Welcomed by the staff to head to the self-serve machine to retrieve the room key. The room is spacious enough if you don't have a large luggage. Amenities such as tea, coffee, facial cleanser, hair oil are available at the lobby.
Good location near the morioka station, just walk the underpass to get across the street.
The price is affordable, and dinner includes all-you-can-eat snow crab and a variety of hot pot dishes, perfect for winter. Better than the dinner at Hoshino Aomoriya.
The three restaurants are connected, with performances in the evening, music at dinner, and shops across the street.
However, for a hotel with this number of rooms, the outdoor hot spring is a bit smaller than expected (it just so happens that the largest open-air pool at Hanamaki Hotel is closed in winter). In addition, there should be more flexible transfer services between the four hotels. The Red Leaf Pavilion is connected to Jiasong Garden, and you have to drag your luggage onto the bus yourself. The service's responsiveness needs to be strengthened. Please understand that we have come from afar and want to experience different hotel styles.
Good place to stay for the price with basic amenities. It's near the station though there's nothing interesting nearby. Need to head to the other side of the station for more food options.
Annual ski holiday, this time to choose the Ambi plateau. Because the price of the snow field hotel is more expensive, there is a hot spring nearby hotel to try. The hotel will arrange a free JR pick-up service, the staff is polite, and help, praise!
The accommodation includes two meals, breakfast is the same every day - set plus a small amount of buffet form - food is provided. And dinner is shabu shabu, charcoal roasted cattle, and the same buried sushi roast is replaced in turn. Beef is Tian Zeniu, personally think that the meat quality is not 10 points excellent, but it is acceptable.
There are hot springs in the hotel, there are two private styles, and the package is not wrong. The only place that is not ideal is far away. If you don't drive by yourself, you have to arrange a shuttle bus to the snow field by the hotel.
The same buried daily breakfast time, dinner time, shuttle bus time needs to be prepared in advance, so you can freely and easily decide what time to eat and what time to go to the snow field and what time to return.
The hotel's service and overall accommodation quality met expectations
There is also exclusive takeaway coffee and free massage chair services for guests.
The surrounding environment and landscape are also very suitable for traveling in autumn
It is also very convenient to reach surrounding attractions from the hotel
The location is good for the family ski holiday with all facilities available for this ski-in/ski-out hotel. The breakfast has a good variety while the dinner options are good especially the Teppanyaki restaurant with the local beef and abalone. The Japanese restaurant was also good with various dishes to choose from. The outdoor onsen at 白樺之湯 really worth the visit after the ski and I’d recommend to enjoy at day time. We have also tried the hotel massage services and it was really good and relaxing! The only thing for improvement is that the room themselves are a bit old and maybe should consider renovations in coming years. The shops have many food and drinks and souvenirs. We also got a big pack of fireworks that we can pay together with kids just outside the hotel on the snow slope.
Overall we enjoyed the stay and the slopes and ski school are magnificent!
It was much cheaper than travel arrangement services in Japan, so I made a reservation through this site, which I usually use when traveling abroad.
I usually use hotels within the prefecture when I use Hokans, but I have used this one far more often, and this was my fourth time.
The selling points of this hotel are its ”good location” and ”high quality breakfast.”
Although it is located in the middle of a main street in the downtown area, it is close to the station, and there are convenience stores, supermarkets, and parking lots nearby.
The breakfast is a typical buffet style, but all four types of curry are delicious, and the use of locally produced ingredients such as yogurt, hittsumi soup, and hitomebore white rice is a great point, and combined with the high cost performance, it is worth noting.
There is no denying that the facilities are old, but they are not unpleasant and I would say that the quality and service are sufficient.
I hope that they will continue to manage this good value for money and high quality.
The location of this hotel is excellent. There is a Lawson downstairs. And there is an entrance from Lawson to hotel. There is also a tunnel going straight to Morika JR station. Services and amenities of the hotel was perfect! There is a lounge which provides free drinks to every guests . I must book this hotel again and again. Thanks for the hospitality.
Good choice for mountain tour, good health, location not far from attractions

GGuest UserThe location is beautiful and the views from the car park assured us we had chosen well. Check in was helpful and all facilities were fully explained at this time, allowing us to book our dining time.
The room was comfortable and traditional; the view, amazing! With an afternoon of sunshine, time was taken to enjoy the view in a temperature controlled setting. There was a beautiful tea set and tea provided along with some complementary snacks and water. The toiletries provided were lovely and I shall certainly be looking to purchase these for my home.
Dinner was a Chinese style buffet, with an excellent selection of dishes. Barbecues for the table and delicious sashimi and hand prepared sushi. Soups, stews, salad and more! To follow was an assortment of cakes and ice creams. Staff were very helpful and polite and the food was filling and delicious. We then retired to the hotel bar where we were again greeted by a lovely member of staff.
Upon return to our room, futons had been prepared and the room made ready for sleep. These were surprisingly comfortable.
Breakfast was also delicious with a huge array of dishes to choose from. Check out was simple and staff were helpful and polite.
I will definitely be returning!

GGuest UserThe room is average and the price is super high. I got up late the next day and missed breakfast time, but the waiter sister immediately prepared a set meal for us, curry rice, vegetable soup, Japanese vegetables, juice, very rich, we eat very full, thank you very much! Toyoko inn is generally very close to the jr station, the room is small, but the price is very high! recommend!

YYoshimasaIn the natural environment surrounded by mountains and forests, the clear stream behind the inn flows gurgling, healing the body and mind.
It is fun to enjoy each of the four hot springs that flow directly from the source, but we especially recommend the deepest hot spring in Japan.
This is a self-propelled natural rock bath ”Shirasaru no Yu”. This is a very rare hot spring. Due to its depth, you can stand up to enter, but it is evenly distributed throughout your body.
It is said that applying hot water pressure can effectively promote blood circulation. The hall also has a nostalgic atmosphere, as if traveling to the past.
The hospitality of the staff is also very attentive. If you have the opportunity to stay in Hanamaki, it is a hotel worth staying in.
TTakahiroIt was a ryokan with a very calming atmosphere.
The landlady and staff greeted us cheerfully. When we passed each other in the hallway, they greeted us with a smile, which made us feel very comfortable and we were able to spend a wonderful time there.
The interior and facilities in the room were a little old, but they didn't seem dirty or broken, and there was no noticeable smell.
And above all, the hot spring was great. I think the hot spring is soft and feels good on the skin. The view was also great, so you could look at it forever. Personally, I was worried about the bugs (horses) in the open-air bath, which is like being in the middle of a forest, but I was relieved to see that there was insecticide available.
We only had breakfast, but it was delicious, with dishes made from Iwate-grown hitomebore apples and wild vegetables.
It's a place I'd like to visit again someday.
GGuyRegularI am a US traveler on business. I have visited Kashoen before and based on my experiences it is the only hotel I will ever stay at in Hanamaki.
The hotel staff are the kindest, most caring, and passionate people I have met at a hotel. The amenities are fantastic, the hotel food is phenomenal, and my stay is always relaxing. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.
There is a nice nature trail nearby with a river that is beautiful as well.
If you are in Hanamaki or are looking for somewhere to enjoy a peaceful weekend at, I suggest Kashoen.
GGuest UserThis time I booked Arts Color, but I actually lived in the main building of the boss's other restaurant Life is Beautful( It should be called Beautiful Life~), the homestay is about10-15 minutes walk from Anbi Ski Resort & Bailu Hot Spring, not too far away, the key homestay dinner seems simple, but super delicious, there is a French restaurant standard, In the morning 8-9 o'clock & afternoon 16-17 there is a free welcome (Anbi Station or Anbi Ski Resort), B1 there is a loan cut wind, just like the size of Yangming Mountain's personal hot spring, but it is really relaxing to soak after skiing the snow. There is also a beautiful and atmospheric API House bread cafe opposite the hotel. There is a ROCKY BBQ restaurant next door. On this night in the countryside, such a store has been counted a lot, because there is really no nightlife here at this night. You can consider going to the Bailu Hot Spring for a soup (open until 23:00). This is a personal trip. The cost of one berth and two meals is NT2100/day. I think it is very good value, it is recommended, I hope that I can visit again not too long.

GGuest UserHotel is around 1km out from Morioka station. Road towards the hotel is really bumpy with a lot of uneven surfaces. If you have heavy luggage or not physically strong enough, I suggest taking a taxi.
the rooms are really spacious and value for its money. It’s very near supermarket, shopping district and right smack in the middle of 2 7-11.
Right around the corner is the morioka castle.
Overall, if you are a light traveller, highly recommend this hotel.
