The service was great. The hotel WhatsApp in advance asking what time I wanted to check in. The location was above Tanjung Jara’s area. It was quite serene & peaceful. It’s a 15 mins drive to the Dungun town. The hotel is quite new hence it was very clean. I enjoyed my stay. Thank you.

The location is absolutely fantastic! 👍👍 It's right by Chinatown, just a 5-minute walk away, making dining, entertainment, and everything else incredibly convenient. The room was also very spacious. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I return! 👍

The hotel is situated on a reef. Unfortunately, there's a lot of dead coral. It seems like the lower houses get all the attention. They have their own sunbeds. The rest of the houses have maybe 10 sunbeds available, which is far too few. The entire resort is in dire need of maintenance. There's a lightbulb hanging loose from the wiring in the pool, and screws and broken tiles are visible everywhere. Nothing has been painted, and the roofs are damaged. It's the details that really need attention. There were clumps of hair floating in the pool, and the public restroom was downright filthy. The restaurant staff seem to have little interest in their work. Some are friendly, and most are slow. If you want to eat out, the quality is good, but the service in neighboring Barat is much better and cheaper! There's a reason there are lines there in the evenings for a table. I noticed that you have to ask for everything yourself; the staff doesn't do anything spontaneously. Are there spring rolls? No idea, just ask, and yes, they are. The night before, they weren't. Is there satay? Ask again. As a waiter, you should know what's available and what's not, right? We got the feeling there was no management present and the maintenance budget had run out. Our door wouldn't open, which was quickly and expertly fixed, but it was a drop in the bucket when you look around. The second door wouldn't close at all, and the bathroom sliding door was loose. I don't think that just because you pay less for your cottage, it should be poorly maintained. We later saw other people receiving a welcome drink upon check-in; we arrived drenched in sweat and received nothing and zero explanation about breakfast, times, etc. Days later, you're standing with flippers in your hands and goggles on your head, and they ask if you want to check in. Besides, fluency in English is essential for working with customers. And I think a park full of artificial turf is truly awful when we see how much of it comes off and ends up in the sea at your feet, but people don't understand that microplastics are a problem! Especially since you have to pay to enter a national park. Plastic should be banned! The good points are that you're right on a reef, you can often request towels, and the many animals, like squirrels, are fun to watch. We genuinely enjoyed our vacation in the area, and it seems like a huge hassle, but we're trying to explain how things could be improved! Just like the service from a vi***** on a boat. Please book a day in advance! Okay, tomorrow? No, full. Okay, the next day? Also full. How is that possible? At Barat, it was available right away! This way, you lose customers to a more professional resort. At Barat, for example, you get your drink immediately if it's 34g and you're obviously thirsty, and also four glasses if there are four of you, instead of two if you order a large bottle of water. Again, these are tips on how things can be improved, more organized, safer, friendlier, and more hygienic!

Overall, our family was satisfied with our stay for 3 nights at Melur Inn KT. Room for family was spacious and comfortable, bathroom was large and clean with amenities such as towels, water heater and bath soap. Other facilities such as kettle jug, coffee, sugar and creamer are also provided. The hotel's position is also strategic, which is close to Tok Jembal mosque, UniSZA, interesting dining, resort beach and also shopping. the parking facilities are also quite large provided behind the hotel.it's just that the hotel has no elevator facilities and the family room is on the 2nd floor, probably not suitable for the old people and individuals with other health problems.

Absolutely relaxing break during the long week end. Great place to unwind. Staff is friendly and always willing to help. I stayed in standard chalet, which is basic but met my requirements at the price I paid. Located next to the jetty, it is easy to access by boats. I recommend this place for solo travellers as well as families.

IIuliiaBudget hotel a couple of minutes walk from Long Beach. You can also walk to the opposite side of Coral Beach. We lived in a room with a fan. Of course, things dry very poorly, towels smell of dampness after one wash, but we were given new ones at the first request. The hotel also booked a tour of the beaches, took into account our preferences. The water is not cold in the shower. The mattress and pillows are comfortable, but the furniture and all the furnishings are quite worn out. At night, you can hear noise from the street, since the path to the beach runs along the hotel. In general, you can stay for 4 nights. We lived in three hotels on the islands, this is the simplest, but also the most budget.

AAnonymous UserWe had a wonderful stay at the Villamas Hotel. The staff is truly attentive, always available and caring, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The location is quite good: it's quiet and not too busy, which is perfect for relaxing. There are only two hotels in the area, so you avoid the crowds. There are a few restaurants nearby, including a local restaurant that also offers a taxi service and activities—very convenient! Note: since we're on an island, you should expect to encounter a few small animals, but nothing surprising or bothersome in this natural setting. In short, a relaxing stay, with a warm welcome and a peaceful setting. We recommend it without hesitation!

AAlcoolNice place to pit stop on your way to Perhentian Islands. Easy access to good food at the mamak restaurant 2 doors away. And nice Chinese food adjacent to the hotel. All are reasonably priced. Hotel is clean by most standards. Basic amenities provided like hangers, free wifi, towels, blankets. We took a big family room for 4 pax and slept comfortably.
