The hotel is nice and the room was clean (except for the long black hair left all over floor in the bathroom). The breakfast is just a sandwich box, there is no coffee (just instant coffee). I would expect better. The staff is not accommodating and never seems to be in a good mood. I was also asked several times to pre-check online. After the third email reminder, I tried and the system didn’t let me complete it. But you can be sure that when I showed up at the reception that is the first thing they asked. Why don’t you have a QR code? Also, they charge you for lockers. I have never been in an hotel where luggage storage wasn’t complementary. The experience could be different if they improve a few things.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Traveling with our 8-year-old daughter, we were provided with a triple room. Its location is exceptionally convenient, with a dedicated walkway connecting directly to Okayama Station. The room itself was very spacious. We would have loved to try the breakfast, but as we had an early train to Takamatsu the next morning, we couldn't book it. From the smooth check-in process, it was clear this was a well-established, high-star hotel that truly prides itself on its standards.

The staff at the front desk were welcoming and attentive, and communication was seamless. The location is excellent, surrounded by numerous commercial areas, making it incredibly convenient for transportation. The hotel boasts a quiet ambiance and comprehensive, well-maintained facilities.

This is a special hotel! Because it is a tourist attraction! So the location is first-rate, close to the entire tourist area, and within walking distance to Kurashiki Train Station. It takes less than 10 minutes by taxi with luggage. The room was newly renovated and everything was good, except that it was a twin room and the room was a bit narrow, so it felt very cramped to move around and put luggage. But the toilet, washbasin, bathroom, space is very spacious, there is wifi but there is no Youtube, Netflix on the TV, don't be misled by the remote control. Another type of king-size bed room is the one where the washbasin and bathroom are connected together, but the room feels larger and is more convenient. The breakfast is very rich and the food is of high quality. I recommend the milk and hand-made tofu. Did not have dinner in the hotel, so cannot comment on that. Also, this is a really large public bath, with a sento feel, not a hot spring. It is very suitable for those who like slow-paced sightseeing in this area.

The hotel's location is excellent, right by the west exit of Okayama Station, which is super convenient if you're lugging suitcases in the rain. However, the entrance is quite hidden; I actually missed it at first. You go in through the door shown in image two, then take the elevator up to the 5th-floor reception. At the front desk, you can help yourself to toothbrushes, toothpaste, toiletries, coffee, and tea bags. The room is typical Japanese style, not small, and there's enough space to open a suitcase. Even though it's close to the station, it's very quiet, with no noticeable vibrations. You can store your luggage on the day of check-out. It's also really easy to go to Okayama Station for shopping and dining.

A little walk from Okayama station but near AEON mall. There's no English Name of the hotel on site and just go with google map. Check in was fast, starts at exactly 4PM. Breakfast and Dinner are free🫰Room is big for Japanese standard. Stayed for 2 nights as a base for my Kurashiki and Takamatsu itinerary.

The main draw for me was the rooftop onsen; it’s not fancy but it is classic, which is good enough for me. A simple sauna, outdoor onsen, indoor one, cold plunge bath and a shower area. The room itself was compact but efficient and check in/out process was fairly simple. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the Okayama Shinkansen station so it was quite convenient to travel to other sites like Kurashiki Bikan

For cars that didn't fit in the hotel parking lot, there was a parking lot next door. There was a shopping mall across the street, which was very convenient (*´∀`*) The room was clean and comfortable, but the fact that the bed sheets weren't zippered was a bit of a concern since I was staying for several nights. The amenities were excellent and very helpful. I was able to use various shampoos and conditioners, and I felt like I was able to recover from the fatigue of my business trip. Breakfast was delicious ^_^ Please see the photos I've included.

Amazing location (B1 is connected to okayama train station), spacious room, and friendly staff. The breakfast was a set breakfast (few choices available) plus a small buffet. Quite disappointed by the breakfast and the service they provided. We needed to wait a long time for the set. I won't get the breakfast again as there are plenty of options within walking distance. It's quite pricy but worth it if you need to be near the station.

SSHOerinThe location is great, right in the Kurashiki shopping street, so it's super convenient for shopping and dining. The room was spacious enough for a family of three, no problem at all. Breakfast was decent. The onsen (hot spring bath) upstairs was quite nice and not crowded at all. You can also open the window a little bit in the room to air it out, which is a plus!

2207515****Just a 3-4 minute walk from Kurashiki Station South Exit, this hotel has a lovely European resort style. For a Monday, a twin room at only 330 yen is incredible value for money! The room was quite spacious, and the large public bath in the basement was also very roomy, complete with free massage chairs. You can buy tickets for the Ohara Museum of Art at the front desk for 100 yen less than at the entrance. Plus, there's an affordable supermarket right across from the hotel that's open until 11 PM – perfect for grabbing groceries! I bought a bunch of late-night snacks and breakfast for the next day, all for less than 1500 yen.

FFerfer8We are a family travelling with 3 kids so we drive a car, and factored in luggage space. 1) Vessel hotel has hands-down one of the best beds ever! We checked and realised it was a Simmons mattress so the beds really offered us deep & restful sleep!! Love this! 2) The carpark was right outside the hotel so it was super convenient not having to walk up & down diff storeys to take things from car. We returned to hotel ard 10pm on 1 night & there were no more parking lots! We’d have to park at a multi-storey building that was 12mins walk away, which wld have been v convenient. 3) The breakfast was yummy. We went in summer & enjoyed the Barazushi (Okayama special during festivals) & the rice was sweet, salty, flavourful, and delicious with prawn, eggs, eel, lotus roots (see pic). Really yummy! Try it 4) Hotel staff were very helpful! We asked for an extra luggage stand so we wldnt need to bend too low & they brought it immediately. 5) There’s a big supermarket just across the road with cheap groceries that we stocked up on for our road trip. 6) If you intend to drive, this is a highly recommend hotel in Kurashiki!! Wld stay here again! It was great!

SSiren500It's hard to describe... 1. The facilities are old. In addition to the two sockets on the table, there is one at the door of the toilet, and the main point is that you forget to take it away. They sell everything under the concept of environmental protection, water is 100, various vending machines, and toothbrushes and toothpaste are taken downstairs. 2. The bathroom bar is definitely cleaner than in China, maybe because it's old. Anyway, the table and bedspread look a bit uncomfortable. I ordered a big bed, and the bedspread made my butt itch after using it for a while 3. It's far away from Okayama, 20 minutes walk, mainly because the road is bumpy all the way there, it's really not friendly to pull a big suitcase. From the hotel to the nearby dining place is basically equivalent to walking back to the station. Even the convenience store is less than 10 minutes away, which is definitely not the distance to buy water in slippers and coats. 4. I spent a long time looking for the name when I checked in, and I met a wave of business meeting guests. Who said Japan is quiet? If it's a good place, it includes breakfast, and the variety is quite rich. Early in the morning, curry rice, French bread and coffee...

SSimpleTravelerVery nice option for anyone traveling to Naoshima. Right next to the pier and Uno station. It's especially great if you get more budget rooms, as you still get all the amenities while not breaking the bank. They have partner onsen right next to the hotel, in like 100 meters walking distance, inclusive in your stay, which is very nice, though it was a bit overcrowded due to the holidays. The set breakfast is also worth it and is great. May be having a decent coffee/cappuccino option would be improvement, though.
