GGuest UserStaying at Novotel Living was a pleasant surprise during my trip to Shanghai. I had originally booked the Novotel hotel, but when I got to the front desk, I found out they also had apartment rooms. For the same price and with the same buffet breakfast, the apartments offered newer and more complete facilities. I immediately switched my booking to the apartment. The front desk attendant, Yao Yao, was not only beautiful but also very kind, and she even upgraded me to a suite! It was an amazing experience. Plus, the hotel's location is great – quiet yet central – and the breakfast was delicious. I'll definitely choose Novotel Living again for my next business trip to Shanghai.

This feels like a hotel with excellent value for money. The cleanliness and ambiance are both superb. I especially love the large refrigerator in the room; it can hold all the drinks I buy.

JJohannes GGreen Court is an excellent place to stay for both long term and short duration. As they have two bedroom apartments, it’s convenient to lodge a family. We know Green Court as my wife and I lived there for a few years and after 10 years came back, now with a family. Still it’s well maintained, clean and the apartments are spacious, having a complete kitchen, living room and good bathrooms. Maybe a little more expensive than a hotel, but its value for money. The surrounding is also nice, several restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity. Green Court didn’t disappoint us, in the contrary. We already booked again and it will be our place to stay whenever we’re in Shanghai, which is regularly.

JJaz ExploresIFC Residence Shanghai was an excellent choice for our family stay and the location honestly could not be better. Being directly connected to the IFC Mall and right in the heart of Lujiazui made everything incredibly convenient with restaurants, luxury shopping, cafes, convenience stores and the metro all easily accessible.
The views from the property are beautiful, especially around the Pudong skyline area, and the location feels very safe, modern and easy to navigate even with young children.
We stayed in an apartment-style room which worked perfectly for a family trip. Having extra space along with practical features like a kitchen, laundry facilities and living area made a huge difference during a longer stay compared to a standard hotel room.
The staff were always polite and professional and the property felt quiet and well maintained despite being in such a busy central location.
The indoor pool and gym facilities were also very good and the overall atmosphere felt calm and comfortable after long days exploring Shanghai.
Overall, a fantastic option for families or longer stays in Shanghai, especially if you value space, practicality and an unbeatable location. Would definitely stay here again.

AAnonymous UserThis stay exceeded my expectations. First, the front desk staff upgraded me to a one-bedroom suite, which was well-designed with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Second, the complimentary breakfast was McDonald's, and they even delivered it to my room at my preferred time. Additionally, parking was very convenient, the housekeeping was good, the room was quiet, and the air conditioning worked exceptionally well. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance.

The two receptionists were very friendly and helpful, and also very pet-friendly. The overall experience was excellent. The apartment was very clean, parking was convenient, and there weren't many people around. The parking lot was quite empty. There's a green space next door, which is great for dog walking, making it very pet-friendly. I especially want to praise Trish.

CChoupihuaniuThe room is exquisite with many lovely soft furnishings, and they're well done too. There were also some fruits and snacks, very generously provided. Although the hotel is quite old, the owner has clearly made an effort to perfect the details and ensure cleanliness. The staff were also very nice. Coupled with the excellent location, it's really quite good. My only complaint is that the duvet was too thick; I woke up in the middle of the night feeling hot.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is super convenient, just a 3-minute walk from Jing'an Temple subway station. My room even had a view of the Golden Roof of Jing'an Temple! Plus, it's right next to 1788, so there are plenty of great food options around. Ordering takeout was also a breeze, with all sorts of famous dishes available. They provided 4 bottles of water daily, so I didn't need to buy any. Also, I forgot my hair clip at the hotel, and the housekeeper promptly reminded me. All in all, it was fantastic and made me love Shanghai even more (+1000 points)! I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

GGuest UserConvenient location with metro train direct entrance around the corner or steps away via a popular food court with many yummy choices. Nice apartment layout. Clean and modern. The split level loft has stairs that may be challenging for ppl with knee problems or very overweight. Attentive and helpful staffs but not intrusive. My floor is quiet. I slept soundly every night. The bed is firm in the right way, super comfortable. There is a fully functioning kitchen with small yet proper refrigerator, conduction stovetop, pots and pan. The shower is strong and hot. I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it from 3 to 6 nights. I will stay at Modena if I visit Shanghai again.
