BBam/every thing is so perfect in this place from the manager jack who is very professional in terms of hospitality no dull moment until the last day of our stay early check in late check out he even arranged all the tours and before we ask he already booked our speed boat going back to the airport to the front desk Envie Maricar David and to all the staffs they’ll let you feel very welcome like their family thank you jack and the rest of your team surely will come back and i also highly recommend this place best place ever..

AAnonymous UserThe hotel has a perfect location, the best on the island: it is in 10 meters only from the beautiful main entry to the bikini beach. The beach is so big and clean! Umbrellas are for an additional fee but there's no need in them cause you can sit wherever you want under the tree.
I had a cosy room with a balcony, on the second floor. In the room, you have everything you need: an air conditioner, a kettle, a fridge, lots of lights, towels etc. Cleaning is upon request. Wifi was good.
The staff is extremely friendly and polite, always ready to help, they helped me so many times with different questions, the kindest people!!
A team of divers live at the hotel and leads excursions for guests from the whole island. Snorkeling with them was the best experience in my life! I've seen colorful fish, big sharks, dolphins, and even a sea turtle.
For breakfast, you have a choice between continental and maldivian breakfasts, I personally loved the last one, it was delicious. Always fresh fruits and juice before breakfast.
Sometimes in the evening, the hotel prepares barbecue dinner with fresh fish from the sea and with traditional music, such an authentic experience!
There are several restaurants on the island to have dinner, including the hotel restaurant. They're more or less of the same quality and price, liked local food there.
Gulhi is very calm and tiny island, just 30 min on the boat from Male island. (The transfer to Gulhi from the airport costs $25.) There were not many tourists on the island, when I stayed. No noise at night at all, so if you're looking for calmness, this is probably the better choice for you than Maafushi. Also it feels safe if you're a female solo traveler.
For me, everything was just perfect, loved the place, the food, the beach, the excursions. I think the guesthouse is the best price/quality option on the island.

JJarina BintiA little gem in Huraa island. Najire the manager is really great, doing all he can to accommodate your needs. The guesthouse is in the village, within walking distance to everything. Najire can help organise day trips for you, from as simple as booking a day use at the many luxury resorts nearby (Huraa is a village by a beautiful mangrove - it has so not much else in term of tourist facilities except a few secluded small beaches allocated to tourists and a small number of eateries) to day trips to watch dolphins, surfing, snorkelling or diving. Just ask him and he’ll honestly let you know if he can help or not.
Breakfast as mentioned by many is limited. But this is understandable as they have to source everything from Male. It was raining heavily while we were there so we were glad to have great wifi access and Netflix (use yr own account) as we had to stay in a lot. It also helps that the room was spacious and tastefully done.

Speed boat service provided by hotel from Male Jetty to Maafushi Island feel 25USD for 1 pax 1 way. Once booked the hotel, please email them to get information regarding speed boat service.
First day we are warmly welcomed by the hotel staff. Took 15-20 mins for the room arrangements. Staff helped to bring the luggage’s to the room. Room was good clean and neat. No toothpaste and brush was provided.
First 2-3 days very struggling to get WI-FI due to some disruption. We need to go out to use WiFi.
We took water sport activities under Kaani. Not a great service. I would suggest to go around see other packages provided by other companies.
We was disappointed with their management when we asked about the snorkelling activities we done is not go well as they promised. When I raised the issue they management refused to answer.

GGuest UserI want to share something with my friends who want to book this hotel: We asked the hotel front desk where we can eat local Maldivian food. An old man said that it is difficult to eat Maldivian food in Maafushi because it takes a long time to prepare, and it has basically been replaced by local food. Nowadays, Maldivian women all go out to work, and rarely cook Maldivian food at home, so now young people in Maldives are also used to eating foreign food such as hamburgers and fried chicken. But! The hotel's breakfast is a special breakfast in the Maldives, and it is specially made by someone hired by the hotel.
Friends who want to stay in this hotel should remember to try it. Small pancakes, eggs and salad that tastes like fish floss and onions. If it's not enough, you can also ask for banana jam pancakes.

The hotel's hardware facilities are not very good, especially don't live on the first floor, it's humid! The room we stayed in was a room on the first floor without an external window... a dark room with no sunlight at all. I wanted to change to another one and was told that there were no rooms.
But to be honest, the room was cleaned very cleanly and spotlessly. The service is also super good. It can be said that it has done its best under the simple facilities. The staff will try their best to meet your request, and their attitude is also very gentle!
So even if the room is not very good (the hardware facilities of the entire island are not very good), it still left a good impression on me, which is quite touching!

FFakhrinThe resort is very nice and quiet. Room is spacious and neat. It's located very near to the jetty. In fact, everything is near because Maafushi is not so big. Water sport, snorkeling package etc is easy to find.
Thanks to Aishath, the person in charge at the resort. She helped a lot in giving suggestions for activities to be done in Maldives.

GGuest UserIt's a really very good experience. Staff was very kind and helpful. Specily thanks to rozi and malini both of them are really good. The room is clean and every day house keeping staff re-had decorate our room. Food was good, and the vegetarian food options were very less. I suggest pls add more options for vegetarians. I really recommend this hotel
