I had a lovely stay at Clarion Congress Hotel Bratislava. Even though it was quite cold outside, the welcome I received was warm and genuine, which immediately made me feel comfortable. The staff were friendly and provided pleasant, attentive service throughout my stay.
The coffee machine in the room was a great touch, perfect for starting the day, and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. The hotel’s location is also very convenient, making it easy to explore the city.
Overall, a cozy and enjoyable experience—I would definitely stay here again.
Hotel location, facilities, etc. for travel in Moreton-myeon.
It was the best accommodation. In particular, clean beds and kitchen utensils were very useful to travelers.

Upon checking in on the first day, we later approached the front desk to add breakfast for the second day. The female staff member with a ponytail and no glasses told us we could settle the bill for breakfast upon check-out.
However, when we went for breakfast on the second day, our reservation wasn't found at the restaurant, and we were sent back to the front desk to reconfirm. We went back to the front desk to clarify the situation, but two other female staff members seemed completely unaware of what had happened. Eventually, the original staff member we spoke to appeared. To our utter disbelief, she then retracted her statement, insisting we needed to arrange it directly with the restaurant ourselves? This was utterly baffling and clearly an internal communication failure 🤬🤬🤬. I demand you review the surveillance footage to verify what you actually said!
This incident truly ruined our morning and left us feeling incredibly upset. Especially considering this is a reputable international chain, a star-rated hotel, I'm truly at a loss for words. For such a simple matter, adding a note should not be difficult. This is purely due to poor internal communication and unclear staff handover😡. I'm speechless; this is absolutely outrageous! They should have just charged us on the spot to avoid any disputes. Instead, this entire debacle left us with no proof, turning it into a ”Rashomon” situation of conflicting verbal accounts.
On the bright side, the location is quite good, and the public spaces are tastefully designed. Overall, the hotel appeared reasonably clean and tidy.
Now, regarding the in-room facilities: there was actually quite a bit of dust in the room. On surfaces like the TV cabinet and capsule coffee machine, dust particles were clearly visible floating in the light, which triggered our allergies, causing us to sneeze repeatedly. In room 520, the bathroom constantly emitted peculiar noises, making us wonder if it was some kind of machinery running. Furthermore, this is the first time I've encountered unstable hot water pressure in the shower (it would often turn lukewarm) at a supposedly 'better' chain hotel. To top it all off, the washing machine was also broken, and we were informed it wouldn't be fixed and usable until next week. I'm utterly astonished by this level of inefficiency... 😵💫😵💫😵💫
Fabulous hotel, perfectly situated for the airport, rooms and bathroom are big, clean and have everything you need.
Staff are helpful and polite.
Breakfast was amazing.
It is close to the center of Slovakia. It belongs to the residential area. It is said that the so-called 3-star hotel in Europe is an ordinary hotel. It is air-conditioned and has no breakfast, because the front desk will ask you when you enter the store.
The location is very convenient. There is a square at the door, where there will be a Christmas market, and the surrounding transportation and food are also very convenient. According to the information, it is a century-old building, but the facilities in the hotel are still good, and the supporting facilities and facilities are very convenient.
At first glance, Hotel Tatra appeared to be a very nice, tidy, and welcoming establishment. However, during our stay, some issues arose that didn't fully satisfy us.
We were a group of 13 and stayed in two quadruple rooms (apartments), a triple room (ours, room 433), and a double room (room 501), from January 12th to 16th. Guests in the quadruple rooms were very satisfied with the cleanliness, which was always impeccable and maintained daily. In contrast, we encountered several cleanliness issues in the triple and double rooms.
In particular, some towels were stained or had lint and had a strong, decidedly unpleasant smell of bleach. Furthermore, the sheets were never changed during our entire stay, whereas in other hotels we've stayed in the past, they were changed every night. The cleanliness of the furniture also left much to be desired, as there was a lot of dust.
We're highlighting these issues constructively, especially since the apartments are located in a different part of the hotel (on the left), while the double and triple rooms are on the right. This suggests there may be a difference in the cleaning staff, which is why we believe an in-depth analysis would be helpful in improving the service provided.
The breakfast is very varied and overall good. However, the fruit seemed a bit bland and unfresh, and the desserts weren't particularly to our liking. Despite this, the buffet was still very comprehensive.
The aspect that definitely improved our experience was the reception staff. The staff were all extremely kind, especially Sara and Adam, who were extremely helpful and professional. They helped us tremendously in organizing an itinerary for a day trip to Budapest and even took care of printing tickets for us. Truly excellent and always with a smile.
In conclusion, the hotel has great potential, but we believe that greater attention to uniform cleanliness across all rooms could make a big difference in the overall guest experience.
It was about a 8 mins walk from the main train station with some mild upslope. Take note there’s a flight of few steps going down to the hotel. However the rooms are so intricately designed with good amenities! They also gave free water, beer, and soft drinks in the mini fridge. Bed and pillows were comfy. One of the top hotels, if not the best, in Bratislava!

The hotel's breakfast was very good, the best in the four Eastern European countries in recent days. The location is not far from the old town. In fact, we only walked there for about 20 minutes. The whole city feels a bit depressed

Great
This is a beautiful hotel literal steps away from the sites or Bratislava. We really enjoyed our stay here and felt very relaxed once in the hotel. The view from the street and lobby make it seem like there isn't much but once we got beyond the ground floor (in a diamond shaped elevator) we really appreciated the atrium. There were plenty of spots to sit including some large bench areas where you could enjoy the sunlight and brightly lit areas. The room was a good size with plenty of space and storage cabinets to keep our things. They had a coffee station, mini fridge and desk area. The room was comfy and quiet. The wifi was also very strong during our stay. We had a minor issue with the curtains because they got stuck and did not offer complete coverage. The bathroom was good and we appreciated the rainfall showerhead. They had an all in one shower gel so you may want to consider bringing your own products. There was a towel warming rack too which was a nice touch. The breakfast at the hotel was very good and there were some nice healthy options. They had plenty of fruit, yogurt and some nice breads. We also appreciated the eggs, bacon and cheese. The breakfast spot is on the bottom floor and serves as an extension to the restaurant Koliba Kamzík Zelená which has a few locations in Bratislava. We had a very good lunch at the restaurant which included pierogies, cabbage soup and a garlic soup with cheese. The hot sea buckthorn drink was very good too. The lunch was probably our best meal in Bratislava and if you're a member of the hotel's Aplend club you can get discounts on several items. The location was good for us and we were a very short walk away from many restaurants, souvenir shops and cafes. The Town Hall Square is about 100 meters away from the entrance of the hotel and we found many of Bratislava's attractions a short walk away from the hotel including St. Michael's Tower, Cumil and the whole Old Town area. The bus and tram stops are a bit further of a walk but we found the bus station and tram station by the UFO Bridge to be pretty convenient during our stay.
WOW- I was completely amazed by how clean, modern, confy, and convenient the hostel was. The beds all came with a separate locker section (operated by card key) and multiple shelves, and my compartment was able to close off using pull-down curtains. One of the things that stood out about this stay was the check-in and out processes, as they were fully automated and did not require staff intervention. I was able to swiftly do them. The staff were also very kind, and there seemed to always be somebody at the front desk, as there was a member at the front desk even at 5AM. One thing which might be improved are the bathrooms, since the floor is almost constantly wet from the shower section on the further end side of the room. Overall, I am very satisfied by the stay and if I were to visit Bratislava again, I would like to book here.
Overview: nice and super big rooms! Location: centrally located, 10-15 mins walking distance to most attractions like Bratislava Castle, Old Town Hall, Michael’s Gate etc, tram stations just within 2 mins away! Breakfast: good choice, particularly impressed when they extended the ending time by 10 mins on a Sunday as there were a lot of new guests the night before who might not have been aware of the ending time! Service: nice and friendly staff! Cleanliness: spotless from what I can see which is nice! Rooms: I thought I was staying in a flat for a second, super big and roomy, with sofa, a separate living area, impressive! Facilities: good gym, but the sauna costs a bit which is unexpected (and rare, consider it is a decent 4*…) so didn’t use it, and the lobby was a bit dim when I checked in at night, but not a major issue.
The lobby and breakfast area are very modern, clean, and the breakfast buffet is very good food with plenty choices and several coffee machines as well as fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, fresh bread, and toast, several different types of sausages, beans, yogurt, salads, cold, cuts, and several different types of cheese. My room was modern with a good size TV and a very large bathroom. My only complaints are that the carpets in the bedroom and the hallways are dirty.
Fabulous hotel, perfectly situated for the airport, rooms and bathroom are big, clean and have everything you need. Staff are helpful and polite. Breakfast was amazing.
Good location, excellent customer service. The room is big with modern design, complete with electric kettle(with the usual coffee, tea & sugar) & small fridge. Good selection in the breakfast buffet. It’s a nice touch that they put the guest’s name in the room’s t.v & a small card from the housekeeping staff. I was happy with the cleanliness, until I saw a stain in the duvet/comforter (which looks like an old blood). I only saw it on the morning of check-out when the duvet cover accidentally opened when i was tidying-up the bed. I mentioned it to the reception staff & she said she will feedback to the housekeeping.
The room was huge and spotlessly clean. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Also appreciate the complimentary breakfast. The staff was friendly especially William who came to my rescue by lending me an adapter. Thank you. Strongly recommend this hotel😀
