Hotels With Pool in Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea

The hotel is located quite far from Namhae. The landscaping, including the walking path and streets, is excellent, but the hotel itself lacks facilities, so it may be boring. However, the view, the atmosphere of the room, and the room condition are all excellent, so I think it was a very satisfying trip. It seems to be a good place to stay for a trip to Namhae rather than a trip just to visit the hotel.

This property has a theme park on site which makes it a typical choice for family with kids. The room is big but wear and tear is obvious, it is stripped of any usual toiletries and coffee/tea bags which are usually common for 4* properties. The only option is to purchase at the mart downstairs or have your meals at restaurants on site. The restaurants on site like many theme park hotels are overpriced. It makes one feel bad for families where its either cook or have to pay exorbitant prices. Maybe they should at least keep up to 4* property's room conveniences to justify its 4*. For breakfast it is possible to grab some bread from the hotel's Italian lounge or Starbucks, they are at about the same price point.

We have stayed here multiple times since 2010, back when the property was managed as apartments by COENS. It remains excellent value for money, offering great amenities for families, including an indoor children’s play area, BBQ facilities, outdoor seating, and a pool. The main drawback is that the apartments are showing their age and would benefit from refurbishment to restore them to their former standard. In terms of location, it is about a 10-minute drive to Okpo or a 30-plus-minute walk. There are no restaurants in the immediate area, and the return walk involves a very steep hill. If you plan to head into town for dinner or drinks, it is best to drive or take a taxi.

Plus: There was no holiday season when I stayed at the hotel, which made the experience very relaxing and enjoyable. The swimming pool, which is open from 09:00 to 20:00, was available only for me. I highly recommend the 5 PM boat tour—it was one of the best experiences in Tongyeong. The staff is very kind. The room with a balcony overlooking the sea is fantastic. Minus: There was only one restaurant offering grilled dishes for dinner. I didn’t have a chance to eat breakfast at the hotel, as they exceptionally did not offer breakfast during my stay. The hotel is located far from the city center, main harbor, and sightseeing spots. Take a taxi if you don’t have your own car.

The cleanliness was good when I entered the room. The location of the hostel was right in front of the beach, so it was good to take a morning walk. I didn't think it was uncomfortable that the bathroom had to open the middle door and go out. However, there was no coffee pot in the lobby or room on the floor, so it was a little annoying to go down and up to use the water purifier at the entrance on the first floor.

The sea view from the second-floor room, the hinoki bath, and the dinner were very satisfying. The staff were also friendly and attentive. However, there were a few areas that left something to be desired in terms of facilities. It seemed necessary to create a cozier outdoor environment by installing shade canopies in the rear parking lot, creating a lawn, and planting pretty plants like evening primroses in the flowerbeds.

A Wonderful and Memorable Stay! We had such a wonderful experience! The customer service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They even helped us light the bonfire and prepare the BBQ, making our first night very special and memorable. We had a fantastic time and truly enjoyed our stay. This was definitely a gem I overlooked in the past. The location was great, would have preferred more attractions at first glance but didn’t notice the outlets were pretty much on the premises. The only thing that would have made this stay better was the availability of the waterpark next door. All in all highly recommended!

Very sweet pension very close to an amazing beach. The balconies we had had sea views. The room has a fridge/freezer and plates, glasses, cups and cooking equipment. No breakfast is offered so you have to get food from the Seven Eleven store nearby. We felt like we were the only western tourists in the whole of Namhae, it's a gorgeous area and seemingly undiscovered.

Hotel & location were great!! Definitely will be back again when we are in Tongyeong🤗🥰
