Inns in Shanghai

After staying in the first room on the first night, I booked another room in the same hotel for the second night. This room was slightly more expensive (around 10 RMB more) but it had a window facing the road. The room had all the same basic amenities as the first one, including Wi-Fi, slippers, dental kit, shower gel, towels, and a hairdryer. The cleanliness was also just as good. The room was very clean with no dust, and the bathroom was neat and well maintained. Compared with the first room, this one was slightly larger and felt more comfortable mainly because of the window. The window provided natural light and ventilation, which made the room feel much more open and pleasant. Overall, everything I mentioned in my previous review about the hotel—such as the cleanliness, basic amenities, reasonable price, and convenient location—also applies to this room. The only difference is that this room is slightly bigger and has a window, which makes it a bit more comfortable. If you are deciding between the two, paying a little extra for the window room is worth it. ”Sleeping by the water, stealing half a day of leisure” In this homestay in Zhifou Ancient Town, I unexpectedly encountered the ideal slow life. The inn is in an excellent location. You can see the gurgling river when you open the window. You are awakened by the waves in the morning and fall asleep with the sound of running water at night, as if you are living in an ink painting. The room is surprisingly clean, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the owner's care can be seen in the details (especially the cleanliness of the bathroom!). The boss is enthusiastic but not too intrusive, and he also kindly recommended the niche route of the ancient town. I love sitting on the riverside terrace to drink tea and watch the black sail boats swaying by, and all the troubles are taken away by the water~ If you want to temporarily leave the hustle and bustle of the city, this is definitely a good place to heal your body and mind. It has been collected in the ”definitely come again” list!

Very clean and great helpful staff. The only downside is no elevator, only stairs, so if someone with mobility issues, it might pose a problem. Otherwise, it is great for the value and location to be minutes to the tram and metro. There is a nearby corner convenient store that has lots of great snacks and drinks for very great prices. Recommend if you are on a budget.

We booked late and only one room was left on the first floor. The room wasn't big, but it had a small balcony overlooking the old street's river, which offered a nice view. Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be any fish in the river. The guesthouse's location was quite convenient; it was just a left turn at the first intersection into the old street. It was very convenient whether you were going out or just strolling through the old street.

It’s really good to book this house near Disney. The owner is very warm and considerate, and has a good service attitude. He will take the initiative to help with luggage. The store also provides Disney pick-up and drop-off service, and you can store luggage for free. The room is also very hygienic and clean, with its own layout and arrangement. Although it is small, it is well-equipped. The disadvantage is that the sound insulation effect is average, but the store thoughtfully used sound insulation cotton. Except for the sound of walking outside the corridor, the sound from other rooms is basically inaudible.

The place was very clean, and the facilities seemed to have been renovated and were quite good. However, the hairdryer kept overheating. And the soundproofing was absolutely terrible; I could hear every footstep outside, which was a bit scary for someone living alone. It's a bit far from the subway station, but it's not too bad if you can ride a bike.

The interior facilities are quite complete, with a cooking area, range hood, and washing machine. It's suitable for long-term stays. The shower drainage isn't very smooth, but the cleanliness is acceptable.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Shanghai. The location was excellent, close to public transportation and within easy reach of the main attractions, making it a very convenient base for exploring the city. The service from the staff was good, and they were polite and willing to help whenever needed. However, some of the amenities could be improved. For example, the washing machine did not work properly, which was a bit frustrating during my stay. With better maintenance of these facilities, the overall experience would be much smoother. Even so, the hotel offered a comfortable stay with reliable service and a great location. With a few upgrades to the amenities, it has the potential to be an even better choice for visitors to Shanghai.

Booked this hotel last minute, cause my favorite hotel is closing down business this month and i wanted something nearer cause I’m well versed with the surrounding areas, 1: the first red flag is the reception, mail and deliveries are all piled up and falling off shelves, it’s so dirty and humid, it looks like a hoarder’s poach, they’re no waiting chairs, so you’ll stand while they process the guests that came before you until it’s your turn !! The receptionists are very nice and helpful . 2; no room housekeeping ( you’ll have to ask for someone to come take the rubbish and give you towels or change your bedding. 3: THE FILTH!!! The filth is on level 1000/100 the grime made it hard for me to shower with my eyes open, I’m not sure if the place has a manager and if they care about the the wellbeing of the clients , because from what i saw, the cleaners don’t even bother, the floor had food stains from i think when they just opened, the sink🤮 the bathroom ( that one corner gave me the hibbigibeis) the toilet seat was broken , everything in the bathroom was broken and dirty , then my charger fell in the space which is between the bathroom glass and the bed, got down to retrieve it and i decided it was best to just a get a new charger instead. The place if cleaned and cared for would be an amazing hotel apartment, it has great amenities , a washing machine a fridge and a drying rack if you upgrade to a bigger room, a kitchenette that would be great if you are interested in cooking and staying longer and it’ has an Aldi downstairs, a gym and lots of other great places surrounding it . I really hope the owners would read this and take it into consideration and carry out serious supervision or else their property will lose value, The hygiene of the hotel does not only ensure the health and wellness of the visitors who sleep in those walls but also keeps the property value up. Dirt And filth only brings it down and puts the health of others at risk . I really hope they change standards.

I chose this hotel because of its excellent location, just steps from Metro Line 2 and incredibly convenient to the three major shopping malls (Lujiazui, Xi'an, and Taipei) and the Huangpu River. It's rare to find a hotel at this price in the Lujiazui area. The experience exceeded my expectations; the room was very clean, and the receptionist and landlady were extremely friendly. Considering its location, cleanliness, service, and price, this hotel is undoubtedly a reliable choice in the Lujiazui area, and I highly recommend it.
