didn't like: 1) bathroom sharing was not clearly stated in the listing , nor the reservation. 2) the gents bathroom was too small 3) the ceiling above washbasin in gents bathroom was too low. 4) room door did not close and thus had to be locked every time

When I saw the hotel in a NGO, I was scared, but when I arrived at the site I was glad with care, care and zeal for the environment and everything that is done there. The rooms are enough for a short stay: clean and comfortable. The hotel is in front of the beach and I made a very pleasant walk around. If you are looking for an accessible place for a short stay, go without fear.

Super fun! The staff are very friendly. The whole hotel and rooms are whimsical and fun. Excellent location right on pink street. The windows are triple thick and the noise is minimal at best. There were complimentary ear buds but we didn't even need them. We really enjoyed out stay and hope to come back again soon!

I had a wonderful stay at Dear Lisbon - Palace Chiado Suites from August 11th to August 16th, and I truly enjoyed every moment of it. What makes this hotel special is the people. The staff are incredibly kind, warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. From the moment I arrived, I felt very comfortable and almost as if I were staying in a beautiful home rather than a hotel. The atmosphere is peaceful, friendly, and truly feels like a home away from home. I especially appreciated all the recommendations from the staff — they were always happy to help and suggest places to visit, restaurants, and things to do in Lisbon. Their advice made my stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared, with a lovely selection of options to start the day. My room was also very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made the stay even more pleasant. I am very grateful to the entire team for their hospitality, kindness, and attention to detail. Dear Lisbon - Palace Chiado Suites is a wonderful place to stay if you want to experience Lisbon in a warm, welcoming, and authentic atmosphere. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

I just returned from a wonderful vacation at Solar Dos Poetas, and I can’t say enough good things about my stay! The location is absolutely amazing, nestled in a picturesque area that made exploring the sights a breeze. Everything I wanted to see in the city was either within walking distance or just a short trip away. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and friendliness. The team went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their local recommendations were spot on and really enhanced my experience. Breakfast was another fantastic part of my visit! Each morning, I enjoyed a delicious spread that included fresh pastries, fruits, and a variety of options that catered to different tastes. It was the perfect start to my day and gave me the energy I needed for my adventures. Overall, Solar Dos Poetas exceeded all my expectations. With its exceptional location, outstanding customer service, and delightful breakfast, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I can’t wait to come back and experience it all over again! Highly recommended!

I chose a room with a bathroom, which is actually the master bedroom of the house. It's quite spacious and has everything. The location is also very good. There is a subway station downstairs, and there are many supermarkets, restaurants, etc. nearby. The kitchen at home is also very easy to use and has everything. The parking situation is not clear. It may not be easy to park on the main road. Comparing the beds in the youth hostels nearby, the price was about twice as high as that in the youth hostels, but they were much more comfortable and comfortable, so I decided to change and did not continue to stay in the youth hostels. Although the landlord is not good at speaking English, he is still very enthusiastic about using translation software to communicate and help. Thank you very much. All in all, it is a very cost-effective choice. If you feel uncomfortable staying in a youth hostel, this is a good choice and highly recommended. (Note that the owner has more than one house, so different house types may not be in the same location. The two houses are not too far apart on foot for four or five minutes. Since there was no phone call in advance and the language was not well understood, the location on the map It’s just one of them, but it’s not where I live, so it doesn’t matter if I wait for a while. Really cool place, it feels premium and the quality is good. The location is fantastic just right next to a metro station that can bring you to the city center in 15 minutes. Also the area around the hotel is full of really good quality restaurants. The breakfast (First picture) is also pretty nice and delicious. The 2nd picture is lunch in the hotel restaurant. Definitely worth the money paid for it :) Good job!

The hotel's hygiene was a major concern. We had to switch rooms three times on our first day, and by the third room, we were too tired to bother anymore. The only upside is that it's right next to the subway station.

The hotel is 8 kilometers from Lisbon's bus terminal and 7 kilometers from major attractions, making it somewhat inconvenient. It's on the third floor, with no elevator and narrow stairs, making carrying luggage a challenge. The rooms are spacious, with balconies and windows that open, and there's a shared kitchen with all the necessary amenities. The front desk is staffed, making check-in quick and easy. It's a great choice for travelers traveling light.
