. And the small theaters like Drama Along the Way and Hundreds Ghost were very exciting. The NPCs have many interaction with visitors, which make it more exciting. I was lucky because the day I play in the theme park the weather was good. The following day was raining all day and many performances unfortunately were cancelled.
