PPedro Jose Hernandez ZarzosaI've found a real gem in this modern tower. The hotel occupies floors 15 to 18, and the reception is a 10/10 – the staff are super friendly, they offer coffee, tea, and little pastries, and there's also a very comfortable coworking area.
The rooms are like a small studio with a kitchenette: microwave, washing machine, dryer, a full-size fridge, and plenty of closet space. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, and the shower… wow! The water pressure is amazing, absolutely wonderful. The door is floor-to-ceiling, so steam from long showers doesn't escape into the rest of the room. The sink area is a bit small, but it's fine for one or two people. Special mention: the magnifying mirror and the Japanese toilet – a real luxury that I really appreciated.
We were so comfortable that we ended up extending our stay by 3 more days.
The only downside: the metro is about 1 km away, maybe a bit more. But the value for money is so good that what you save on the hotel easily covers a taxi ride. From now on, this will be my go-to place in Shanghai.
Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back.

The full-length mirror right by the entrance, with its natural lighting, doesn't make you look wider – perfect for a quick check before heading out to make sure your outfit looks good. I stayed for four days, and every morning I'd give myself a little twirl in front of it before leaving. When I checked out, I jokingly told the front desk staff, 'This mirror has a slimming effect!' She replied, 'That's because the light comes from the front, so it doesn't create shadows.' The fact that they even considered the angle of the mirror's lighting shows this hotel really thinks about how to make guests comfortable. The hygiene is spotless, the service is spot-on, and you can contact the front desk anytime with any needs. The staff there are especially warm and helpful. The environment is super cozy and inviting, and there's a huge projector screen too! Highly, highly recommend!!!

The free coffee was quite good. Virginia and Ivan were very helpful and always responsive to our requests. We will definitely stay again next time. The only minor drawback was that only one breakfast voucher was provided, which felt a bit stingy.😅

The second time, I booked in advance and didn't have to switch rooms, which was convenient. It's close to a residential area, so dining, shopping, and buying things were all very easy. The only minor issue was that getting in and out of the parking lot could be a bit tricky, and sometimes the security guard had to open the gate manually. The front desk isn't 24-hour, so you need to contact them ahead of time if you're arriving or leaving very early or very late, but it didn't affect my stay. Checkout was also quick and easy.

The breakfast is definitely worth a shout-out – even though it's vegetarian, it's absolutely delicious! Sometimes the owner even gave us some local Shanghai specialties, like White Rabbit candy, which was such a thoughtful touch. I'm definitely staying here again on my next trip to Shanghai!!!

Upon arrival, I encountered a hiccup that nearly drove me to seek accommodations elsewhere, but the issue was swiftly and adeptly handled by a courteous gentleman at the front desk, likely the manager. His prompt resolution and eagerness to address my concerns not only resolved the immediate issue but also instilled a deep sense of trust and satisfaction with my stay.
The hotel itself is located in a quiet area, a rarity in this country's largest and busiest city. Despite its peaceful setting, it is conveniently close to Metro Line 11, ensuring easy access to the city’s vibrant heart. The option to open the windows in my room was a breath of fresh air—literally. It allowed me to enjoy the fresh breeze without leaving the comfort of my well-appointed room.
Speaking of the room, it was a perfect blend of luxury and practicality. The cleanliness was up to the high standard, and it felt like the facility was brand new. The room was equipped with a small kitchen area, complete with a stove, rice cooker, refrigerator, and even a washer. Although there was no dryer in the room, a quick trip to the second floor opened up options not only to dry clothes but also to access private dining/meeting rooms and a well-equipped gym.
Every night was a peaceful retreat. The bed was incredibly comfortable, rivaling the peace of my own home. The tranquil environment contributed to undisturbed nights, ensuring restful sleep and rejuvenated mornings.
The housekeeping staff, particularly two young men, were notably diligent and affable, keeping my room clean and well-supplied. The front desk staff were equally helpful, always ready to assist with any request. Assistance was dispatched via a charming, albeit slower, robot—no tipping required.
This hotel apartment not only met but exceeded my expectations, making it a top recommendation for anyone seeking a 'home away from home.' For those considering a longer stay, here's a tip: contact the hotel directly to speak with a salesperson. You might secure an excellent long-term rate, potentially including breakfast.

YYvTannIt’s our first time in Shanghai and I chose this apartment because of its location. It’s very near to the Jing’an temple, bakeries, very good restaurants like Lai Lai Xiao Loong Bao, Ren He Guan, a Guilin noodle shop that we loved and many more, a Family mart and a short walking distance to the Jing’an temple metro station.
Cosmo World is always guarded at the lobby. The reception team is amazing, especially Lisa. They are all very kind, helpful and always ready to help, even when super busy. They really do go the extra mile. We took a 2-bed room for a family with 1 adult and 2 kids. The room was a good size for us and very well-equipped. We stayed for 2 weeks. The only thing that can be improved is perhaps the shower door, if there’s a rubber seal it would be better so the water doesn’t easily leak outside. Everything else was just perfect for us.

Room Type: I booked a duplex studio. The bed was very comfortable, and the upstairs bedroom had plenty of space, with ample closet room.
Environment: The duplex studio is located in Building B, right above the subway station. There's a McDonald's and FamilyMart nearby, and it's also very convenient to get to the airport.
First-day minibar amenity: The mini-fridge had a can of Coke and a can of soda, plus a small packet of instant noodles. A nice touch!

GGuest UserConvenient location with metro train direct entrance around the corner or steps away via a popular food court with many yummy choices. Nice apartment layout. Clean and modern. The split level loft has stairs that may be challenging for ppl with knee problems or very overweight. Attentive and helpful staffs but not intrusive. My floor is quiet. I slept soundly every night. The bed is firm in the right way, super comfortable. There is a fully functioning kitchen with small yet proper refrigerator, conduction stovetop, pots and pan. The shower is strong and hot. I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it from 3 to 6 nights. I will stay at Modena if I visit Shanghai again.
