The hotel is a bit old, for example the plaster is coming off the ceiling on the terrace. The management needs to be changed, nobody feels responsible. The housekeeping was very good, tried very hard (I even gave them an extra tip). The staff in the terrace cafe were rather unwilling. The breakfast is definitely not up to the standards of a 5* hotel, old rolls (at least from the day before), old toast, little choice, rather uncaring, but the staff were extremely friendly and tried very hard. The food in general is borderline (room service). At reception I was snapped at by a male employee when I asked a question, that was borderline. The view over Alger is great, however (make sure you book a sea view). The service in the bar on the E floor is also poor, the selection of drinks minimal. The wine is undrinkable. Acceptable for business trips, but I wouldn't spend a vacation in this hotel. Regarding Algeria in general, I would like to say that the people are extremely hospitable and polite, the food (outside) in the restaurants (except for once) is very good and inexpensive, taxis are very cheap, they are just not luxury cars (reminds me of the early days in Dubai in the 90s). A tip for a day trip at the end: Royal Mausoleum of Mauretania, the restaurant next to the mausoleum has wonderful seafood from the charcoal grill.
This is the second time I come, I love..
The staff were very helpful and the rooms were very helpful.
Very comfortable bed ...
If I could stay there all my holidays, especially since the hotel is near the centre of D'Alger... 👌👌
Located in the old city, it is very convenient to buy food, eat and travel. The people nearby are very friendly and greet you when they meet. The room facilities are a bit old and the size is moderate. I don't understand why their shower room baffle is only half done. When taking a shower, the water always spills outside. The wash basin has no cover, which is not very convenient for washing clothes. The breakfast is rich, but mostly sweets. Compared with the hotels near the airport, this one is cost-effective. Overall, the price of hotels in Algiers is expensive.

I was injured on the plane and arrived at the hotel in a wheelchair. He gave me as much support as possible, such as changing rooms and responding to emergency response in the middle of the night. Thank you very much to the staff 々. I will definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I come to Algeria. Thank you very much.
The hotel is expensive, the price is more than one thousand, and the breakfast is also very average. Hahaha. Not worth it, being yelled three times before 12am? Are you afraid that I won't check out or what?
Friendly and helpful staff. However, it was a bit noisy for my taste. The pillows stank of sweat. The amenities have seen better days. The beds are very comfortable, the breakfast is exclusively sweet, and the internet is very good. However, I had a constant headache due to the 5G tower on the roof. 🤯
I had a pigeon nest on the toilet window, which woke me up every day at 4 a.m. They said they would move it somewhere else...but they didn't keep their promise. If you're sensitive to noise and radiation, you should look for another hotel. Otherwise, it was very good for the price.
Un très bel hôtel, un Acceuil très sympathique. Tout est très propre … il faudrait un petit effort sur le petit dej, meme si pour moi ça suffisait . Café croissants pains au chocolat pain ….

Very Good
GGuest UserRoom cleaning service needs to be reviewed, breakfast seemed very limited, orange juice and fruit quickly ran out, you constantly have to ask for refills! Tables are not cleared to allow other people coming down to find clean tables! A blatant lack of staff!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel has a long history and is said to be where the previous king lived. It has been renovated, the design and decoration of each floor are very beautiful, the environment is very good, the bed is big and new, and the view from the balcony is very good and stylish. The service attitude is very good, and there is also a meal delivery service. Breakfast is not bad. Although the toilet occasionally smells a bit, after all, it is a hotel with a history, but I still like it here very much. The only thing that is not perfect is the Chinese restaurant on the first floor. The Chinese food is delicious, and the Beijing soup is delicious. However, the steak and pasta we ordered did not have sauce. We asked the waiter to give us some sauce and took two This time it was very thin soup, I don't know what it is made of, anyway, it is completely different from what we ate before. The waiter may be unhappy, and told us to go to the kitchen to make it ourselves if we are not satisfied. This has reduced the restaurant a lot of points.
RRakhLovely hotel masha Allah - standouts include both the reception staff as well as the restaurant staff who were exceptional with their attentive service.
Restaurant food at Le Grand Bleu was of high quality, we experienced a lovely dinner service and we made sure to thank the head chef who was very friendly as well as the waiters.
The two young male waiters were super friendly and professional, lovely to see. Breakfast service was very good too.
Only thing about the hotel that would have been nicer is if the private bathroom had a bath tub in the Executive/Privilege with sea view and a cooler room during summer months. Still highly recommend this hotel.
KkuewwaiLocation is perfect, room is very clean even though it has some moist smell at the beginning.
Overall facilities were maintained very well.
However, this hotel lacks international power point facilities such as USB charging port and universal plug point.
Others, I am happy.
GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Cheraga and had a wonderful experience.
The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.
The service was excellent, and the staff was consistently attentive and helpful.
I would like to give special recognition to Aziz and Noureddine, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
Their friendliness and professionalism truly stood out. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Algiers.

MMonique KortoefWe have been to the City hotel three times now and we love to stay there. The people who work there are very friendly and helpful and want to give you the best experience. It’s located at a perfect place. Close to a square, stores and the metro. I recommend this hotel if you want a pleasant stay in Algiers in a nice and comfortable hotel.
