The staff were amazing from the breakfast team Peter Mary jacob and all the other staff that made us so welcome. The head man in the restaurant the girls on the tables and Susan the cleaner . Not to forget the man who walked us round the fascinating animal garden . We truly had the best time ever . We did not want to leave .

The hotel's location is excellent, right inside the East Gate. If you get tired from sightseeing, you can simply take the internal scenic area bus back to the hotel. We encountered heavy rain at noon, so we returned to the hotel, took a nap, and then continued our tour. Exploring from the East Gate to the West Gate was no problem and not too tiring, thankfully we listened to the hotel's front desk advice. That way, we didn't waste the park's prime location by queuing at the West Gate. The hotel facilities are quite new, and the restaurant is good too. There's also free laundry and drying. The hotel's vehicles are very convenient. I highly recommend this place for families with children who want to avoid getting too tired.

Whenever I have a short business trip to Guiyang, I always stay at this Holiday Inn for my layover. The shuttle bus schedule is well-arranged, making it very convenient to get to the airport and eliminating the anxiety of rushing for my flight. The room layout is simple and practical, with a spacious desk and stable internet. It's quiet at night, allowing me to focus on work without disturbance. Front desk staff, Iven, provided efficient service, and the check-in and check-out processes were smooth. The breakfast selection is comprehensive, and the Guizhou-style sour soup noodles are authentic. It's perfect for a quick meal before heading to the airport, making it a hassle-free choice for business travelers.

Such a delightful stay, from start to finish! The staff was incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. The young man at reception thoughtfully helped us check in, took our luggage to the room, and even provided travel tips! He also upgraded our room, which was a lovely surprise. The breakfast the next morning was delicious, especially the tofu pudding mixed with rice noodle sauce, yum! The view from the top floor was stunning – perfect for photos. We were able to walk to Libo Xiaoqikong Scenic Area in about 10-15 minutes. When we left, the same young man kindly called a taxi for us. We slept so soundly at night. I really hope I get a chance to visit again!

Environment: There's an underground parking lot, remember to register your license plate at the front desk. It's very close to Jiaxiu Tower, about a 7-minute walk. Facilities: The bed in the room was decent. The hotel is a bit old, opened in 2007. The showerhead and water pressure were fine. However, the window had no handle and could be pushed open. Since our room faced the street, the window couldn't be closed properly, so it was a bit noisy. Even when closed, the single-pane glass didn't provide good sound insulation. The door lock was also broken and couldn't be deadbolted. The outer doorknob was loose, which makes me think the management isn't great. Don't they inspect and fix things promptly? Breakfast was quite good, with a rich variety and decent taste. Service: The hotel front desk seemed to be misleading guests. However, the hotel's room rates are also a bit strange. The difference between a deluxe twin room and an executive deluxe twin room is that the executive deluxe twin room includes an extra afternoon tea... The hotel clearly has some newly renovated rooms and some older ones, but they don't use this distinction for pricing... Who would pay several hundred more just for your afternoon tea? I don't understand.

Located right at the foot of the mountain, it's incredibly convenient, especially for those early birds planning a morning hike. The front desk service was average, but concierge staff member 002 was exceptionally enthusiastic and instantly made a great impression. The perfect score is entirely because of him! I'd suggest opening breakfast half an hour earlier, as most guests staying here are heading out early for the mountain.

Overall, this is a really excellent local five-star hotel. Zhijin isn't a big place, and compared to other small cities in Guizhou, Zhijin Hotel is a cut above. The hygiene is good, the hotel room facilities are relatively new, and the quality of the amenities is decent. The Chinese restaurant offers generous portions and the food tastes great. The hotel itself is grandly built with good views. The service is slightly less refined than what you'd find at a chain five-star hotel in a major city, but they still have a proactive service mindset. The hotel's SPA and foot massage service is excellent; it's very refreshing after a walk through Zhijin Cave. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zhijin!

The front desk staff were excellent during check-in, accommodating our request for a quieter room and providing complimentary breakfast. They always greeted us warmly whenever we came and went. Even a different staff member at check-out asked about our stay, which shows their training is very thorough. The accommodation itself was good, close to the hospital, and there's a whole street of restaurants downstairs, making it very convenient. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was truly disappointing. I booked this place specifically because breakfast started at 7 AM, hoping to eat quickly and head to Maling River Canyon. However, when I arrived at 7 AM, all they had were some fruits and cold dishes. The coffee machine was being cleaned, and none of the hot food was ready. I asked a staff member to cook some rice noodles, but they told me to wait twice, suggesting I eat something else first, claiming everyone was busy. I asked them what I was supposed to eat when there was nothing available, and only then did someone reluctantly come to cook the rice noodles.

The greatest strength of this hotel is undoubtedly its staff. Despite language barriers, everyone we encountered was friendly, patient and genuinely eager to help. A special mention must go to the hotel manager, who went far beyond what could reasonably be expected. When we were struggling with transport arrangements, he personally offered assistance and ultimately drove us to the train station himself. Only afterwards did we discover that he was actually the hotel manager, not a driver. He refused any payment and demonstrated a level of hospitality and generosity that left a lasting impression on our family. The staff also helped us order food delivery using local apps that were difficult for us as foreign visitors to navigate, communicating through translation apps whenever necessary. The hotel is conveniently located beside the Olympic Sports Centre, which was ideal for our visit to the Asian Gymnastics Championships. The rooms were spacious and clean. However, there were several aspects of the stay that prevented it from feeling truly comfortable. The surrounding area felt unusually quiet, with many restaurants and commercial spaces appearing closed, giving parts of the district a somewhat deserted atmosphere. Dining options were limited, and finding lunch or dinner nearby was often challenging. The rooms, while large, had relatively small windows, which meant there was not much natural light. The air conditioning sometimes struggled to keep the room as cool as we would have liked, and the hot water supply was inconsistent. The beds were extremely firm, and each guest was provided with only one fairly hard pillow. Some travellers may appreciate a very firm mattress, but we found it a little uncomfortable for a longer stay. Also, we were only provided with 2 bath towels even though there were 3 of us sharing a room. Overall, this is a hotel with exceptional staff and a convenient location for events at the Sports Centre. While the accommodation itself fell short of our expectations in several areas, the kindness and professionalism of the staff left us with positive memories of our visit.
