Hotels With Breakfast in Otago, New Zealand

The hotel staff were incredibly warm and provided excellent service. We arrived early, around noon, and they kindly allowed us to check in ahead of schedule. Seeing that we were elderly and didn't speak the local language, they thoughtfully printed out a hotel guide in Chinese and had a staff member escort us to our room (as the hotel is quite large). This made our check-in process so easy and we felt truly cared for. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, clean, and tidy. The location is also excellent, right by the lake, and transportation is convenient. We just took bus No. 1 from the airport, got off, and it was only about a hundred meters walk. The breakfast was good, and the restaurant had a particularly beautiful ambiance!

We stayed at this hotel apartment for three nights during our South Island road trip in Queenstown. The two-bedroom, two-living room lake-view apartment (with two separate bathrooms) was excellent! Make sure to choose a unit on the 4th or 5th floor, as the 3rd floor's lake view might be partially obstructed by other buildings. The kitchen is fully equipped (though you'll need to bring your own seasonings). On the evening of April 18th, we were able to see both the aurora and the Milky Way right from our room's balcony – no need to go out and brave the cold, which was absolutely amazing and so worth it! The hotel parking was also very convenient; we paid 45 NZD for three days. However, it might be inconvenient if you don't have a car, as the hotel is located in a lower area off the main road, and the front desk is a bit of a walk from the other two apartment buildings. It's about 2.5 kilometers from Queenstown center.

Amazing hotel. Good service and friendly staff members. Nice king bed and we had an extra sofa bed which is a bonus, it was set-up for free for us as my partner sleep snoring very loudly. The location is great and easy to find. The downgrade was the parking, there was no free parking as we had to pay $20 per 24hr. So we had to spent $60 just for parking, its ridiculous expensive. The hotel should've provide it free parking. But other than that the stayed was amazing. Had a great restaurant by the wharf and the food is amazing and bonus with an amazing views.

Gorgeous aesthetic throughout this lovely hotel! Gorgeous views of the Shotover River, pool, sauna and steam room all make this a luxurious stay.

The hotel environment is very good. The boss lady is a Chinese sister. She is very nice and gave me milk. It is very quiet here and very close to the scenic area. There is a McDonald's and a gas station ten meters away. There is a fish and chips restaurant 100 meters away. It is also opened by Chinese people. It is delicious but not friendly. In short, the hotel is very clean and sanitary, with a good location, convenient and fast, and convenient parking.

Hotel location is convenient. Easy access to majority of tourists related facilities. Hotel staff was friendly. The room and breakfast area lake view was fantastic. Overall good experience. Minor issues for improvement (1) The phone in the room is a bit confusing. There is no notice or user manual. The instruction on the TV was to press Help Me button to contact reception but pressing the button did nothing. There was no tone. So I though it was broken. It was late and level 6 was closed due to renovation work so it wasn't easy to even go to ground floor. In the end, I worked it out myself. You had to press certain button to ”activate” the phone (I pressed Speaker button accidentally) and then you can press the Help Me button to contact reception. It would be good if there had been some notes on the phone about this. (2) The coffee machine in the breakfast area only produces long black and even when making long black, it was very very flow and the volume of coffee produced didn't even fill 1/4 of the cup. I once visited a hotel and they charged extra fee for providing other coffee like Latte etc. Personally I don't quite understand the rational behind this since majority of the coffee machines you see provides a variety of coffee. Anyway this is hotel business decision. But at least ensure the coffee machine works fine.

The handsome men and beautiful women at the front desk genuinely and sincerely helped guests with their questions and needs. My three-night stay was truly fantastic! The rooftop offers stunning mountain and lake views, and the cozy fireplace makes you feel like you're in a secluded paradise. Getting around is super convenient. After leaving Queenstown Airport, you only need to walk about 100 meters to find the #1 public transport bus. Remember to buy a transport card at the airport bookstore beforehand; it's very convenient and cheap, especially if you're traveling alone or with one other person. One card is all you need. To get to this hotel (Leloo Hotel), take the bus from the airport. After about 20 minutes, get off at Stanley Street, which is a major transport hub, just a 4-minute walk from the hotel. You'll know it's the right stop because it's at the bottom of a big downhill road, with a large park on your right. The bus stops are conveniently divided into A, B, and C sections. Getting to Arrowtown only takes 25 minutes and costs 2.5 New Zealand dollars. There are many popular, Instagrammable shops nearby, like Fergburger. Even if you're vegetarian, don't worry, they all have Chinese menus.

The lake view room was beautiful, and the free parking was very convenient. It's about a 20-minute walk to Queenstown city center. The room had two large beds, and while the facilities felt a bit dated, it's still highly recommended!

Nice place with central location of the Oamaru town, near Woolworth supermarket, some nice old-fashion places and beach. Nice to visit and grab photos. Hotel keeps original decoration you can feel warm with the fireplace and wooden furniture. But the room is clean with modern style.

The room was spotless and well-equipped, and the bedding was so comfortable I slept like a log. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and both check-in and check-out were handled efficiently. Great value for money and an overall fantastic experience – I'll definitely choose this place again!
