I stayed at the Zhongya International Hotel in Yining. It's conveniently located—just a few minutes from the train station. The room wasn't perfectly sterile, but it was clean and cozy, with everything you need. The breakfast was delicious and quite varied, even though the menu hadn't changed in three days. I was especially surprised by the smart toilet—a pleasant surprise. 🙂 There are plenty of shops and cafes nearby, offering a variety of cuisines, so you can try local dishes or just grab a bite. Overall, it's a pleasant place to stay—convenient, comfortable, and reasonably priced.

While the hotel's location is a bit off the beaten path, it didn't hinder my travels at all. Taxis were readily available, pick-up was quick, and getting to any destination didn't take long. The hotel's service was impeccable; from the moment I stepped inside, I felt the staff's warmth and professionalism. The service from the concierge, Ili, was particularly outstanding. My room was exquisitely decorated, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious, catering to various tastes. The absolute highlight was the sea of clouds view from my window – it felt like being in a fairyland, a truly stunning visual experience! The stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to everyone; you won't regret staying here. All in all, this hotel offers incredible value for money, and I'll definitely choose it again on my next visit.

This was my first time visiting Altay, and this guesthouse was definitely a highlight of the 500-li scenic area. Every detail inside was meticulously designed, showcasing impeccable aesthetics. The rooms were spacious, with quick and plentiful hot water, a separate wet and dry area, and the rooms were warm and not dry. The milk served at breakfast was fresh milk from Xinjiang herders, with a thick layer of cream on top—very rich and creamy. Across from the guesthouse is the Kelan River, and not far away is a birch tree park. Across the Kelan River is the General Mountain Ski Resort, and the guesthouse's Northern Ski Club offers authentic, clean, comfortable, and warm ski suits—perfect for renting and taking beautiful photos. The guesthouse owner was very nice and also offered car rental services, making it very friendly for first-time independent travelers to Altay.

First time staying at Atour, and the value for money exceeded my expectations! The breakfast was rich and plentiful, especially the freshly ground soy milk – it was so fragrant and rich, absolutely amazing! The location is also excellent; if you cut through the small alley next to the hotel, it's a much shorter walk to the Grand Bazaar and Jinquan Commercial Building, which I only discovered on my third day. There's a night market downstairs, so dining and shopping around here are absolutely fantastic. I really enjoyed it.

This is my first time writing such a detailed review, and I just have to give this place a shout-out, even though my photos are pretty mediocre. I was in Altay for a business trip, and I wasn't thrilled with the hotel my partner booked. So I switched to this one, and I definitely made the right choice. I absolutely loved the hotel's vibe. It seemed like a lot of ski enthusiasts were staying here. It's quite new, and the layout is exactly to my liking. The breakfast was truly excellent. They had rice noodles, which I, a 'southern big potato,' love, and also regular noodles. The laundry room wasn't crowded, and there was a lovely lady in the lobby – she was so beautiful! It seems attractive people gravitate towards attractive hotels. They also have their own coffee bar, and the in-room capsule coffee machine was my absolute favorite. The location is super convenient, right on the main street in the city center, with snowy landscapes on both sides. There are various restaurants right outside the main entrance. The room was spacious enough to fit most ski equipment. It's clear they really understand the ski market. They also offer airport pickup, which is a huge plus. I'll definitely bring my family here next time, and I want to stay in a duplex!

We stayed in this hotel for three consecutive nights. The quality of the staff's service and hotel's amenities far exceeded my expectations. Room is spacious, clean, layout of the room very good and room facilities was excellent. Bathroom / toilet : - four towel rails and 2 wall mounted hooks for clothing - more than adequate shelf space for new towels - Well located twin toilet roll holders - Push button on / off valve for shower mixer tap which is super efficient for use without turning of knobs and unwanted water temperature fluctuations - room size is very comfortable, more than adequate for walking freely in the room even though there was a writing table and swivel chair in it - number of electric power sockets provided was far more than adequate - wash basin counter top space was generous - kettle area cabinet was also provided - suitably sized luggage rack - comfortable bed size and mattresses - room door has indicator of direction to the elevator - well located mini fridge - cordless hand phone charging facilities in room - superb laundry facilities and unexpected service of staff transferring washed clothes to tumble dryer and delivering dried clothes to our room - great variety of food provided in the restaurant for breakfast - hotel reception staff and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful - free night porridge provided - hotel is within walkable distance to Liuxing Street - many shops and restaurants near hotel - we enjoyed staying in the hotel room when we don't want be exposed to the sun outside We are more than satisfied staying in this hotel. After we checked out to head to Tekes, we returned to stay in this hotel again for a second time - we intend to stay in Atour hotel in Turpan when we get there later as we felt so comfortable with this hotel - we recommend this hotel for your stay when you visit Yining

Environment: The hotel is just like the pictures I saw when booking on Ctrip, clean and tidy, very satisfactory. There is free airport pick-up near the airport! It was 9pm when we arrived, but the sun was still scorching. Urumqi was 37 degrees hot in those two days, and the ultraviolet rays were very high. When we got off the plane, we contacted the airport. The new passenger terminal in Urumqi is good. It is easy to find and reach the fourth floor of P2. And there is a barbecue restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. The rack meat is delicious! There is also a 24-hour unmanned convenience store on the first floor, which is convenient for purchasing! Facilities: The only regret is that the hot water is not hot at 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, but warm and cool. The rooms are very good, with good shading and sound insulation, and the air conditioning is also very good! Service: The breakfast is good. Although the variety is a bit small, it will be replenished from time to time. Hygiene: Very clean and tidy, and there is no peculiar smell! Photos left when leaving.

My stay at the R&F Wanda Vista Hotel in Urumqi was truly exceptional! The Western-style decor immediately caught my eye upon entering the lobby. The Tianshan tapestries and snow lotus lanterns were stunning, instantly elevating the atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming, greeting me immediately and making me feel incredibly attentive. I have to praise Sara, the hotel's housekeeper. After adding her on WeChat, she quickly addressed any requests I had. She was incredibly thoughtful! She also thoughtfully took care of any issues I had with my reservation. The room I was given was the perfect size, spotlessly clean, and odorless. It was a comfortable stay, and I had a great rest. Upon check-out, they even gave the children a small gift. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Urumqi!

One of the most satisfactory hotels in Xinjiang, the room is relatively large, the overall feeling is very transparent, and the hygiene is quite good. The hotel is located in the new urban area, and the overall layout is quite comfortable. Warm porridge at night: There are not many things, but it is just right for simple meals at night, suitable for babies who don't want to go out for food at night after a long journey. There is a Hotan rose pilaf near the hotel, which is within walking distance, and the lamb kebabs taste great. The only drawback is that the water pressure of the hotel is unstable at night, and the bath water is sometimes cold and sometimes hot, which is unexpected.

I had a long layover at Ürümqi International Airport—my first time there—and booked this hotel the night before. It was very easy to find; you don’t even need to leave the airport. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the exit gate. Check-in was quick and efficient. The room was spacious, clean, and appeared to be in a newly built or recently renovated hotel. The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful throughout my short stay. Breakfast was included in the rate, which was a nice bonus. I managed to get a solid 8 hours of incredibly comfortable sleep—something I really needed during my layover. Overall, this is an excellent choice if you have an overnight layover at Ürümqi. Convenient, clean, and restful.
