I've found a real gem in this modern tower. The hotel occupies floors 15 to 18, and the reception is a 10/10 – the staff are super friendly, they offer coffee, tea, and little pastries, and there's also a very comfortable coworking area. The rooms are like a small studio with a kitchenette: microwave, washing machine, dryer, a full-size fridge, and plenty of closet space. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, and the shower… wow! The water pressure is amazing, absolutely wonderful. The door is floor-to-ceiling, so steam from long showers doesn't escape into the rest of the room. The sink area is a bit small, but it's fine for one or two people. Special mention: the magnifying mirror and the Japanese toilet – a real luxury that I really appreciated. We were so comfortable that we ended up extending our stay by 3 more days. The only downside: the metro is about 1 km away, maybe a bit more. But the value for money is so good that what you save on the hotel easily covers a taxi ride. From now on, this will be my go-to place in Shanghai. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back.

I came to Shanghai to visit a friend, and as two girls, we were most afraid of choosing a 'catfishing' Airbnb, but this one truly surprised me. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was: it's spacious! The floor-to-ceiling windows let all the sunlight in, making the entire living room bright and airy. We spread our suitcases on the floor to pack and unpack, and there was still plenty of room to walk around, no need to squeeze past each other. The sofa was wide enough that we could sprawl out on it, eating takeout and binge-watching shows for an entire afternoon. What I liked most was the excellent attention to safety details. The windows had safety locks, so they couldn't be opened too wide; the cabinet doors all had soft-close hinges, so they closed gently without slamming. My friend said I was 'overthinking things,' but when you're staying alone somewhere, these details really add a lot of value. The kitchen, though small, had everything: microwave, induction cooker, pots, pans, and tableware. One evening, we bought frozen dumplings from the downstairs supermarket and cooked them, and my friend even fried two eggs. We sat at the dining table, eating and chatting, which was even more comfortable than eating out at a restaurant. The washing machine with a dryer was an absolute lifesaver. One afternoon, it suddenly rained, and we got two jackets soaked. We threw them in to wash and dry, and they were ready to wear out again that evening. No need to bring a pile of extra clothes; my suitcase felt half as light. At night, we dimmed the lights, turned on the projector, and snuggled on the sofa to watch a movie. With the curtains drawn, it felt like a mini-cinema. The subway station is right downstairs, it's a ten-minute bike ride to the Bund, and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is within walking distance. The location is simply unbeatable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Shanghai.

this hotel has exceeded my expectations in terms of service, cleanliness, and price point. from the very day i checked in, to the day i checked out, the service attitude of all the staff has been consistently above par. The front desk staff are polite and attentive, always answering requests/queries quickly. Their room option with breakfast is a really nice touch - they deliver it to your room at your preferred time selected a day before. The cleaning ladies are friendly and meticulous, always knocking to get permission to enter and smiling when they enter the room. They do their cleaning daily very thoroughly, changing towels and giving you new bottles of distilled water. And oh, they change bedsheets every 3-4 days. They even have a common kitchen on every floor for guests who like to cook. i rather not reveal too much more information so as not to give away their competitive edge, but this hotel has its way to make guests feel a sense of warmth without being imposing or appearing ”fake”. i would say, it feels like professionalism taken to the next level. The rooms look exactly the way they are in the pictures (minus a throw towel for effect) minimalistic, with clever space management and good layout, clean and new. Best of all every room comes with its own washing machine with dryer. if you dont like to use a dryer, they have a clever clothe hanger in every room too that doesnt take up space as it has a remote control to raise it up and down. Their occupancy rate is high though, so if you see rooms available for your desired dates, better to book before they are gone.

This was my third stay at the IFC Residence, and this time I stayed for five consecutive nights, truly discovering the hotel's versatility. It's connected to a mall with a City Super downstairs, and from the third-floor terrace, you can directly take photos with the 'Three-Piece Suit' (referring to the three iconic skyscrapers). Enjoying breakfast and afternoon tea offers uninterrupted beautiful views. This time, I also experienced the swimming pool and gym on the 25th and 26th floors – it was fantastic! 👍 I especially want to commend the hotel manager, Katee. Thanks to her detailed introduction, I learned about the amenities both inside and around the hotel. I encountered a small issue during my stay, and Katee patiently helped me resolve it. This hotel made me feel relaxed, like I was coming home every day, allowing me to enjoy a true vacation in this city full of urban magic.

Our stay at WENDING Serviced Apartment was absolutely wonderful. I stayed here with my family, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The location is a major highlight—conveniently close to the subway, making getting around the city incredibly easy, and with shopping malls just a short walk away. This was our second time staying here, and it’s truly the perfect choice for anyone visiting Shanghai for more than a week. The serviced apartment offers all the comforts of home, with the added bonus of a 24-hour butler service that makes everything effortless. The rooms are warm and cozy—the heating works exceptionally well—which made our stay especially comfortable during the cooler days. We’ll definitely choose WENDING again on our next trip!

Communication was smooth and timely even before we arrived. Once in the building, the unit was on a high floor and away from the elevator, just as we requested. Equipped with everything we needed, this unit was comfortable, functional, and perfect for resting after long days of exploring the city. The shower, though small, had perfect water pressure and temperature. Finally, its proximity to the subway made it easy to get anywhere in the city quickly, and the variety of dining options simplified our morning and evening routines. All in all, an ideal place to stay in Shanghai. We will definitely return to the same place in the future.

I stayed two days and i wished i stayed longer. The serviced apartments are spacious and the front desk receptionist was extremely helpful with everything. The washing machine wasn’t working but everything else was fine. My only issue is the women working at the office next to the front desk who was very unhelpful, the young man working the front desk was exceptionally polite and helpful.

I booked a hotel apartment in the city specifically to watch F1, and it was very conveniently located near the racetrack. The apartment facilities were also quite good. The only problem was that on the first day, I noticed there might have been leftover takeout from the previous guest outside the door. I reminded the staff to collect it, but it was still there the next morning…

I stayed here 2 months as a solo female traveler and had a decent experience. First off: Peter was WONDERFUL! He was so extremely helpful and keen that I should have a good time and I am really grateful for his attentive and kind communication. There is a large construction going on right by the building (and it will continue through Dec 2025) so there is noise every day from ca 09:00 to 22:00 (at the latest). Peter helped me change rooms immediately to one that was facing the courtyard, which was better (but lets face it, the noise is still there so if you want peace and quiet, this isnt it). In addition there were repair within the building too when I stayed - of course this is not to the fault of anyone. ** Pros: location is close to 2 metro lines, 2 shopping centres. Its very convenient to get most places and close to SHA airport (Pudong is further off). The security is good. The garbage station is open most of the day. They offered change of sheets and towels weekly which was great. **Cons: the rooms are a bit old so there is a smell, I also was unlucky that the previous guest had smoked despite it being forbidden. Saw a cockroach once (but never again - be careful to throw away garbage quickly) and also the doors are quite thin so you'll hear your neighbors in the corridors. Rooms are ”surface” clean but not deep clean, so if you like squeaky clean like me you have to get your own materials. There is definitely buildup. Overall it was a decent stay, and I left with a good feeling thanks to Peter and the nice staff there! Thanks!
