A few suggestions for future guests: the bed is surrounded by mirrors, which might feel a bit unsettling at night, so it’s good to be mentally prepared. I’d recommend wearing slippers indoors, as walking barefoot isn’t very comfortable. The dining table had some leftover cleaning residue, so it’s worth wiping down again before use. The toilet could have been cleaned more thoroughly.
Also, while I didn’t use the air conditioner, the room felt a bit stuffy — adding a fan would help improve ventilation.
After all it’s a comfortable and spacious place. With a few minor improvements, it could be an excellent stay.

Pros:
It’s very cheap — only around RM100 per night including tax! Really affordable and super worth it! The room is also spacious. Parking can be waived for free!
Cons:
It’s about a 20-minute drive up to Genting First World (about 10 minutes drive down from Genting to the hotel). The location is a bit far and secluded. The reception, parking, and hotel entrance are quite far apart. Every time you go out, you need to get the parking waived, change elevators, and walk quite a bit. After getting our room card and parking ticket, we had to go to the 7th floor, exit the lift, and switch to another elevator just to get to the one that leads to the rooms. We noticed it wasn’t just us — everyone seemed lost and confused. The directions and signage were really unclear. Every time we went out, someone was asking for directions.

The checkin and checkout process was well structured and fast. The 2 bedroom apartment that I stayed was clean and comfortable. Owner/management had all cooking utensils and hotpot ready for steamboat.
I was on the 23rd floor hence view was superb. I will come back again as it is the best alternative location other than genting accomodations itself during peak season as you can avoid the jam and hustle staying in mid mountain location.

Our cottage is 10 minutes driving distance from Bertam Valley, surrounded with the panoramic view of Cameron Highlands’ rain forest and right next to the Manson Goat Farm. The cottage is solar powered, providing the best comfort with Cameron Highlands’ fresh cool air and nice ventilator.
We have outdoor kitchen equipped with kitchen utensil, portable stove, pan, steamboat and BBQ grill. Bottle mineral water will be provided. Do note that the nearest shop would be 10 minutes drive away.
No WIFI and network might be limited at our cottage so why don’t you put down your mobile and admire the beauty of nature? Isn’t that’s the goal of having a vacation at the first time?
Do note that due to solar powered, we request you to always turn off switch when not in used and high power electric appliances more than 40W such as electric kettle or rice cooker etc. are not allow to ensure enough power supply throughout your stay.
There might be traffic sound from main road in front of our cottage, earplug can be provided.
We can provide dinner & breakfast at an extra cost.

NNadhirah KamarudinMy stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional! The moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the stunning ambiance. The room was incredibly spacious and well-designed, providing all the comforts one could wish for. The food was a true delight, and the Nasi Lemak and Pancake were simply divine – bursting with flavors that left me craving for more. And oh, the bed! It was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on, making it hard to leave in the mornings. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking an unforgettable experience in Cameron Highlands

BBasil zhuang zhenOff-side from everything else so it's a little troublesome to travel around. A little troublesome getting around in the hotel. If you're unlucky, the hotel lobby, hotel room and carpark is all 3 different tower so you will need to walk around up and down to get to it. The room is pretty much clean with water,fridge,tea,dental kit,vanity kit etc. jus that they should actually have soap+shampoo.

GGuest UserOverall not recommended for impatient person, check in process was miserable (they delayed us for an hour, then we need to pickup our room key from they housekeeper by ourself?????(CANNOT BRAIN AT ALL)), lift at windmill upon hill was miserable too during check out hour.
Access card for lift cannot be used and customer service asked us to deal with hotel’s security guard (HELLO WE CANT EVEN USED THE LIFT SO HOW WE WANT TO GO DOWN AND MEET THE GUARD), thank god some good people helped us during when up.
Only room was comfortable, but at 1.30am we smell cigarette from another room.

SsubidesignA nice place to come, chill, have a drink or a meal. Take some nice photos. But don't stay here. We made that mistake by seeing the nice garden etc.
The rooms are totally runned down. TV is from the year 2000, only showing 2 channels - cartoon and sports. Hot water doesn't work, hot shower is must in Cameron. To make things 4 worse, some plugs in the room doesn't work. So it's harder for you to charge your phones. Our 1st and last time here for sure

Ssao.Please do not book rooms at Midhills, try to read through the reviews first. To check in at a room at Midhills you'd have to first go to Geo38 residences, which is above 2 km away, not easy for walking after a journey. Even if you have a car it is incredibly inconvenient to check in and check out at a location that is 2 km away from the residence area. Beware of that. Book rooms at geo838 directly instead. We upgraded our room from midhills to geo38 for 50 rm despite already paying for the room. They don't mention it in the app.

It's all wrongly advertised but the customer service from trip.com is so efficient and helpful to try and get me a room with Balcony. But the new room that we received had a Balcony but only with 1 king bed. First picture is the first room we got and the second picture is with the Balcony and few thin mattress to make up for the less of bed

GGuest UserThe check-in process was frustrating and poorly managed. While the email mentioned the check-in location at Windmill and the stay location at Geo38, the information was not clearly highlighted. This caused confusion, leading me to queue for 20 minutes at the wrong counter (Maplehome at Geo38). Attempts to contact Flash Suites’ hotline went unanswered, adding to the inconvenience. Once I arrived at Windmill, I had to queue another 30 minutes due to the staff’s lack of experience in handling and explaining the check-in process.
The unit itself had both pros and cons. It was clean and well-equipped with towels, showering tools, a water boiler, microwave, and cooking equipment. However, the unit lacked a balcony, limiting the enjoyment of the fresh weather outside. The toilet sink was clogged, causing water to drain very slowly, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the parking arrangement was inconvenient, as the parking space was on the highest floor, requiring multiple rounds to reach it. Unfortunately, the unit also lacked a nice view.
The provided TV box was functional, but most apps required subscriptions (like Netflix), so I could only use YouTube. On a positive note, the apartment was quiet at night, and amenities like the gym and swimming pool were available. However, scanning the access card to use the lift was difficult and needs improvement.
Overall, while the unit’s cleanliness and amenities were satisfactory, the disorganized check-in process, clogged sink, and other inconveniences made the experience less enjoyable. Improvements in communication and facilities would make a big difference.
