This homestay is really good, the location is good, easy to find, the car is easy to drive, easy to stop, the view is also quite good, the large glass window, sitting in the room can enjoy the beautiful scenery outside the window, unobstructed, the boss and his wife are Tibetans, Chinese is very good and easy to communicate, the room is clean, bright and well equipped. The altitude of this homestay is not high in Zhagana, and there is no high reaction to sleeping.

I came for the beautiful public decor and the desert dune view, and it did not disappoint! The stay was also very comfortable; the cleaning staff did an excellent job, making for a super great experience. It's very close to the Mingsha Mountain parking lot, making access to and from the scenic area very convenient. Getting to Mogao Grottoes in the morning was also quick, only a 20-minute drive! The environment is peaceful, and it happened to be sunny during my two-day stay. This location, free from city lights, offers a crystal-clear view of the stars – perfect for stargazing enthusiasts! It's also not far from the city center, about a 10-20 minute drive if you're self-driving. Breakfast is usually at 8 AM, but they were also able to provide an early packed breakfast for us when we needed to leave early. Overall, I'm very satisfied!

If life is a never-ending journey, then the camping trip at the Desert Star Hotel is undoubtedly a highlight of my journey. When I arrived at the campsite, the first thing that attracted me was the unique tent house. Unlike regular tents, the top of the tent is made of special transparent materials, like a huge viewing platform, which builds a bridge of communication between me and the vast galaxy. As night fell, I couldn't wait to lie on the soft bed, and when I looked up, the bright starry sky was presented to me without reservation. The stars twinkled, like gems inlaid on the black sky, beautiful as a dream. At that moment, the world seemed to press the mute button, and the impetuousness and noise in my heart were instantly soothed. The unique beauty of this quietness made me intoxicated. It is worth mentioning that the hotel staff is very considerate. After placing the order, the customer service guy at the front desk added our contact information and gave us some local travel tips, which saved us a lot of time. From the warm reception at check-in, to the careful guidance during the activities, to the warm greetings at night, every detail made people feel cared for. They not only provided me with thoughtful service, but also made me feel the simplicity and enthusiasm of the desert people. This desert camping trip not only allowed me to appreciate the magnificent scenery of the desert, but also experienced exciting and interesting activities, which became an eternal and beautiful memory in my heart.

Facilities: Excellent, I absolutely loved the desert here. Cleanliness: Spotless and tidy; you can tell the owner put a lot of effort into it. Environment: A bit dry, but that's understandable given it's a desert. Service: The housekeeper, Xiao Yu, was on call whenever needed, which was great.

An excellent welcoming from the owneer when we arrived. We felt really well as soon as we discover the place. During the night we assisted to a stars watching session with really good comments from the staff member. We could enjoyed the silence of the place. The morning we woke up with an amazing view to the sand dune and had enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Definitely a greath place to unwind and relax.

My classmate and I stayed at this newly opened B&B while he was in Dunhuang for a marathon, and it was such a pleasant surprise! **Facilities:** Everything is brand new, the room amenities are complete, and the hardware quality is excellent – it was a real pleasure to use. **Cleanliness:** The room was meticulously cleaned, the entire place was spotless and odor-free, making for a very comfortable stay. The bathroom, in particular, felt incredibly welcoming upon entering. My first impression was how exceptionally clean it was. As someone who's a bit of a clean freak, I absolutely loved this. **Ambiance:** The B&B is absolutely beautiful, exactly the kind of vibe I like – a desert Silk Road style. The environment is quiet and serene, with no noise, making for a truly relaxing stay. **Service:** The service was thoughtful and attentive. They even prepared臊子面 (Sauteed Noodles with Minced Pork) for breakfast, homemade by the proprietress. It tasted just like home cooking; I haven't had anything this delicious in ages! The owner was incredibly warm and enthusiastic, responding to any requests immediately. The service was exceptional. What made me happiest was that the owner upgraded our room and even gave us some local fruit for free! Highly recommend! Thumbs up, thumbs up, thumbs up!

The room is very clean, with 24-hour hot water. The owner and his family are very nice and welcoming. There are welcome fruits grown by themselves, and the food is also delicious. It is a very good inn👍👍

We were tourists from Jiuquan, on a self-driving trip. The owner was incredibly kind, and the hotel's location inside Mati Temple was excellent, with convenient parking. The young lady at the restaurant was also very nice; the dishes she recommended were delicious, served in large portions, and offered great value for money. It's especially suitable for older people and children! At night, you can even go to the mountaintop to stargaze. The owner is generous and such a good person; they patiently helped each of us adjust our phone settings, and the photos turned out amazing. We got to see all the grottoes early in the morning before it got crowded, which was very convenient! We Gansu people are warm and hospitable, so everyone is welcome to visit Gansu. You'll see unique scenery at Mati Temple, and both the front and back of the mountain are fun to explore. What a delightful weekend!

When booking the hotel, I specifically checked other guests' reviews. It still exceeded my expectations. The guesthouse isn't located on the main street, but in an alley, near the Wuzelinka ******* Restaurant. We arrived at the guesthouse on the evening of the 2nd, and it was snowing that night. The owners and their family came out to pick us up—they were incredibly friendly! The two-story rooms were both very clean. Our electric blanket broke, and they bought us a new one the next day. They also always let us know before we went out or when we returned. Breakfast was home-style, with millet porridge, white eggs, etc. On my second day, I caught a cold and experienced some altitude sickness, and the guesthouse owner gave us medicine! In short, I recommend this guesthouse to everyone visiting Xiahe! The only downside was that our trip was a bit rushed, so I didn't take many photos of the guesthouse.

The owner is very nice, the environment is clean and hygienic, and everything is complete. The toilet even comes with a toilet seat cover, which is very thoughtful and matches the picture perfectly.
