Hotels With Breakfast in Casablanca-Settat, Morocco

My stay at Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche was extremely disappointing and far below the standards expected from a Accor luxury hotel. Service was unprofessional from check-in, breakfast quality and hygiene were poor, and even simple orders took far too long. Most seriously, personal belongings were taken from my room, and the hotel failed to conduct any proper investigation or provide follow-up despite multiple complaints. Overall, poor management and serious security concerns. I would not recommend this hotel.

This was my first time flying Royal Air Maroc, and I had an overnight layover in Casablanca. Based on reviews, I chose this hotel because it mentioned train access to the city center. Even though navigation didn't show the route, I found the train station a short walk to the left after exiting arrivals. I bought a ticket to Casa Port from the vending machine for 60 local currency. The last train was supposed to be at 9:55 PM, with one transfer. However, the train didn't show up by 10:20 PM. Staff arranged for us to take a bus to the transfer station. From there, it would have been over an hour's walk back to the hotel, so we waited another 40 minutes on the bus before it finally took us to Casa Port. It was then a 30-minute walk back to the hotel. I wouldn't recommend walking that far at night, especially alone or for women, as I felt the area might not be very safe. So, I opted for an Uber to the airport the next day, which cost 330 local currency, avoiding any haggling with taxis. The hotel itself was nice, and breakfast was good. The next morning, I walked to see the Hassan II Mosque and some nearby attractions. I think more information about transportation options would be helpful.

I. Toilet seat loose and flimsy 2. Shower spills the water doesn’t work properly 3. No exhaust fan to evaporate the steam 4. Receptionist or all staff speak English like talking to stray dogs. Should learn some manners when addressing clients if they aren’t familiar with English in general. 5. The Sky hotel restaurant staff were absolutely helpful. 6. Morning breakfast was a feast outstanding with variety of dishes. 7. Shuttle services excellent. 8. No room heating systems. Didn’t go with an intend to take pictures.

I had a 22 hours layover so I booked it for it's location/airport shuttle service, but amenities are kinda lacking, Room doesn't offer slippers, so after showers I had to be bare footed (I had sneakers traveling) , no coffee/tea either. breakfast is very basic, no scrambled eggs, only hard-boiled without soy sauce, it's plain. the ham without much meat... anyway, for the price, it's on the low end. One incident, when I came back from my city tour, my card wouldn't work for the room even though I am well within check-out time, it's quickly resolved. The upsides are, staffs are friendly and eager to help! So overall, it's a 3 star out of 5.

A beautiful hotel, well designed and well placed to get to the main places to visit in Casablanca. The staff on reception and the concierge were delightful, smiley and cheerful always- we really appreciated it. The dining area staff we encountered were not as cheery or helpful. The breakfast was mediocre, a meagre selection and not appealing. We didn’t like the fact that we had to wait to be served drinks in the morning, hot water, tea and coffee should be on tap for multiple visits during breakfast. The person behind the drinks bar was slow to take and make the orders and not particularly helpful- some cafetières or tea and coffee dispensers would remedy this. The room itself had a few cosmetic imperfections and could do with a deep clean, including the walls. We were surprised to see a lack of bidet showers in the bathroom, which was inconvenient and not in keeping with the culture we were expecting. Finally, the water went off a couple of times and the lifts were not in working on one occasion, both were rectified fairly quickly, but it was an inconvenience as we were not able to complete our morning ablutions.

We didn’t have a good stay at the Novotel in Mohammedia, there was no hot water on arrival and there was obviously a hotel wide issue, but the reception said they’d sent someone up and we needed to run the taps for 10 minutes! Well that didn’t work and there was no hot water in the morning either, even they promised it would be back by the morning, so freezing cold shower. No remote control for the TV, the blackout blinds had tears and holes in them (see photo), the carpets were tired and marked (photo) and the windows were absolutely filthy (photo). This was billed as a “superior room with park view” - you could see the park with the window open, but with it closed the dirt pretty much obscured it. We booked a massage but cancelled as how can you have a massage without a shower? The breakfast was very average. The staff were fine, they are up against it with this building, but they constantly asked us to give them reviews by name. The pool is tiny, the bar was quite lively and again nice staff. For a modern Novotel this was a pretty bad experience.

Experience was great! Nice hotel staff and accommodating upon request! The breakfast buffet had many great options and cover all basics of a continental.

Our stay was incredibly pleasant. The hotel's location is excellent, close to the Old Medina and Mohammed V Square, making it easy to get around on foot. There are also plenty of transport options and shops nearby. The front desk staff includes Mandarin-speaking personnel, which made communication smooth, and currency exchange was conveniently available, making it especially friendly for Chinese tourists. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing a quiet and peaceful stay. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including both Chinese dishes and local specialties, catering well to Chinese tastes. The overall service was attentive and thoughtful, and the value for money was outstanding. It's a perfect base for exploring and an excellent choice for anyone staying in Casablanca.

I had a wonderful stay at Polar Bear Hotel in Casablanca. The owner is incredibly kind, caring, and welcoming. She cooked delicious homemade food and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during my stay. She even kindly offered airport transfers and was always available to help whenever needed. Unfortunately, I was scammed by a local taxi driver who falsely claimed he was sent by the hotel. As a solo traveler, this was quite stressful. However, the owner was genuinely concerned about my situation and did everything she could to assist and support me. Her care and kindness made a huge difference. When you travel alone, meeting people who genuinely look after you is priceless. The hospitality here felt more like staying with family than at a hotel. Thank you for your kindness and for making my stay in Casablanca such a positive experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, authentic, and caring host.
